wilder5 Deontay Wilder destroys Damon McCreary in 2nd round TKOBy Marcus Richardson: Still unbeaten heavyweight prospect and knockout artist Deontay Wilder (25-0, 25 KO’s) added another knockout to his growing list earlier tonight with a 2nd round TKO victory over 39-year-old previously unbeaten Damon McCreary (14-1, 10 KO’s) at The Hangar at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, California.

Loading up with every shot he threw, the 6’7″, 2008 Olympic Bronze medalist for U.S Wilder knocked the 262 pound, 5’11″ McCreary down three times in the fight before it was eventually stopped in the 2nd round. Wilder put McCreary down once in the 1st and two more times in the 2nd before the slaughter was halted. While McCreary isn’t exactly the toughest opponent you could find, Wilder’s power was very real tonight.

With the way Wilder was punching he looked like he could have knocked out a lot of the top heavyweights in the division including the Klitschko brothers if he landed his right hands against them.
