Dereck Chisora Still Angry At Wladimir Klitschko For Pulling Out Of Defence!

British heavyweight bad boy Dereck “Del Boy” Chisora is not making any predictions ahead of his ring return tonight – against Argentine Hector Alfredo Avila – merely stating that he will “enjoy it.” However, the former WBC title challenger is not holding his tongue on the subject of world heavyweight number-one Wladimir Klitschko.

As fans may recall, Chisora was twice set to challenge “Dr. Steel Hammer” some months back, only for Wladimir to twice pull out of the fight. This still angers Chisora, the first cancellation especially.

Speaking with Mike Woods of EPIX, Chisora, 15-4(9) had nothing but bad things to say about Wladimir:

“I hate those motherf*****s, man. I can’t say anymore about it,” Chisora said on the Klitschkos. “I hate them for a simple reason. Listen, the first fight, me and [Wladimir] was done, we signed the contract and everything. I spent so much training, and then on the last day he cancelled the fight.

“But it happened. That’s when I spat in [Wladimir’s] face. If I see him again, I’ll do worse. I don’t regret it. I’ll piss on him next time. Saturday night (against), I’m just gonna enjoy it. I’m not gonna do a prediction. I’m just gonna enjoy it.”

Promoter Frank Warren says he hopes to get Chisora “a big fight” in July – providing, of course, the re-licensed Londoner wins tonight against the 20-12-1(13) Avila.

Meanwhile, in other Klitschko news, unbeaten British giant Tyson Fury (who holds a win over Chisora) has again stated his belief that the Klitschkos will never face him in the ring.

“They are very clever businessmen,” Fury told BBC Radio 5 when speaking on the Klitschkos. “They have made a lot of money out of boxing and have been reigning for a very long time so why would they risk it? For them to take a risk against a 24-year-old who is younger, bigger, faster, and stronger doesn’t make sense.”

Instead, Fury says, he will defeat Steve Cunningham tonight, then Kubrat Pulev in another eliminator, before fighting for the titles he is sure the Klitschkos will soon vacate.

“I’ll create my own era,” Fury said.
