Doctor Ntsele Defends WBF Intercontinental Title October 5

World Boxing Federation (WBF) Intercontinental Flyweight Champion Doctor Ntsele continues his quest for a world title shot, as he defends his crown on October 5 in Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa.

Ntsele, who boasts a professional record of 16-5-1 (11) and is a former South African national champion, will be facing compatriot Motswaki Moselesele, 12-6-1 (5), in a rematch of their October 2012 encounter which Ntsele won by TKO in round twelve.

Having won the WBF title this past April with an impressive knockout in round eight over Xola Sifama, this will be 26-year-old Ntsele’s first title defence, and it will likely not be an easy one as Moselesele gave him all he could handle before he finally found the equalizer in the last round.

Former Free State champion Moselesele has not fought since last going to war with Ntsele, a challenge for the S.A. title, but he is reportedly in magnificent shape and full of confidence that this time he will be the one leaving the ring victorious.

Ntsele’s manager, former world champion and South African boxing icon, Lehlo Ledwaba has proclaimed that, while not looking past Moselesele, after this bout he is hoping his charge will be challenging for the WBF World title, which is currently vacant.

Moselesele will have his own opinion about that, and should see this as his own opportunity to possibly get in line for a crack at world honours if he gets his revenge on October 5.

The highly anticipated grudge match will be promoted by Lebo Mahoko.
