EPIX Telecast Highlights of Abraham-Stieglitz II

NEW YORK (March 23, 2013) — World championship boxing returned to EPIX today in a BIG way. Former World Boxing Organization (WBO) super middleweight champion ROBERT STIEGLITZ (44-3, 25 KOs), a Russian native who fights out of Magdeburg, Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany, regained his world title by avenging his title loss to two-division world champion “King” ARTHUR ABRAHAM (36-4, 28 KOs), a native of Armenia who lives in Berlin, in a rematch of their “Fight of The Year”-contender of last summer.

Abraham-Stieglitz II was televised live ringside to the U.S. from GTEC Arena in Magdeburg, Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany, exclusively on EPIX, the premium entertainment service. EPIX also streamed the fights live on EpixHD.com and on the EPIX app on Xbox consoles and Roku players as part of a special free trial offer for boxing fans.

EPIX will show the replay tonight at Midnight ET. EpixHD.com will have the replay available, on demand, for EPIX subscribers and those taking advantage of the special free trial offer.
