Ryan Aston Added To It’s-A-Bout-Boxing Bill

By Daniel Mole: Rising middleweight star, Ryan Aston, has been added to It’s-A-Bout-Boxing’s first show of the new season on Friday, 13th September at The Institute, Digbeth, Birmingham.

‘The Tank’ (10-1) who hails from Dudley, has enjoyed a productive 2013 to date; recording three impressive victories against Kirill Psonko, Gilson De Jesus and Harry Matthews. Victory over Matthews, at super middleweight, saw Aston claim the British Masters strap at that weight.

Promoter, Marcus Anderson, is delighted to have Aston on his fiendishly good ‘Friday 13th’ bill.

“It’s great to have Ryan on board,” Anderson told www.uko-boxing.com. “He’s an exciting prospect with a big future ahead of him.

“I’ve seen him training and he looks fit and sharp, so I’m sure he’ll put on a performance for Birmingham boxing fans!”

Tickets are just £25 General, £50 Ringside and £75 VIP Ringside. They are by calling the Box Office on 0845 467 3930 or 07888 870 650.

Top of the bill sees Birmingham’s Chris Truman take on Wales’ Lee Quinn for a British Masters Welterweight Title.

Prospects Gym (in Birmingham) stablemates, Warren ‘Big Rig’ Sinden, Michael ‘Mad Man’ Mooney and Ainsley Seivwright are in action alongside unbeaten Brummie super middleweight, Andrew ‘D’Animal’ Robinson.

Former British Welterweight Champion, Young Mutley, is also back in action alongside Coventry’s unbeaten heavyweight, Mike O’Hagan. Super flyweight prospect Samson ‘Slick’ Sykes and youngster Mikey Boyles complete the card. ‘Friday 13th’. It’s the one you’ve all been screaming for.
