Throughout the first thirty minute segment of the two hour program, The Pugilist KOrner team will discuss Canelo Alvarez’s dominant TKO 10 victory over perennial Junior Middleweight runner up Alfredo Angulo, which took place last night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. James and Joseph will also talk about the future of both fighters, including the prospect of both fighters competing in the very underrated Middleweight division sometime soon.

The dynamic duo of “The Pugilist KOrner” will also discuss Floyd Mayweather Jr’s official announcement of “The Moment: Mayweather vs. Maidana”, which is slated to take place on May 3rd, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. JK attended yesterday’s “big” press conference in Sin City, and will share his thoughts on the special media event.

At the half hour mark of the show, “The Pugilist KOrner’s: Weekend Wrap” is honored to feature elite level trainer Ronnie Shields!! The lifelong boxing mentor will discuss what actually transpired in Vegas this past week that destroyed the highly anticipated Charlo/Molina contest for the IBF Junior Middleweight title. The future Hall of Fame trainer will talk about Jermall’s future, as well as Erislandy Lara’s kamikaze mission at the “Canelo/Angulo” post fight press conference.

In the final segment of the evening, we’re proud to feature master strategist James Gogue on “The Pugilist KOrner‘s: Weekend Wrap”. The three decade boxing coach will examine the upcoming match-ups between Danny Garcia/Mauricio Herrera, Deontay Wilder/Malik Scot, and analyze why Canelo was so dominant against Alfredo Angulo yesterday evening. The talented fight trainer will also discuss Alvarez/Thompson, Linares/Arakawa, and Santa Cruz/Mijares, which took place on the “Toe to Toe” fight card in Vegas last night.
