The Heat Is On! Lee Glover tops the bill

EJKO Promotions’ ‘The Heat Is On’, at Walsall Town Hall on Friday, 11th July, is taking shape.

Tipton’s Lee Glover tops the bill as he takes on Swindon’s Joe Beeden for the British Masters Featherweight Title.

Walsall’s British Masters Light Welterweight Champion, Luke Paddock, is chief support as he takes on Portsmouth’s Lewis O’Mara.

Wolverhamton brother’s Des and Sid Bowater are also in action. Super featherweight, Des, takes on the experienced Kristian Laight in his first six-round fight. Elder brother, Sid, is set to make his professional debut at welterweight after receiving the all-clear from a brain scan. His opponent has yet to be named.

Halesowen super middleweight Lennox Clarke will be looking to record a fourth straight win when he steps in with Croydon’s Joe Walsh.

Stafford’s Grant Cunningham makes a welcome return to ring action. The undefeated super middleweight prospect will be looking to make it 9-0 when he takes on the dangerous welsh scrapper, Jamie Ambler.

Birmingham super featherweight prospect, Sean ‘Show Time’ Davis, takes on Bristol’s Harvey Hemsley.

Ryan Corrigan and Tom Stokes no longer feature but Birmingham’s John Hutchinson is now in action. The light middleweight takes on the experienced Kieron Gray.

The show will be aired live and exclusive on BBC WM’s DAB Digital Service and online at www.bbc.co.uk/wm.

Tickets, priced at £30 and £60 Ringside, are available from Walsall Town Hall Box Office on 0845 111 2900. The aftershow party and weigh-in both take place at the Pitch Sports Bar and Grill on Bridge Street, Walsall.
