Big Rich where have you been his ex wife took most of his money and I believe he has to pay like 1 million in child support and alimony someone correct me if I’m wrong it’s been over a year that I read about that. I’m sure that model he’s dating isn’t going out for him for his looks and his eloquent spoken speech he has

Sweed Boxing Mosley received a gift when he fought Delahoya and Mosley was a steroid cheat ever since he moved up to Welter weight so I wouldn’t call him an all time great but an All time Cheat fits the shoe better

Hopefully Cano doesn’t catch a col… oh wait… that only happens when you need to get out of a fight so you can fight Shane. Golden Boy’s wallet strikes again.

I feel sad for “Sugar” Shane Mosley becouse he was a great fighter in his days. Former 5-time world champion and defeated the likes of Oscar De La Hoya x2, Fernando Vargas x2, Philip Holiday, John John Molina, Jesse James Leija, Antonio Diaz, Shannan Taylor, Luis Collazo, Ricardo Mayorga, Antonio Margarito and other quality fighters. But Mosley is 41 years old and will turn 42 in September and fighting at this weigh class in his age at top is close yo suicide! I mean Mosley have not won a fight sence 2009 and sence that lost 3 and 1 draw and those losses was wide open. His 2 latest fights against Manny Paquiao and Saul Alvarez was horrible to watch as Mosley put on little of performance and barley survived both fights. This is just bad as Pablo Cesar Cano is 23 years young, coming from a close SD loss to Paul Malignaggi for the WBA world welterweight title back in October 2012 and is hungry for redemption so I can’t see how Mosley should have any chanse to win more then a lucky KO shot – wich will not happen :-/ This is like I said sad for an future Hall of Famer.

Big Rich

Listening to Mosley, I’m not sure he is fighting for money! He said a couple of things that got me thinking, he said his Dad really needs this, so i think he is fighting to give his Dad a chance to be able to build up his stable of fighters again! I don’t think Shane needs to fight. He must of made between $5M – 10M in his last 3 fights. If you can’t live off that then you will be in problems anyway. He made $15M off the de la hoya fight, he doesn’t have a massive entourage… Things like that make me think he is good, I also think there is enough work going about for him outside the ring promoting, training for him to be successful away from fighting.
I think Shane wants to find out if he has anything left because after who he fought he might be good enough to deal with a Cano!
If he loses I hope he calls it a day, one of the top 3 lightweights of all time and some great fights, someone who was not afraid to fight anyone!

Question

Cano will beat Mosley, possibly handing him his first TKO loss.

This is about MONEY. His ex took him to the cleaners. Sounds like he didn’t manage his money well when he was on top; and now he is forced to fight beyond his better years. This is when the great ones get HURT. I feel bad for him.

Bad money management. Might as well spare us the theatrics and box till 65.

1. While Shane has lost three of his last four bouts, he hasn’t been losing to bums, that’s for sure. 2. I hope this comeback is fueled by desire to fight, and not desperation for money. 3. I’d like him to go out on a win, hopefully win this fight and then call it a career — Shane has been in a lot of wars and he really needs quit soon so he can enjoy his golden years with a fully-functioning brain.

I hope this is just a case of Mosely wanting to go out on a win, and not a whole “comeback.” Mosely hasn’t won a fight since Margarito back in 2009. And Cano lost against the only 2 fighters he fought who were close to Mosely’s level – Malinaggi and Morales. So if there’s anything left in Mosely’s tank, he should win this one.

Does this classify as a working holiday for mosley?

The Mad Scientist

I wouldn’t be shocked at all if Cano whips Mosley’s ass at this point and stage of his career and I have a funny feeling that’s exactly what’s going to happen.
