Much has been said about the chins of Lennox and Wlad. IMO both had/ have decent chins because Wlad took some bombs from Sanders and still kept getting up. Thank God the ref stopped it. Lennox did get hit with bombs when KOed. All in all… average chins.

I have never seen boxing “writers” post such one sided, blind sided comments about boxers. If you read this article it sounds like DAVID PRICE tripped over his own feet like Tony Thompson did nothing. SOOO continue to pump David’s head up with this rubbish, you guys are doing the same like you did with the first fight…LOL this is laughable.!!! David the air you breathe alone wil allow you to win this fight! LMAO

Blah blah blah…

One loss doesn’t end a career… Just look at Wladimir, who suffered through 3 really bad stoppages before he got his act together. However the manner of Price’s stoppage was cause for concern. He didn’t take a really heavy shot, but he got clipped behind the ear where some guys can take it and some can’t … He can’t.

With Wladimir, he didn’t react badly to any one punch… With Lennox, he got hit with a couple of the hardest right hands ever thrown.

Price on points or a late knockout … in a boring fight.

It shows Price has character to take him on again …. i think Price can do it. Hopefully Price can adapt …. if he cant beat Thompson then its hard to see where he can go from here. Its a do-or-die fight. I wonder if Thompson will come in better shape this time?

Let them fight five times. Oh, I forgot their names aren’t Pac and Marquez.

Price needs to do what he has to do to get to wlad, if that means fighting boring defensive fights then so be it, if or when he gets a shot at Wlad, then he should do what he tried to do to Thompson, if u and ur opponent have questionable chins then u better land first

I’m English, but believe the rematch should not happen in the UK!

i gotta agree, price was exposed and the only question is how much longer he can last the second time around, bonne chance!

Whether it happens or not, regardless of who wins, my question for Thompson is “why bother?”

In the Rematch, Thompson is going to be in better shape and he is going to give Price trouble again.

I think Price will win the return. Price learned a harsh lesson last time and he strikes me as a person that will heed the lesson. I suspect his punch-resistance will always be a weakness, he just needs to develop a style that limits the exposure of that weakness ….. a bit like Wladimir did. We will wait and see but I think Price will bet Thompson this time round. Thompson is nothing special …. a decent boxer but not a fighter that deserves to be feared at world level.

Yes Price had to try and get a rematch anything less would look like he was ducking Thompson.Thats the problem today with fighters waiting to long to advance their careers, they are to old to rebuild rearange their blueprints. At 29 or 30 fighters have to move pretty fast if they want to do something big.I also agree Price dosent look happy when he has to fight on his back foot, and when your knocking out medicore fighters your not learning how to do this very well. But this is a make or break fight for Price.Because of the type of shot Price took on the ear I will give him a pass but with a big ?.Its like a clean liver shot it dosent mean you have a weak body if you get stopped by it.But this rematch will tell the whole story,if Price can move on or look to be a bouncer somewhere.

I think price was guilty of underestimating thompson. He was on top and tried to finish him off early like all the others and got caught going for the stoppage, however this time by a top boxer. When you step up you have to be aware of that and price wasnt. I would expect price to win next time around but a defeat would finish him so for price this fight is huge
