It’s too bad for all of you GGG haters. This is the era of the GGG man. I feel bad for Sergio Martinez and Geale who will get clobbered if they dare face the GGG man.

I dont totally disagree with your comments Mark but Golovkin has to lay a proper shot on Geale first………. Daniel is a very slick boxer and is very hard to hit

Not trying to disrespect Geale or anything, I gave him a great chance at beating Mundine, Sylvester & Sturm and he officially won two out of the three. I have nothing but respect for the guy he has guts skill but lacks power, if you check boxrec you will see there are a number of fights in which he has been floored by alot lesser fighters than Golovkin. None of the fighters he has faced so far had the power of Golovkin, and I just wonder when he gets his flush on the chin what is going to happen. I’m not saying he has a glass jaw, but Lajuan Simon had never been ko’d in his career and Golovkin smashed him in 1 rd Arthur Abraham could not make a dent and had to go the full twelve.

Geale could go the distance with Golovkin. This article could be much shorter. A few sentences :)

Geale can beat Galovkin. Geale is very smart and can adjust from fire 2 fight and adjust during a fight… He wont b scared of him either. Yes Galovkin hits hard but Geales smart, workrate and cardio could c him home….no1 no’s if Galovkin will sink or swim yet when taken in2 deep waters against world class opponents. And it will get deep and nasty 4 him at some point by some1, I can’t c any reason y it couldn’t b Geale

I suspect the author whatever his name is didn’t watch Geale against Sturm and has not seen any of Geales fights? Geale is all class and skillwise miles ahead of the heavy handed Golovkin. It may take Golovkin one or two big punches to slow Geale but lets face it, Golovkin when loading a punch gives someone with Geales skills enough time to lick a stamp and put it on Golovkins glove. Like whatever his name is who wrote the article, if you believe Geale will easily get taggged you are a fool!

Talk about no respect, its one thing to be considered an elite level fighter by fighting and beating other elite level fighters but its another thing to beat elite level fighters and take their belts in their home ground…

Miaow………. why can`t the writer just have some class and admit he was wrong about Geale.

After reading all of the articles about Golovkin this morning there must be a buzz in the USA about him. It wouldn’t surprise me if Golovkin bypasses Geale to a bigger name & money fight in the USA. HBO might want to match him against the winner of Martinez-Chavez. Time will tell

I’m not so sure about that… Geale just beat a good, defensive boxer who had 13 successful consecutive defenses and that could be said to have beaten De La Hoya… Golovkin has been impressive about sub-par competition. So, let’s wait a little bit…

Props to Geale for winning in germany against sturm, a fighter who’s been protected, and has been running away from golovkin for pretty long, nice to see sturm loosing.
I think golovkin will knock out geale, because he is the best middleweight out there, with great punching power.
Geale can probably make a tough fight if he fight the right tactical fight, anyway golovkin is just too good for him.

Wow this writter really is a tosser. He was 100% wrong with what he wrote about the Geale Sturm fight…..still not giving credit where credit is due. Geales been 2 Germany twice now and done the almost impossible, very little fighters from other countries go 2 Germany and win a non tittle fight letalone 2 world tittle belts. I like Galovkin but what names has he got on his resume…Geale is a champ I’n and out of the ring. The guy that wrote this needs 2 eat his humble pie.

If GGG has limited boxing skills with 3 Amateur World Titles plus Olympic Medal, + undefeated pro record with high ratio KO, all coming to action with fashion, then tell me please, who around does those unlimited boxing skills??? This is a new champion Gale, will find the same end as all previous GGG opponents, as well as others future middleweights. Whose want to stay on GGG way no one will able to spoil GGG destiny to became an undisputed middleweight King!
Watch around! The GGG era just began!

You showed geale absolutely no respect before the fight predicting a shutout for sturm.Geale takes 2 world titles in their own backhard and you are still disrespecting him.I would like to know your boxing credentials

I dont think you have much of an idea about boxing.Geale is very smart and can develop a great game plan for any fighter. From what I have seen of Golovkin,he has great power but has limited boxing skills.I think the outcome will be far different than your far from proffessional opinion.

The WBA have ordered Geale vs Golovkin to take place before the years out which could work to Geale’s advantage should the fight take place in Australia during the height of Summer. What’s the chance’s of Sturm moving to 168LB to fight Arthur Abraham? Another question has to be did Sturm have a re-match clause writen into the Geale contract?

What a load of rubbish you write. Why don’t you get in the ring with daniel ‘the tomato can’ geale and see if you ever eat solid food again. Daniel takes on all comers and proves victorious. he should fight martinez anyway not a no name like Golovkin

Agreed. From what I’ve seen of Golovkin thus far, I just can’t get this Golovkin-camp-paid media hype. He’s slow, with archaic static style and horribly average at best. It’s awful how Ring TV author was paid by Golovkin camp to write paen about him, leading to this fight and didn’t post his piece as advertisement. Golovkin has never fought anyone who is any good in his career and I don’t see him going past Proksa, who deserves much better than having his name constantly spelled and pronounced wrong (“Proska”) by American media.

Dont you just love articles from the likes of this Golovkin bum boy? Wearing blinkers seems to be his forte. Geale V Golovkin would be an interesting fight, but lets not count our chickens before they are hatched bum boy.

Well, he wasn’t supposed to beat Sylvester and he wasn’t supposed to beat Sturm so i guess it won’t worry him that he isn’t supposed to beat Golovkin. He is the champ now so the fight will be in Australia. The job is a lot easier when he only has to beat the opponent and not the judges.

To the author, we’ll see if Golovkin beat Proska first, the result of that fight must be coming in soon! It’s not like the first we have heard Geale doesn’t stand a chance. Geale just outboxed a good boxer in Sturm, guess what he boxes better against brawlers. Styles make fights and Daniel Geale can be very slippery. We get a free look at the Golovkin_proska fight in Australia on Wednesday and I’ll make my mind up then but I’d never count Daniel Geale out, you don’t win two world titles on points in Germany without having talent, guts, chin and ring smarts. I dare say Geale will make an IBF Mandatory defence next against Sam Soliman in Australia and then look to face the winner or Martinez-Chavez so Golovkin is probably way down the list of priorities for Daniel Geale!

***

Geale has until December 31st to defend his WBA title against Golovkin. If he hasn’t done it by then the WBA will strip it from him and hand it over to Golovkin on a silver platter.

Erm….Golovkin will first have to get past Proksa and then we will see. So far Golov has done s all yet has massive hype train behind him. Thats what happens to untested fighters. You don’t get tested ergo you cannot get exposed.
