HellSpawn86That is because his body was looking smooth after eating too much butter Posted September 2, 2012 5:28 pmhecdogFat Pig Gonzalez should be shamed of himself! He humiliated himself, his country and all the great fighters in history. If I were HBO, I wouldn’t give him another fight again. Show some respect forthe sport you bum!! He has no skills, so I don’t know why HBO would even put this bUM on. Posted September 2, 2012 5:19 pmJimmylmao…Gonzalez mugged that scrub. HBO gave a draw to their fighter. Everyone knows Gonzalez won that fight easily. Yeah, he was overweight for the fight, but its what it is. Perhaps he really is a middleweight. Whatever..He won that fight. And Dulerme is the next superstar Puerto Rican. Gonzalez will also wear a title. Posted September 2, 2012 5:19 pmFight AficionadoGonzalez cheated by making this a super middleweight vs jr middleweight fight and still could only get a draw. Next time make weight or GTFO. Posted September 2, 2012 3:03 pmPaul McCreathAnother case of a fighter not coming close to making weight. This is a direct result of day before weigh-ins which enable fighters to compete below their proper weight class.Bring back same day weigh-ins!!!This gaining and losing many pounds in a short time is more dangerous than the old way of doing it. Posted September 2, 2012 1:10 pmSkinsThis guy calls himself Mantequilla? Really? He showed me nothing Posted September 2, 2012 1:05 pmsrminimoI’ve often wondered the same. There are a ton of kids in PR coming up with more upside. Gonzalez has talent, after all this was his 15th fight and he was fighting a former champ with only a loss to Sergio Martinez, so there’s something there. But every time I see him he has fought at a leisurely pace, and to me it seems it’s because he’s never in top shape. There’s always a layer of baby fat on him, and I’m not sure it’s the same case of Juan Diaz, where his body was naturally that way, but you knew he was fit. Posted September 2, 2012 12:55 pmThe KingslayerAwful fight. Gonzalez has no discipline. Posted September 2, 2012 12:10 pmte tumbobecause promoters are Desperate to recapture the PR fanbase. however, i think Gonzalez’s performance last night might have had the opposite effect. Posted September 2, 2012 12:06 pmte tumboif this is the best PR has to offer, their best days are OVER. Gonzalez is already training and fighting with a sense of entitlement, e.g., how the F’k do you show up 9lbs over the limit?!? for the “strongest test of his career” i give Gonzalez a “D”. Posted September 2, 2012 12:05 pmcoonerGonzález looked pretty lame. Why is he getting all of this attention? Posted September 2, 2012 12:04 pmJuggernautgonzalez is a bump. Posted September 2, 2012 12:00 pmsrminimoMantequilla should stay away from the butter. It’s a disgrace to show up for a pro fight 9 pounds overweight, then fight with no intensity whatsoever and basically let a fight you should have dominated slip by. Especially when you’re 15 fights into your career and should be hungry for the top. So save your excitement for when he really shows us something, like his abs… Posted September 2, 2012 10:55 am |
