This layout is BS.

The fight was a pick-em. Beltran ate a lot of jabs late. I can see giving him the belt though. I would love to see a rematch.

hey ESB…there’s an old saying. Goes like this…”if it ain’t broken don’t fix it”. There were a ton of sites I refused to go to because it looked like yours does now

of the top-10 P4P fighters cited by Ring Magazine, only Marquez and perhaps the multi-dimensional Mayweather can be credited for remembering to attack the body, which works out to 20%. see what i mean about “experts”? when they’re not shilling and scoring the Marquez v. Pacquiao* bout for Pacquiao*(?!?!?!?), they embarrass themselves further by questioning the knowledge of REAL fight-fans . . .

MMENDOZA, thanks but it’s not even that original a point. it’s one of the first things i learned as a fight-fan but i think it’s beyond simply fear of leaving oneself open. it apparently takes a degree of dedication and commitment that too many fighters decline to apply but i’ll tell you one thing: a dedicated body-attack can elevate just about any fighters potency by at least 25%, e.g., the primary reason Chavez Jr. has a legit shot v. the likes of Martinez is because of his dedication and seamless application of a body-attack.

Te Tumbo: Yes, you made a great point about the body shots and how they can be game-changers. Could it be that most boxers are afraid to leave themselves open while trying to execute body shots? Wow, this is the most distracting, ugliest, and freakiest format I’ve seen just yet.

This site is ruined and if it gonna be like this in the future, I will probebly not visit it much more becuse the look and design i awfull and to complex to like and for the matter to use. Bring back the original look becuse we who have been here sence the start loved the original look that have worked for years and why fix something that ain’t broke? Bring back the old desig right now, and NO we will not accept this new look no matter what.

Well, the difference with Khan is that Lundy can actually come back after being knocked down in a fight.

new layout? not a fan, either. not as immediate or efficient. prefer the free-flowing dynamism of the previous one. this one is relatively unwieldy compared to that one.

despite the consistent and sometimes dramatic evidence of the effectiveness of bodyshots, i’m just as consistently perplexed at how frequently it’s not incorporated into a fighter’s fight-plan. 4-6 solid bodyshots a round become game-changers in the middle and late-rounds. they’re also critical equalizers in terms of overcoming a talent deficit and EVERYbody knows this but apparently 80% of active fighters(?). go figure.

Agreed. The new layout … not a fan. Bring back the old layout.

This new layout has to go. It takes me a minute to load the page. The comment section is useless. This web site is a blast from the past, 1995 all over again.
