they don’t give a feck about fan… its only money…. don’t you get that yet

“Pacquiao-Marquez 95 percent finished…” That’s okay. I’m 100 percent certain I won’t be watching the fight. Ever. Here’s what’s going on, folks: Pacquiao will NOT fight again for a title. He fights only for money now–that’s why he’s having a 4th bout with Marquez. Pacquiao will retire after this fight. Wait and see.

Absolutely NOT paying for this on PPV.. Keep dreaming Arum…

Bull… I’m a bigger fan of Pacquiao than I am of Floyd, but Floyd knows he’d win that fight and make a fortune. I don’t think Pacquiao is afraid of losing either, but Bob Arum is. That’s why the fight hasn’t been made yet, if it ever does get made. The quote you’re using was regarding allegations of steroids. It’s like saying Obama said you “didn’t build that” – if you take a quote out of context it can mean whatever you want it to.

the public

Marquez deserves this shot. Pac and him are basically the same level so we will see a barnburner again. Marquez by career defining KNOCKOUT.

Manny Pacquioa makes Marquez rich and famous. Marquez was nobody before the fought Manny Pacquioa. See, last year marquez fought a Mexican fighter in Mexico and he received only $100,000 and nobody seemed interested. However, his previous fights with Manny Pacquioa, he received over $1 million of the first fight; $2.5 million for the second fight; and over $5 million for the third fight. Marquez and his family shouldn’t be so upset after losing twice to a better Man and Champ, but to thank him for changing their lives and their childrens’ lives forever.

@whiteman in denial ali was truly the greatest , Your username tells what a low class you are. And worse, your comments even lower your low class to bottom class. All fans around the world, except floydiots, accept the fact that Floyd has been d.u.c.k.i.n.g Manny Pacquioa. Floyd, himself, also admitted that that he is afraid of Manny Pacquioa with his own words, “I am concerned of my health if I fight Manny Pacquioa. Boxing is a very dangerous sport and one punch can end your whole career. Self preservation.” Yes, this quote came directly from Floyd’s mouth, not anybody else’s. Concerned of his health if he fights Manny Pacquioa? Why is he not concerned of his health if he fights other cherry-picked and tomatoe oppoents? Floyd’s right, one punch can end his career. Also, he is right again that the best way to protect himself is “self preservation.” Also, when one boxer keeps making all kinds of nonsense excuses, one after another, for over three years, it tells people that he is afraid. And yes, he is truly SCARED!

4th fight for what? For money? Oh My God! Manny Pacquioa has BEATEN Marquez TWICE (tied once)!!! Pacquioa is willing to beat Marquez for the third time, and Marquez is willing to get beaten again for money? Enough is enough.

I feel no excitement when i think about Pac vs Cotto again, that is over and done, (and i love Cotto). Well the Bradley thing is also over and done, at least for my part. The one I still get excited about is not going to happen yet another time around I guess. So its sort of Marquez left, (please correct me if you have anybody else around in mind). Mayby, (probably), i´m just reaching for a straw when I felt that the last time with Marquez, Pac hold something back, so maybe something fresch is going to happen this time, thats what i´m telling my self anyway. (I think all three past fights could could have gone eather way, I reward the offensive fighter more, thats just how I see and enjoy boxing).

im in the minority, but i had the 1st fight a draw, the 2nd fight was a great fight but i thought pac clearly won, and the 3rd fight i thought marquez clearly won. so i have it all even up and enjoyed every fight so its fine with me that they get it on. but we all know what is really goin on here. Arum dint want pac to fight bradley again cause if he destroys bradley where does bradley go? Now he can bill bradley as the man that beat pac, and he can milk pac for all he has left caus pac doesnt need a title to be a draw. And when he thinks he has got all he can get out of him he is gonna throw him to mayweather for one last huge payday. Then he is gonna cherry pick his new undefeated champ in bradley and i hate that cause i think bradley is a true warrior too bad he has sold his soul to the devil.

I hope the PPV bombs.

I agree with Caveman regarding Marquez winning the fights but not getting the decision. I honestly believe that Marquez knows that this will be his last shot at Pacquaio and will put on the best performance of his career-totally beating Pacquaio. Arum knows this too. He knows that Pacquaio’s career is through and now he’ll throw him to the wolves and abandon him. Once again, if Arum is REALLY interested in making money, then Mayweather is his only option.

Manny is as dumb as they come! He don’t win this fight by KO he will not win at all. His career will be over. Mayweather will have been vindicated of all his criticism and accusations. Bob Arum will have literally chocked every penny he can get for himself out of pac and Manny will be sent packing back to the PI. Hope he has saved some of the money Bob has allowed him to keep. Manny will need it. I WILL NOT pay a penny to see this fight!

Posted September 4, 2012 9:34 am

The decision will get announced after Chavez Jr’s fight. Arum would not want to divert the conversation from this weekend’s fight.

Posted September 4, 2012 9:03 am

what a crapper, maybe after another close fight they can go for a fifth time!

Posted September 4, 2012 8:16 am

I hope and pray Marquez gets another shot at Manny. IMO Marquez won all 3 fights. Especially fight #2.
