Zab didn’t beat Matthysse… He lost that fight by 5 rounds.. He was knocked down, beaten up, and allowed to grab and run like crazy to get through the last 2 rounds. He barely made it. Zab’s face was all beaten up and Matthysse didn’t have a mark on him.. The decision was the worst joke since Holyfield was awarded a draw with Lewis.. Just a flat out robbery.

HC, Zab did beat Mathyese. He is a good fighter with a lot of skill, but somehow, some way he breaks down. I think this will be a good fight, and Zab is going to give it all he’s got. I just don’t want to see him give up along the way. If he’s not too old and doesn’t break, yeah he could beat Garcia, but I don’t see it happening.

hope Zab’s in good shape, he needs to get to Garcia early or he’s in trouble

HC – don’t agree with your comparison of ” Not so Super” Zab to the Goldenboy. Paez, JJ Molina, Ruelas, Miguel Angel Gonzales, JCC, Whitaker, Quartey, Gatti, Vargas, Mayorga, Trinidad(robbery), Mosley2 ( PEDs), over 6 divisions is one hell of an achievement if you have been watching boxing in the past 20 years or so you should know that. Only real losses were to Legends, fellow P4P champions & HOFmers : Hopkins ( Middleweight), Mayweather ( jnr Middleweight), Mosley ( welterweight)? & Pacman. With a record like this I feel it is more losing to a better man than choking, Oscar always gave his all, the man was a great boxer, entertainer and HOFmer. Oscar took on all the best fighters of his generations except Cotto, and that would have been a hella of a fight. The Goldenboy had balls behind those fishnets, don’t get it twisted.

HC

Um No. Devon Alexander has a gift victory over him…one that was definitely not deserved. Mathysse started very slow against Judah and it cost him. He lost that one.

“Judah…does own a legit victory over Lucas Mathysse” HC. Judah owns an Official victory over Mathysse. But that is different from a legit win. Mathysse deserved that one. Judah was up & down even in his prime. Judah won’t like the pressure & eventually will fold. Judah chance is to hurt Garcia & finish or hold it together for 12 rounds of boxing. Garcia has a jaw & Judah has never fought for a full 12. The man can’t hold focus for that long.

HC

HecDog i agree with you that Judah does is a fantastic choke artist…he’s up there with Oscar but lets give Judah credit…he does own a legit victory over Lucas Mathysse and he does deserve props for that…it was a close fight but he did win…

Judah is all talk. He has plenty of skill, but mentally he caves in when things don’t go his way. He’s one of the most skillful boxers I have seen, but the number one choker of all time. He has a very immature fighting mentality and can’t handle adversity in any way. He always looks for a way out. This fight will be no different. Judah will look great fro 3-5 rounds, and then you’ll see him slowly break away like a Pringles chip. In the end, he will take a beating and lose a UD or get stopped. He should retire.

Posted April 25, 2013 1:19 pm

HC

Garcia is slow, flat footed, and keeps his left hand low in order to get more leverage when he throws his left hook. Watch the Khan fight he was getting hit with everything before he connected. Zab should be able to easily outbox him and make him look bad. However this is Zab we’re talking about and as much as i would like to see him knock Danny out (just to shut Angel Garcia up) he will probably lose focus after the 5th or 6th round and boom its done…

Canelo vs Cotto… small snack. No brainer.

PE- Still mad that Canelo won…lol.

Easy money

Don’t get all worked out buddy, I’m just sayin it how it is and so are many others. It’s obvious Garcia is going to beat Jdah and if you didn’t know, Garcia is the favorite in this match. EASY MONEY!!!

Tomato Can

Zab has a way of melting away in big fights. Which is not something world champions are usually known for. This fight is an easy call for Garcia. Zab will probably out shine him for 4 rounds, then grow weary from the pressure and melt down, in one way or another. That’s really to bad, though cause he has the speed and technique to cause Garcia lots of problems. Garcia TKO in 8….

TARK

The only reason for Canelo to fight Cotto would be to separate himself from Trout and Mayweather and their performances against Cotto.. If he could beat Cotto up and stop him that would get a little separation.

But all the Cinnamon Kid needs to do is attend the Mayweather-Guerrero fight — and jump into the ring after Floyd takes care of Guerrero… He’s next anyway so he doesn’t have to beat up Cotto.

Judah is going to get trashed. He says “Know what I’m saying?” more than Sergie Liakhovich says “You know” or Joe Calzaghe says, “At the end of the day.” Learn how to talk.

easy money – but a Canelo vs a past his prime smaller cotto win for Canelo would make him the greatest fighter on the planet for you Mexicans??? LOL what fkn idiots.

Let me see, Garcia facing an old past his prime Judah……I’m guessing Garcia knocks him out around the 10th round and I’m not even an expert but there’s my pick. Hopefully after this we see Garcia step it up and fight a real fighter.

I’ll say it again, if Swift does not get caught with Zabs uppercut before round 6, Garcia will start walking him down and Zab will find a way out. Pressure Pressure Pressure = Wilt Wilt Wilt.

I made the mistake of picking Judah over Khan. that was the last time I pick Judah over any halfway decent fighter. I like Garcia by k.o.

Does anyone know if its being broadcast in the UK? Got Martinez v Murray on BoxNation but can’t find Garcia v Judah :(

Chicken Dance 2 coming your way

Zab is a mental midget, he’s been “broken” mentally by lesser fighters than Garcia (Baldomir & Clottey), if he can’t hurt or stop his opponent within the first 4-6 rounds, he FOLDS like a lounge chair. I’m going with Garcia via TKO.

Posted April 24, 2013 1:22 pm

murderman

I hope Zab can pull this one out. Im rooting for him. But Garcia has been on a tear lately! Garcia by late tko. 8th or 9th rd prob!

Zab is a knob head, swifty will smash another chicken dance on to him.

Actually go with zab too ,but that win will have to come within 6 rounds. zab stop being explosive after that as i see it. as I said think garcia is a good champ for him to finally beat and get back in the picture ,look forwar to this fight

Shadow Brawler

Zab by TKO.. Too much hand speed and power for Garcia.. Zab is bringing his A game for this one. Talent and focus wins fights…

I don’t think so, all Garcia has to do it put pressure on Zab, stay close and watch Zabs uppercut. If Garcia can weather the first 6 rounds, Zab will wilt going into the deep. Oh Yeah, YOU KNOW WHAT I’M SAYING?

OCTAVIUS72

I’m going with Judah on this one. If he fights smart and box and gives this Kid angles; I don’t see him losing this fight. Garcia is flat footed and relies on his power to get him out of trouble. Zab has the ability to outsmart this kid and win by unanimous decision or possibly stop him. I just hope he box smart and not allow the moment to get away from him.

Judah is getting knocked out.

Prize Fighter

I beleive it’s going to be a good fight. Zab has speed and pop with expierence especially in the first 4 or so rounds, then he becomes a different fighter. If I was Zab I would utilize the jab and move using foot work and angles for the first couple of rounds to feel out Danny and win rounds. If the knock out comes it comes, but he has to play it smart.

Danny has to utilize space effectively in order to neutralize Zab’s offense and make him pay with counters. He cannot let Zab swing and not pay a price as well as he needs to be using a mixed attack of head and body shots. Zab does not like body shots and Danny should hit his gut frequently as best as he can and wear him down and when he is hurt punish him to the mid section and then uppercut him to the gut and follow up with crosses and straight punches as Zab will guard for hooks’

Let’s see what happends, I hope no one is seriously hurt in this fight.

If Zab does not win in the first 4 rounds he will be stopped. Taking Garcia by stoppage also

Prize Fighter

Zab needs to stop chasing down Angel Garcia & Danny Garcia in unrelated events looking to intimidate. I believe he believes he has to do this in order to get an edge in the fight. Zab they signed up to fight you because they have some confidence they are going to win, all your doing is giving the young man more motivation to fight smart and win. I believe the best thing to do is get prepared, leave the dudes alone and get your hands up in the fight, because mentally it can back fire on you. Meaning that you want to think they fear me or whatever fanatasy you want to imagine in your mind, but when the counters come and there is no fear in your opponent going forward, mentally you have prepared yourself with “they are scared” and guess what then they are not and you get knocked down and your mind set is gone, can anyone say take a knee. It has happened before it can happened again.
