Wilder by end of round 4. I dont think Harrison will like the right hand. Harrison may mess him about for a few rounds but I dont expect him to win at all.

The interest in this fight isn’t really about Audley, very few pundits will be tuning in to see what Audley has left, we’ve all seen what Audley at his best can produced………… he can KO Danny Williams!
What people REALLY want to see is whether Wilder is the “Real Deal”……or whether his critics will be proved right about him being the “KO King” hype job.
I for one want to see a good performance from Wilder, because it will bring more excitement to the heavyweight division if Wilder can confirm his place to mix it at a higher level.
If Audley pulls off an upset, there will be less interest, because we already know that Audley isn’t a contender….. whether he beats Wilder or not.
Incidentally I rather doubt that beating Wilder would put Audley in line for a world title clash. The K brothers rarely give heavyweights that have previously lost badly a shot at their belts……so that already rules out Audley!!

TARK

Wilder would have murdered Joe Bugner… Bigger, taller, faster, stronger, much harder punching, and one Hell of a lot funnier.

Announcer to Marvis (9-0) Frazier: “Did Bugner give you any problems?”

Marvis: “Not really Tom. Bugner is big, tall, and a good absorber, but he’s very easy to hit and I didn’t feel any of his punches. He’s a good name and I’ll keep moving up. Now I’m 10-0 so we’ll be looking for stiffer competition.”

Audley looks good. But wilder is a monster.

As a uk fan I can safely say that Audley is the biggest dissappointment in boxing, superb skills, handspeed, good power and southpaw to boot but scared of getting hit with a poor chin mean he is an accident waiting to happen. No good in the pro’s being a good boxer if you are a bad fighter! He is more talented than Wilder but have a feeling he will get demolished the first time he gets hit as he panics and goes back in a straight line making hima sitting duck for a powerful right hand.

Timber! Confidence alone should carry the day for Wilder. If this were one of those Prizefighter competitions you guys have in England, maybe Audley would take it. He’s got an uncanny knack for winning those. But I expect Wilder to detonate a right hand on Audley’s chin sometime in the first couple rounds. Too bad I won’t be able to catch it live…

Wilder IS untested, but those who think Audley is gonna be the one to test him don’t know wht they are talking about.

Imo Wilder hits harder than Price and he doesn’t really lunge in and give his height up like Price did against Thompson. I think Audley gets flattened early, maybe the 2nd round, he’ll be on borrowed time as soon as the bell rings.

what did wilder yell after weigh in.

BEARS

Because wilder is in garbage matchups. I ask why are weeven hearing about wilder til he fights better matchups? Please not one more article on wilder. What? Has he taken the afro american reigns for mitchel now that mitchel has been revealed to be utter garbage? If anyone is taking those reigns it should be jennings. Who had a sweet fight with tuapapoo and who is trying to land any big name fights from klitschko down and has power in both hands. Wilder should try to learn a thing or two about matchmaking from jennings. And the wilder nuthuggers please shutup and refrain from requesting more wilder tripe. Dude seriously needs to step up. Audleys garbage

“How is this match-up not getting more hype?” – Because it’s a typical prospect vs faded veteran match up, not a big fight.

Hosteen, Audley Harrison is 41 years old, not 40.

Boxtradamus is arrogant and frequently wrong. He predicted that Rios would beat Alvarado in their first fight and that Donaire would beat Rigondeaux… and now he predicts that Harrison will win by UD. Well, if he does, good for you, but that does not remove the fact that you are wrong more frequently than you are right… and if Wilder wins, you will most probably make excuses or outright lie, claiming that you had predicted a Wilder victory. Grow up.

Hosteen

WHY is this encounter so intriguing?? Wilder has never fought anyone who has been remotely any threat to him and Harrison was never ever a terror of any kind in his prime and now that he is 40 yo, what exactly is the intrigue?

Although I will never forget how Audley took a dive vs. Haye, I still support him in this fight. War, Audley!
