Johnson fought Holumon. At the press conference they all kind of agreed the two winners would face each other which means Browne vs Johnson but I doubt it. It would be a real test for Browne but I doubt he will accept. Johnson is too quick and slick for him.

And why the hell wasn’t Browne fighting Johnson instead of Toney? At least Johnson isn’t totally shot yet and has some skills. That fight would at least shown us if Browne has any hope for advancement up the ranks.

anon…Yes this shows hvwt. boxing is lacking overall.Guys like Wach who is 32 went for a title shot fought no one and was built up briefly as a legit fighter who was tough and big and was some type of decent fight against k-bro.Price at 29 fought no one cant fight on his back foot, and was/is looked at as the hvwt. saviour.Povitkin no young gun really lost to a cruiser aviods fighters and is a top guy in the div…what did he really do so far???I been watching boxing since the late 60s and never did I see so many guys so old who done nothing overall and still looked upon as top guys…and many duck the top fights at ripe old age still waiting.LOL…some of these guys are near retirement age yet they are still up and comers…fighting no one.Yes this shows alot about the scene.

I dont think Travis Walker will fight in Australia again after he smashed Lepai and was totally robbed. Worst stoppage ever

There was talk at the press conference of the win or Brown vs Toney and Kevin Johnson vs Holomu fighting each other. It would be an interesting matchup to see Johnson vs Browne. I think Browne would get UDed comfortably unless the aussie judging saves him.

I reckon Browne should push to challenge Commonwealth champion David Price this year.

WBF (the most prized belt) Champ

Hahaha Even a small (population) country like Australia is kicking the USA heavyweights around like school yard bullies. Oh how far have the USA heavyweights fallen? Toney beat Holyfield who beat Tyson who beat Holmes who beat Ali. Browne is obviously ‘The Greatest’ that any mere mortals will ever see in a boxing ring. ‘The Greatest’ Lucas ‘Big Daddy’ Browne. Heehee.

For a reality check Browne might want to consider an American journeyman like Travis Walker as his next opponent. Walker ain’t afraid to travel to an opponent’s back yard and I bet he’;d whoop this fool fairly handily.

I should hope he’s not getting carried away. Beating today’s obese old version of Toney is not worth bragging about. Hard to believe he even made cruiser less than a year ago.

Never thought Id hear the saying up and coming at the age of 34..lol.This does show that the hvwt. div. is lacking overall when guys between the ages of 28-35 are still infants and fought no one.

Mago and Browne are the two up and comers who should be watched carefully.
