JOHN

OK, I don’t know where you are but this SHOW will cost me $70.00 to watch. I am an AVID boxing fan and USUALLY do not miss a fight, I even join those crappy Euro live feeds to catch decent fights like I had to do to see Froch-Bute which to me was a shame that it wasn’t picked up by a US network, anyway here’s my point.

Floyd Mayweather’s fights are so predictable that its almost boring. He is carefully, carefully matched so that he doesn’t lose his (0). This “Money Team” isn’t just a bunch of hang ons that do whatever he says and walk around making hand signs and singing etc…like a bunch of jackasses ……thats for TV.

This guy is a corporate cash cow. There are great business minds behind him. Those minds know that as the (0) starts to turn to a 1 or 2 or 3 so does the billions of dollars in revenue flowing into Vegas each time he fights.

This time, though, I won’t part with $70.00 and as much as I want to see it and can afford it, I feel like I’m putting money directly into Floyds pocket and helping SHO cover his new 6 fight contract so I’ll pass on this one.

You know he’ll win and it will be on SHO for free in a few weeks so it really doesn’t matter. If it were a competative fight instead of Kahn or Gurerro I’d spend the 70.00 . After Kahn & Gurerro, who are the other 4 in his 6 fight contract ? Who’s left thats slower, past prime, old, has no chin, can’t hurt him ?

He can’t go up to Martinez, Golovkin, Zinzuriuck, these guys are too big. He won’t go down to fight as evidenced by his 20 lb weight difference in the Marquez fight.(which he paid Marquez to still fight) Manny is still too dangerous. Too many question marks there. He’s too good for Broner, who I think is a “flash-in’the pan” ….BRADLEY ?
Tim may win……can’t go there. Ortiz again ? There ain’t much left.

BUT…back to my point. I used to go to Yankees games until it started to cost 200-300.00 for a game between tickets, parking, food, etc…. I’m not making 30 Million a year and will not line A-Rods pockets , its gone out of control. Even Golf- a lousy off beat PGA tournament on Long Island would be $75.00 for general admission ? PER PERSON ! Close to $400.00 to bring a family …without eating , tolls, gas, etc….

Athletes are pricving themselves out of jobs !!!!

Guerrero better bring his gun or his rascal dad will have to scrape him off the floor.

PEEJ

Don’t see Guerrero winning this. If he is not able to hold Floyd’s head and hit him at the same time then he looses this fight clearly

Guerrero pulls off the upset as I’ve stated before. People are in for a surprise.

Tomato Can

it’s kind of hard to pick Guerrero to beat Maywether, when Mayweather hasn’t even really lost many round in his career. I’m waiting for the weigh in before I make my actual prediction, but for not I have Mayweather via UD or late TKO.

You need to get to the buffet early because once that pig dives into it, there is nothing left but dry bones. He cleans out the place like a Hoover!!!

My brother-in-law just told me that Mayweather’s tour bus was smashed to pieces on the freeway?

Not sure how true this yet.

khan doesn’t have a chance to fight mayweather unless he starts looking real good in his next probably 3-4 fights for mayweather to even accept his friend request on facebook…yezzzir!

yall are straight tripping! guerror will NEVER beat floyd! Someone will beat him soon i think but not guerroro. I like guerroro he is tough durable decent skills and power but not enough for may. Pac CANT beat floyd! Hell he cant beat Marquez and floyd murdered him! Now Canelo is the guy. But floyd wont fight him unless he can sucker canelo into coming down to 147! Then Floyd has a shot to beat canelo

I would love to see him in the squared box against bradley too and my man marquez don’t want it anymore but arum owns bradley and in no way will he allow that fight, but think about this he has 6 fights on his contract so he will make some challenging fights but then i believe he also is going to have a few gimme fights that ppl. arent going to agree with feeling the prey is sacrificial lambs in there as well but just know they all will have some kind of star power or hot at that moment for mayweather to fight them he doesn’t just fight nobodies n thats just stating fact…yeezzir!

Mayweather will get TKO’d. He and pac will finally fight and get destroyed.

True. But Trout nor Canelo will come down to 147. So that leaves Pac, Bradley, Marquez etc… I hope no amir khan. I just said Trout because he has a name and his confidence is shaky and he looked really beatable

Posted May 1, 2013 3:10 pm

malachi

why would he fight trout, trout just lost his belt to canelo, if anybody in the 154 lbs id say it should be canelo, but i say floyd most comfortable weight is at 147 and he should champagne there if anybody wants to dare be great and get the biggest pay day of their entire life then go get em he shouldn’t be chasing noone at this point he’s paid his dues and shouldn’t be chasing anybody he’s the cash cow and earned that spot but that’s just me…yezzzir!

murderman

floyd by late ko or brutal ud. Lets hope next fight he steps up competition. Trout will be a perfect opponent. He is credible and his confidence maybe a lil shaky after a lost. Plus his lack of power shouldnt scare mayweather even though he is a skilled southpaw. just a thought. But may needs to step it up. im a fan but may not be too much longer

malachi

what a lot of you fail to remember is that mayweather fights best at welterweight he’s a 147 pound fighter but not just that this is the reighning # 1 best fighter in the business today he’s never been heavier in any fight before the cotto one,the further the ghost fights into this fight the more dangerous it becomes ,if he’s not knocked out in the earlier rounds or get extremely lucky n catch money may with something bananas its going to be a long night for robert with accuracy ring smarts and speed ,hes going to get chopped to pieces and probably walked down n finished .roberts going to try the dirty tactics and have to pay for them in one way or the other….um jus sayn!!
