the 12th round of the Chavez jr. vs. Martinez fight was the beginning of the end for Martinez in my opinion. Chavez Jr. apparently felt that Murry beat Sergio, and is planning to fight Murry in his come back bout in Mexico city.

Geale will beat Kid chocolate….he’s very unorthodox and 2 busy….what’s GGG doing…? All his fans think he’s the nxt big thing and no1 wants 2 fight him. No noise from him when the other champs r wanting fights. It’s easy 2 look gd when fighting picking guys from a weight 2 below who aren’t in ur league.

Martinez is ready to be dethrowned IMO. I thought he struggled against Barker, Macklin, and Murray……………… He trained his heart out for the Chaves fight and it showed. Quillin has already been KOd by Golovkin in sparring, and he will not go near him again. Quillin vs Geale would be competitive, with either Quilins eye catching flash, or Geales workrate winning it. Geale isnt great but hes a fearless warrior who will fight anyone anywhere.

So Quillin is ready to unify the titles…..except not against Sergio Martinez because he’s out for the rest of the year and not against Daniel Geale because Top Rank and Goldenboy don’t work together. Kind of spoils the story doesn’t it. This is like a weather report saying “It’s going to be a fine sunny day except that it’s also going to rain”

D J Gaz: I’m in 100% agreement regarding Geale, The WBA showed there true colours by stripping him of the title. However to decide who’s #1 @ 160Lb the division needs unification, unfortunately it looks like S.G.Martinez will be out of action until 2014, so Geale/Quillin looks the best fight out there with the winner to fight Golovkin.

The Low Blow

Quillin vS Geale is a better match up !

Quillan fights Geale in 3 months time… Golovkin/Macklin fights Martinez..winners fight each other for the undisputed title….

Peej I agree bud, Martnez is WAY overrated and really lost his last fight, It was frankly pathetic seeing him whip the crowd into a frenzy of Argentina chants while the judges were totting up the points, he obviously knew it was tight and was pressuring the judges to go his way. I cant wit to see him getting KO’D.

funny thing……every time Quillin talks about looking for a fight……he never remember Golovkins name. I wonder why that is???? LOLOL

Martinez will never fight GGG or Kid Chocolate. His resume is full of B fighters and any A fighter to challenge him he comes up with a lame excuse.

Quillin, GGG & Martinez – any comination would make a great fight or fights… I’d love to see a unified champ at middleweight

somerset – geale is most definitely more accomplished than golovkin. the only thing that favours GGG is punching power, but that would not help him in a bout with geale who is very elusive and has a superb chin. geale would box ggg’s ears off en route to a 118=110 ud

FEARS

When Quillin first hit the world scene a few years ago somewhat impressed, but since then, he has improved noticeably in every fight. Now, I think he is alongside Martinez at the top of the division. Kid Chocolate has emerged as a total package and he will have a hard time finding fights from here on out. I would love to see him fight GGG and/or Chavez Jr. I think Martinez would be wise to stay away from Quillin. I’m not saying that Quillin beats Maravilla, but I’m just saying……..

No way is Geale more accomplished than Golovkin

It is one of the best ideas since the unification in Hopkins time. It is time to have a tournament like in the Super middleweight division. Let’s these promoters allow their respective champion risk the title against another title.

He’s gonna be exposed sooner than later when he goes against sombody who can neutralize that power, this gurrero kid didn’t have enough defense to keep kid chocolate at bay he couldn’t get out of the way of those hay makers but he was boxing pretty good against quillian before the stars spinning and stoppage ..yezzir!
