REALLY disappointed! I had high hopes for him. Just another idiot American boxer. Classy to apologize to England, how about your woman?Posted June 1, 2013 3:08 pm
Don’t worry Deontay, we understand. We hope you don’t go to jail.Posted May 15, 2013 4:34 pm
Wilder should have fought better comp. After 28 fights his best opponent is a totally shot 41 year old Audley?Posted May 14, 2013 3:47 am
Wilder could and should have fought better comp. After 28 fights the best name on his record is a totally shot 41 year old Audley Harrison, a fighter who even at his best was only a fringe contender. Putting it in perspective, its like beating a shot Jesse Furguson.Posted May 14, 2013 3:46 am
Wilder is chomping at the bit… He’s been after a fight like this for 2 years… They held him back. If he destroys Chisora in 9 or less he gets Wladimir … Look at this photo.. Wilder can look more sinister than Sonny Liston when he puts on his mean face.. Poor Chisora.Posted May 13, 2013 8:44 pm
Reckon Wilder probably doesnt actualy WANT the fight, after all Chisora, the fellow woman beater, actually has a pulse and comes to fight, unlike the 28 body bags Wilder has ”fought” previously!Posted May 13, 2013 6:35 pm
So Wilder’s a wife beater. He didn’t seem the type. I’ve been critical of his comp but was still a fan because I like his upside and he seemed to have character.Posted May 13, 2013 6:33 pm
WladPosted May 13, 2013 6:23 pm
Wlal will maul WilderPosted May 13, 2013 6:18 pm
esb is the pits, garbage articals like this one, classy deontay wilder??? because he apologised! heavyweight woman beater!
Chissy will win this fight easily if it goes ahead
FW has been a bit back handed with the premature announcementPosted May 13, 2013 10:38 am
Battle of the women bashers would have been a good fight. Thompson Price rematch will get fun. Hope mago fights someone good and Lucas Browne and Perez.Posted May 13, 2013 7:03 am
Chisora vs Wilder – battle of the women beaters . . . Classy it is not.Posted May 13, 2013 6:56 am
Apology not accepted.
We have zero interest in this windmilling muppet.Posted May 13, 2013 2:57 am
Wilder needs to worry bout his legal issues! He is facing some serious charges!Posted May 13, 2013 2:23 am
…..”Chisora just has to make sure he fights the right kind of guys that are more suited to his style.” He’s has losses to Robert Helenius, David Haye, Vitali Klitschko and Tyson Fury.. They are all tremendous punchers and Wilder is another big bomber.
So he should fight Eddie Chambers, and Tomasz Adamek??? Good luck getting those fights … along with getting paid what he’s made for facing the 4 hitters.Posted May 12, 2013 8:27 pm
Sorby writes…, “It’s one of those fights where both guys have an equal shot of winning.” Hmmm.. Chisora fought much better fighters – but that doesn’t mean it’s an even fight.. Wilder should get a few more rounds in than he normally does – before Chisora falls victim to the Bomb Squad.Posted May 12, 2013 8:15 pm
woman beater like Floyd….its ok chisora is no better…u be scum togetherPosted May 12, 2013 8:08 pm
hell traveling these days is a mess. If you have a DUI you can not even visit our neighbor Canada. Ironically if you have a felony you can’t visit Australia, which was settled by convicts.Posted May 12, 2013 8:03 pm
the alabama jackass aka the windmill better watch out chomper chisora just might kick his assPosted May 12, 2013 7:28 pm
Wilder is not ready for this fight. Even though he won quickly the last time out it wasn’t impressive. He was so off balance most of the time he almost looked like he was going to knock himself down. I would loved to seen the odds on this one. I know people are screaming to see Wilder step it up more but he isn’t ready. Still doesn’t do some basic stuff right.Posted May 12, 2013 5:14 pm
Jail will just fine for this crude dude. Choking the woman should bring him a good chance to think things over and plan his next fight in 2033.Posted May 12, 2013 5:11 pm
Your right mate, I,m strangling two as I type this.Posted May 12, 2013 4:05 pm
i am sure his stock in the UK went up with fans there after he choked a woman. UK thugs love that stuff.Posted May 12, 2013 4:02 pm
Deontay should have contacted my brother-in-law. He’s been beating his wife for 32 years and has not been arrested once yet – he hasn’t even lost his right to have dozens of firearms. Of course it helps that the sheriff is his buddy.Posted May 12, 2013 3:41 pm
Deontay should fight a guy like Mitchell or walker in the US. Why does Chisora need to travel? Would like to see more of Wilder but there are loads of guys out there for himPosted May 12, 2013 3:38 pm
Wife-beating and class are not connected.Posted May 12, 2013 3:36 pm
Well I’m starting to smell something funky. It could be just a coincident that in his actual step up fight against a live fighter being canceled because of Wilder choking a woman while he thought was robbing him. Why not ask Chrisora to come to the US?Posted May 12, 2013 2:53 pm
You would have to be an idiot to connect Wilder with the K-bros at this time of his career…He’s gonna have to learn how to Crawl and Walk before he can Run…That starts with his promotor taking some chances there are plenty of tough fighters he could fight instead….Not top contenders…but name-fighters….top 15 to top 30 kind of fighters…Posted May 12, 2013 2:37 pm
It would have been a good match-up just to see if Wilder could handle someone semi-decent regarding ring skills and experience. Personally I do not want to see Chisora fight either Klitchko as the result will be the same but probably much worse for Chisora the second time around if it happens.
At this point in Wilder’s career, he should really stay away from either Klitchko or it may be a career-ending fight.Posted May 12, 2013 2:28 pm
Guy is accussed of serious crime with a possible prison sentence ahead and he “showed his class” by writing he wouldn’t be able to go to UK ???
Jeff Sorby u r a plain moron!
What happened to the old “innocent until proven guilty”? Isn’t that how it’s supposed to be in America? This isn’t the 1800s, is it?Posted May 12, 2013 2:27 pm
The words Class and domestic battery are a little too close in this article….Not bashing on Deontay..Because i’m sure he’s sincere..But the writer should have known better and used another word…Posted May 12, 2013 2:22 pm
I was well up for this fight.
So many unanswered questions about Deontay, and this fight would have given us a better indication as to how good he is.
Such a shame, and I hope it happens in the near future.
Whats the latest on what deontay actually did?
All I know is he possibly strangled someone?Posted May 12, 2013 2:14 pm
