Mikkel , we really don’t care. Retire now and save yourself and us the trouble. Take Froch with you.

Look, I can’t see Froch winning on points, against a much better boxer, who matches Froch in toughness. So Carl will have to come out swinging, at some point, and I agree, this is where he risks getting clipped, by a natural counter puncher, in Kessler. Thing is that a logical scenario, often does not happen, in boxing. Lots of factors, can come into play.

I think it is too early, for Froch, to talk about Hopkins and Ward fights, remembering that Kessler is no Bute. I actually think that Kessler, now, is at his best.

Froch is a great brawler, and he is better technically, than some people give him credit for, with those long arms.

But the problem is that there is no way, Froch can win on points, against a much better boxer. So he will have to come out swinging, at some point, and I agree, this is when he will get clipped, by a classic counter puncher, in Kessler.

The way Kessler fought, in the first fight, I had not seen before, he was being a brawler, where he is a technical boxer, in essence. I hope he goes back to his natural style, now that he is injury free.

Get ready to see Froch getting KO’ed this time. No way Froch can win on point, unless somthing stinks. Kessler is a tecnical better fight and Froch should Know. So Froch will have to attack with everything he has, and thats where the punishment comes in. Kessler on KO in round 7.

Froch is gonna get knocked off the high horse he’s been on since the Bute and Mack fights… He’s gonna get reckless and get clipped! I think kessler has a really good chance to tko Carl this time, or at the very least another UD!

If Kessler is saying that then he already has 1 foot on the retirement side. Froch may win by late TKO

Kessler shouldnt take it so serious because its for the no2 slot in the division, right i guess the rest of the division should treat their bouts as nothing fights because afterall it wont be for the no1 slot in the division. You then have the cheek to claim Stevenson has a claim at being no2 in the division, no disrespect to Adonis who is a fine fighter but who exactly has he beaten to stake a claim at no2 in a division as stacked as this one. I guess he’s American and that is good enough for you and your petulant dislike for anything not American.

Fight Aficionado

Never a good idea to bet on the guy who threatens to retire if he loses. Froch wins this time, after a close and great first bout. That was a FOY candidate last time, something guys forget.

Varnish – correct sir its a 50/50 fight if not 55/45 in Kessler’s favour, Carl thinks he will win but so does Kessler, I see a brutal war with one close winner but who it will be I dont know, I would have to say Froch with the home advantage.

Both Froch and Kessler are two of the best 168 pound fighters in the world. Both share the #2 spot and exchange places with each other. No doubt that Andre Ward is #1-no question about that.

Stevenson? What? Where do these writers get their information? Stevenson????

@MK – Many straw men in your arguments. Nobody (even Froch fans) think he will win easily. Kessler is not the “worst” match Froch can meet – he is more troubled by fast, elusive guys. As for Froch not beating “anyone good” – what about his demolition of Bute? This will be a tough, bloody war – either guy could prevail. I like Froch this time though – kessler seems diminished by injury and idleness.

Froch vs Kessler is the fight for being SMW number one. This is classic Kessler stuff, one day he thinks about retiring, the next day he feels like a God.

Froch seems to be the heavy favorite, amongst the people, but experts and insiders, know that Kessler is the favorite, he is the worst fighter that Froch can meet.

A lot of english people think that Froch can walk on water that this is an easy 3 rounder, for Froch, they totally forget that Kessler matches Frochs power, Kessler matches Frochs physique, Kessler is a much better boxer, and Kessler has beaten Froch before.

As the viking warrior says himself, if Froch comes swinging in the first round, I will counterpunch him, and end his carreer, fast.

Kessler is a big SMW, who will win even more convincingly this time. Froch has not beat anyone good, since losing to Ward and Kessler.

Kessler has developed into an even better boxer, with knock out power, in both hands. To be honest, I don’t understand how Froch can be the favorite.

If I was Froch, I wouldn’t book a fight with Ward. Stevenson, you are kidding me, hypejob without a doubt.

Yep, Stevensons not even on the radar really when comparing to froch and Kessler. This writer shows his lack of boxing knowledge big time in making such a ridiculous comment.
