El Gallo Negro

I’m not a hater. I think Nick Cannon is okay as a TV host but as a boxing announcer he lacks a strong and or smooth voice. Contrary to some of the opinions here, a boxing announcers job is huge to the event. It can immensely help the build up and provide much-needed electricity to the ambience in the arena. I dont think Nick can provide that just yet.

It’s Me, Ernie…

So Buffer does or doesn’t do a good job? Sounds like just another case of you liking to hear yourself.

Aside from Buffer, Contreras is a very good ring announcer as is Lennon & the guy with the dredlocks. All would have been better choices. This guy makes Dane Cook look like Don Rickles & Mayweather Jr. has better written comedy skits. Thankfully the announcer isn’t in the ring that long so it isn’t that big of a deal.

I think Nick Cannon would make a good announcer; he has the presence.
