popkins, you can’t remember haye pulling out of wladimir in their first propose fight where klitschko had to take chagaev as a replacement.

Wladimir Klitschko knows David Haye will beat almost every HW out there cept for himself and his brother. He reckons Haye is too elusive for almost any HW….

Eh

What’s happened to the quality of writing on ESP? The articles are horribly biased and have the writing style of a 5 year old these days

gray: “where by wlad had every consevable advantage and still only managed a UD by a few rounds and run his ass off”

Bwahahaha. Joke of the day! Excellent humor, gray! That’s really hilarious!

Tell It Like It Is

You have to HAND it to Haye, he seems to have endless excuses for his shortcomings. At least he was TOEIN’ the line and didn’t fall back on the toe excuse. Haye is always playing people to get some kind of personal advantage or gain. You cannot believe what a con man says. You cannot believe what Haye says.

This a well documented injury that initially happened when Haye punched the cardboard cut out of Valuev

Popkins, he pulled out of the Wlad Klit fight with an “injury” back in 2008-2009 ish timeline.

At least his toe is okay.

Wilder isn’t going to be fighting Haye. I agree with Popkins down there, injuries happen. Haye doesn’t really deserve sympathy but this sort of thing happens in boxing. Its a tough sport.

Toe? Hand? Damn he must rue his shattered body and its inability to allow him to take his legacy. Now I’m sure he is injured cos otherwise he would be eating Klits sloppy seconds as a diet. I wish this man would retire, and THIS TIME BE A MAN OF HIS WORD and STAY THAT WAY. Wanker!

Haye must’ve hurt his hand while shaking hands… first his toe… now his hand… what’s next?!?

Posted May 14, 2013 2:23 pm

Ducksoup

I agree with ya Fenners, but i think Haye would get blasted out by Wilder.

Posted May 14, 2013 2:18 pm

Popkins

When was the last time Haye pulled out of a big fight because of an injury?? I can’t think of any instances.

Posted May 14, 2013 2:03 pm

Popkins

This fight was already pay per view on SKY and a sell out in Manchester. Haye makes a packet of money whoever he fights. Only if he fought a Klitschko would he earn more cash. Unless Haye suddenly signs a fight with Vitali, it’s safe to say Haye is actually injured. It’s shame, coz it would have been good to see him blast this guy out of the ring.

Too bad. Haye needs to be active and was doing things the right way by meeting legitimate guys like Chisora and Charr rather than talking his way back to a title shot. I know it is easy to dislike Haye and his performance against Klitschko was poor, but he can knock out anyone he hits and, usually, his fights are exciting, which is exactly what the division lacks. The last thing a fighter on the wrong side of thirty needs is more inactivity.

TARK

Why do people always speculate about a lot of nonsense every time an injury occurs??? Have you ever been injured? Have you ever missed a game because of an injury? It’s tough luck. Haye has had a sprained back.. a broken toe.. and a bum mitt in training for recent fights. He’s a little too intense when he trains. You don’t have to go 1000% every day in training. Vitali had to postpone the Rahman fight 4 times. Eventually he had to retire for 4 years to rehab old leg injuries from kickboxing. That’s life. You move on. If you can’t handle bad luck, and a lot of it, you’ll never have good luck.

Too bad. Has his toe fully healed?

Haye is fighting Wilder next.

Let’s hope Haye vs. Charr happens after his injury heals. After that, the winner should call out Magomed Abdusalamov. Whoever wins, should be a threat to the Klitschkos and should fight them as soon as possible.

What a surprise ! Another ” hand injury ” . Lucky it wasn’t his ” little
toe ” , otherwise he’d really be in trouble !

Posted May 14, 2013 12:30 pm

K-2- Fan

Gee , where have I heard THAT before ? It IS the hand this time ? Not
the back , or maybe the ” LIttle Toe ” ? How many times can he pull this s…t , and expect to get away with it ? Still , I’m sure there are those fan boys , that’ll believe anything .

I’m tired of Haye. Waste of time to dedicate press to this guy. Let’s focus on the HWs that are actually committed to fighting in this division.
