Squared-Circle (a.k.a. LionKing)

His straight right is deadly, but he has a hell of a lot of power in that left hook as well. I’ve watched film of this guy flooring clowns with that shot. Scary power in both hands and hungry as a wolf. This guy White is going to be a big test, but if Sergey walks thru him too, Dawson, Cloud and Pascal better run for the hills!

He’s seems to be very solid fundamentally and has serious power with the right hand. All he has to do is steer away from Dawson and “Hops” and he’ll easily win one of the L.H. belts. Kovlev is an exciting fighter to watch and I eagerly look forward to his next fight vs White.

Kovalev is no joke. All the title holders at 175 will gladly duck him as long as possible. They’ll get nervous if his star rises as high as his talent, leading to pressure to actually fight him. Only way he gets a title shot is via mandatory challenger status.

Kovalev defeats anyone in the Light Heavyweight that is not named Dawson. And if he doe fight Dawson, I would give him a pretty decent chance of winning. Campillo is a very skilled fighter. Kovalev hurt him everytime he hit him. And stopped him in just a few rounds. I never saw anyone do that to Campillo

He’s looked impressive in the few fights I’ve seen him in for sure. Campillo was the best fighter [world class] he’s been in with and Kova broke him down early & stopped him handily. I think he’s a champion in waiting. No question about it

Big fan of Kovalev. Skilled action fighter. He should blow past white.

Kovalev – fast with excellent reflexes and knows his way around a boxing ring. Impressive light-heavyweight contender with power in both hands – particularly with his right cross. Only question mark might regard stamina, since most of his fights are early round stoppages. Would love to see him in with one of the 175 lb title holders. He looks to be ready to rock.
