It’s Me, Ernie

Meanwhile back at the ranch, Tard is frantically searching Google for a picture of a bet ticket with five or more figures to post in here and claim it’s his even though we know is just more of his hot air…

I give only one pick for any fight… If you can find where I picked both guys find it and repost it you lying sack of dung.. I’d like to see the Cinnamon Kid pull off a shocking upset like everybody else — but I’m giving Floyd the edge because his brilliant 152 weighin negotiation..

Canelo has to make that weight and still be super strong, sharp, and energetic the next day at a much higher rehydrated weight.. That may take a magician … so I’m waiting for the weighin to place any big money … to see if they both look strong and fresh — or if Canelo looks weight drained.

Boxtra.. Nobody “knows” who’s going to win a fight like this. If anybody knew the future they’d be a Trillionaire.. The best handicappers do a sophisticated analysis to get a close a reading on the true odds. Then they watch which way public sentiment drives the odds to see if a good bet shows up. When the broad public fan base is super confident one guy will win — i.e. Clay-Liston I … Ali-Norton I … Ali-Spinks … Frazier-Foreman I … Tyson-Douglas … Tyson-Holyfield … Lewis-Rahman … De La Hoya-Mosley I … Mosley-Forrest I — being a few instances of this. That’s the time to start paying close attention because public sentiment is betting sentiment. Often the majority opinion is out of whack with reality, and often it’s not—in which case there’s no bet.

The bet is never the LOSER. Go take a MATH class. When you bet on the LOSER you get ZERO money in return including your OWN money….. The bet is ALWAYS on the WINNER. Take the WINNER and you not only get YOUR money back you get some on TOP of it. Canelo will get down to a 1.75-1 or 1.5-1 underdog. Which means that you’ll get a big return on Mayweather. …1k WON for every 1500 down. WOW!! Thats a 66.6 percent return!

Floyd is slower than he once was. Canelo is young and hungry.

The bet here is Canelo… But it’s not a good enough bet because you need better odds than than anything out there right now… I’d like to see +400 on Canelo… That would be really juicy, but I doubt if we’ll get there… But you never know with these Floyd fanatics like Boxtra… Of course he doesn’t bet.. But when Tyson fools got done betting on Tyson-Holyfield 1 the bet on Holyfield was shockingly good beyoung belief … I hope you see something like that here because you’re going to see action on this fight.

I don’t need Geritol.. I’ll take that when I’m 115.. I fired a nutritionist who didn’t even want me to take any iron, zinc, minerals, or vitamins. Just good, fresh, whole, organic, vegetables, fruits, nuts, legumes, grass fed beef, range fed chicken, bee pollen, and whatever else he suggested after he reviewed my blood panel, blood pressure, heart rate, weight, BMI, body fat percentage, peripheral vision, hearing, reflexes, vertical jump, gripping strength, and all the other stuff he always wanted to know.. as if he was my doctor.. I told him I’m on Medicare and get a free exam once a year.

He looked in my freezer and didn’t like all the ice cream and frozen treats, or beer in the fridge. At least I don’t eat all the popcorn, chips, candy, crackers, and cookies, which my pantries are full of. I told him that stuff is for guests. He said, “Don’t you want your guests to he healthy?” I said, “No, I want them to be happy.” He thought that was outrageous.

This pundit writes, “Will Canelo be able to land a jab? Hmmm…Probably not” WTF??? Canelo won’t be able to land a JAB!!??? Did Miguel Cotto stick his ATG jab up Floyd’s nose? Forget about Guerrero’s jab—RG doesn’t have one but Cotto HAS a jab. Canelo is an even better boxer than Cotto is. Compare their skills versus Austin Trout. Canelo did more damage to Trout than Cotto did—and he took less punishment. Alvarez floored Trout from a distance—about 5 feet away—where Trout thought he was well out of range. Cotto was completely helpless and flailing at Trout from that range. Saul will crack Floyd smack in the snoot with his great jab—AND with his sizzling straight rights. Floyd will blunt Canelo’s weapons but he will get caught by some shots. This kid is too damned quick for the GOAT to escape completely.

Pundit also writes, “We’re not talking long shot here.” LMFAO..I have Floyd an 8:5 favorite right now. I expect Floyd to solve early problems in the 2nd half of the fight and to take over in about the 10th. However, Canelo also adjusts extremely well as his fights goes on. He’s a cool kid, and very bright. Let’s see how their training camps go, and how difficult it is for Canelo to knock his weight down—versus his last fight where he had a lot of difficulty knocking off the last few lbs. Canelo coming in weight drained—or not—is the pivotal key to this fight. If Canelo doesn’t suffer too much from achieving 152—it WILL be extremely competitive.

Pundit writes…, Ali responded by saying…, “If that means good, then I’m that.” Ali got nailed with a ton of punches so I guess he WAS good. Floyd has NO desire to be good … He wants nothing less than GOAT status.

The stupid comparisons of Canelo being a light heavy weight are just stupid. So does that means when a real light heavy weigh comes in on fight night at 200 lbs that he should be fighting heavy weights ? People like Mayweather are such P……s And by the way, watch the old Delahoya vs Maywether and youll see he beat mayweather. All mayweather would hit are De lahoyas gloves for most of the fight. Mayweather is trying to weaken Canelo for the fight making him come in at 152. Fraudweather!

What is the penalty for not making the weight? That is the interesting question for Team Canelo. Is it worth when it comes down to the last couple of weeks to get down there in weight. Team Floyd can’t complain to much because they did the exact same thing to Marquez when there was a catchweight and Floyd totally ignored it. It wasn’t Floyd couldn’t have made the weight, he didn’t think it was worth it and just paid the fine. Its rare for a fight to be canceled because the fighter came in a bit over. A win over Floyd might be worth not killing yourself to make weight. Not professional but might be worth it.

A guy like stedmond was saying that Canelo is so big that he bearly makes154 ,so I am courious to see what he got to say about this catch weight at 152 ..? Why is that ? Weakening canelo to the be sure he can’t hurt him or mayweather offer at 152 is another episode to avoid the fight from happening knowing Canelo can’t possibly make the weight?

First of all, I don’t believe that Canelo is ready for Floyd. Floyd can easily outbox Alvarez if he so chooses. Floyd is not like the other guys. He has mastered this sport. Guerrero was a 4 time world champ and Floyd did to him what he did to the other guys. What really amazes me is that Pac-man, who didn’t want to submit to the Olympic style blood and urine testing when Floyd asked him to, is now demanding it of the guy he’s fighting next, Brandon Rios. Go figure! Anyway, my money is on the ” Pretty Boy. ” Floyd by a unanimous decision over Alvarez.

The reason why Floyd is so hard to beat is the adjustments he makes in fights, look zab was able to catch him he went to his body made him stop throwing counters and jabs same with Oscar and Mosely. Plus he is very elusive his movement frustrates fighter because you cannot hit him even when he is close. Canelo will get taken to school he is big powerful but slow. he will get countered and busted up all night. Floyd is unbeatable you need a crafty counter puncher with speed a good chin and someone who can get him out of his rhythm. Brawling down work outboxing don’t work, he takes what is working against him and makes you stop using it simply put sweet science….

Forget the re-hydration stuff. Unless they fight inside a 10 x 10 ft boxing ring, the weight will have no bearing on the fight. This fight is all about experience and the fighting styles both will use. It’s all pretty simple. Floyd’s will use his strengths, which are speed, counter punching, defense and a lot of holding and moving away. He will use his safety first approach and puck Canelo apart with jabs, hooks, straight right leads and movement. Eventually he will have Canelo frustrated, and he will look like a million dollars because Canelo is too young, inexperienced has a bully type attitude and will have very slow hands against a guy in Mayweather that is very elusive and will make you pay if you can’t match his speed. Canelo strengths are power, body punching, and weight and the Mexican fan base behind him. IMO, he will lose a UD and will have a few moments, but he will miss as most of his punches will also. Mayweather took this fight for a reason. Canelo will get better in time, but not now. A good fighter never beats a very, very good fighter ever.

off course 2lb matters when a fighter is already struggling to make the normal weight, no mystery there unless your clueless.

Malachi- Canelo’s weight class is 154lbs. Why 2 lbs you ask? Does it really matter? Apperantly it does matter to the Mayweathers. But its all good, Canelo is the one that was calling him out, so fine he’ll sacrifice 2 little extra pounds to go ahead with this fight. But man, people have said he will rehydrate up to 20lbs overnight? Light heavy weight? Like Mayweather is defensless, poor Mayweather, and all that nonesense. Try to convince everyone Mayweather is the heroe. Canelo does not hydrate 20lbs overnight. He is not Chavez jr.
