Hear, Hear Virg, how about Magee next then onto the Bute’s and Kesslers no way Carl interested only big fights now.Posted June 10, 2013 3:20 pm
Hughie Fury looks like a very good prospect. Admittedly, his opponent was fat and not much good but Fury looked very clinical in disposing of him.
Excluding Groves, this was DeGales biggest fight to date. Says it all really. Froch has fought the hardest run of 8-9 fights that no other boxer can boast of and that experience alone would lead to an easy victory.
Degale is the most boring guy I have ever seen fight live.he spends far to much time laying on the ropes.groves would KO him if they fought again, and froch would completely annihilate him.Posted June 9, 2013 6:17 am
bourne is right who needs degale ? degale needs to take risks and fight a few names even if its for little money – he cant just keep fighting the guys he is and expect to fight froch its delusional. he seemed really annoyed with hennessey but he can’t expect a shot at the title because he won the olympic gold medal 5 years ago as a pro he has only stepped up once & lost and to a guy younger than him. degale has the skills though but i cant help but feel he is letting his prime slip awayPosted June 9, 2013 3:58 am
like to know what Grove is up to.Posted June 9, 2013 12:51 am
Credit to chunkie he’s paying his dues and staying active,he’s in the who needs him club now. He won’t get a shot at Froch any time soon if ever,if Froch fights any domestic fight it will be Groves another solid but slow apponant for Froch to look good against.Posted June 8, 2013 10:45 pm
I agree with DeGale, they are talking as if Froch is unbeatable,I’m know I’m in the minoratey but I think DeGales speed would give Froch all sorts of problems and actually think if DeGale got a fare shake with the judges he would beat Carl.Posted June 8, 2013 10:32 pm
Froch would capitalise on DeGale’s weaknesses. Froch by KO but this fight probably never happens anyway. DeGale has good skill and talent howeverPosted June 8, 2013 7:29 pm
