Just think what this fight will do for Bradley’s image, marketability, and future bouts if he beats Marquez, the ATG who KOd Manny Pacquiao? I’m looking forward to this fight. Timmy better train really hard. Juan is the most accurate puncher he will ever meet.

hecdog – So there was NEVER any excuse as to why Pacquiao didn’t want Olympic style testing?? Or was that all bs too? Cause I CLEARLY remember “I don’t like needles” and “It makes me weak”….c’mon bro! I don’t think Pacquiao has EVER cheated, but you throw accusations as Marquez cause of his story changing, but you totally backup Pacquiao after he CLEARLY switched excuses as to why he didn’t want Olympic style testing.

meanwhile, Marquez has never remotely come close to not passing any test EVER. he’s passed every one that the NSAC asked and has actually challenged Pacquiao* to agree to even stricter testing. Pacquiao* refused. people, mostly boxing-ignorant Pacquiao* fanboys, panicked because they could not believe that a small framed guy like Marquez could replicate Manny’s* jump up in weight and still deliver so much destruction to a poor unsuspecting human being like Pacquiao*. some guys are natural born Fighters for whom ring-glory is more important than money and Marquez is one of those Fighters. Greater than Pacquiao*.

“Manny Pacquiao has never remotely came close to . . .” agreeing to random testing, which is suspect. not even to face his primary P4P rivals and for multimillion dollar paydays. IMO, it was a weak excuse to avoid Mayweather and Marquez until they aged and slowed-down a bit more. of course, until Pacquiao* actually tests, he’s suspect, and the asterisk will remain.

Manny Pacquiao has never remotely came close to not passing any test ever. He passed every one that the NSAC asked. People, mostly haters panicked becaue they could not believe that a small framed guy like Manny could to so much destruction to a human being. Some guys are natural born punchers, and Manny is one of those guys. I’m sorry that Floyd Mayweather isn’t one of those guys. Listening to Floyd Sr, Uncle Roger and Floyd himself, you would have thought Manny was knocking out mountains. It’s amazing to see things that scare a man. Manny is special and never avoided any testing period. I personally wayched Manny state on the ESPN First Take Sports show tell the commentators, audience and Floyd himself that he was open to take any test Floyd wanted, and that he would even do a 45%/55% split favoring Mayweather. Guess what, Myweather never responded. He was simply afraid Manny was too fast, powerful and had better feet. Regarding Marquez, what, what’s there to say about a guy that hired a known Ped supplier to the US Olympic track team. And look at the surprising power results of an aging old Marquez. It doesn’t take much to connect the dots. And topping it off was the interviews where Marquez and Nacho both said they knew nothing of Angel Hereida’s past, basically out right lying, and then a week later changing their story. They lied their ears off. Manny is a man of God that is honest and honorable.

Pac was willing to take one test only…the same test that has proven to be inefficient since it was established.

PAC was willing to take a test just not the one Floyd wanted him to take I didn’t know Floyd was the boxing council too

I find it hard to believe that Hecdog believes Juan Marquez is on peds but Pac is cleaned…really? So the guy that made countless excuses for not taking a test is cleaned, while the guy that gave him a run for his money on every fight and knocked him out cold is dirty. There’s big difference between being a fan and worshiping a fighter…obviously Hecdog worship Pac.

Anyway, the article is not about Pac, but about Bradley-Marquez fight. This is going to be a very interesting fight. If it had happened two years ago, I would have picked Marquez due to his counterpunching. However, Marquez has a lot of mileage and he’s at the end of his career; not sure if he can be as effective against a younger opponent.

Not an easy fight to pick a winner due to the age difference. By the way, the fight should be for the welterweight title, not the Junior Welterweight.

Marquez actually requested improved testing Aaand agreed to the chump-change ($3 mill to Manny’s* $30 mill) for the last bout v. Pacquiao*. Punkuiao* responded by pricing himself out of a 5th matchup (purse parity?!?) just like he priced himself out of the red-hot and eagerly anticipated rematch following their first matchup. in both cases, Punkuiao* was traumatized by Marquez’s fighting ability and avoided another punishing bout that he knows he can’t win. also in both cases, Pacquiao* insisted on haggling with the reigning featherweight champion and Champion of the Decade. correction: Punkuiao* didn’t haggle at all following the first bout. the purse was announced, Pacquiao* rejected, and chased after a presumably vulnerable Morales coming off another flat performance and loss to Barrera. Pacquiao* is the greatest avoider of primary rivals and improved testing in the history of boxing.

Hecdog – Remember, Pacquiao dodged the blood tests and lost out on the BIGGEST paycheck of his entire career….how about that? What did Marquez avoid?

Posted June 11, 2013 5:24 pm

Titopa

Hecdog – He can’t be the greatest ever, cause according to you, he’s a cheater!

Posted June 11, 2013 5:13 pm

Titopa

Hecdog – Well, how many excuses did Pacquiao give for not wanting to take the tests? I can’t even count, he changed his story/excuse so many times, if you’re judging Marquez on his story changing, then put Pacquiao on the list of PED users, cause he CLEARLY uses/used.

“He’s not done yet, and in the end, most will recognize him as more than special” but at the moment Pacquiao* is considered to be declining, at best, or destroyed by Marquez, at worst. meanwhile, it was Team Punkuiao* (and fanatical Pacturds) that constantly defended Pacquiao’s* suspect refusal to test and existing testing standards as adequate. They also consistently derided Mayweather for requesting improved anti-doping standards, e.g., “we’re not going to rewrite the rules of boxing just to satisfy Mayweather”. Marquez publicly challenged Pacquiao* to test before III and IV but Pacquiao* refused. all we can say about the testing results from those bouts is that Pacquiao* was no dirtier or juiced than he’s been for any previous contest. although Ariza implied otherwise when he pointed out that Pacquiao* had deviated from their standard pre-fight preparation to focus on his boxing skills. at which point, he was promptly KTFO by Marquez the Greater. after Marquez defeats Bradley, that will read Marquez the Greater! this “W” will provide the exclamation point to Marquez’s ring-legacy. the Biggest Choke in Boxing History and the #1 KO in Boxing History will serve as bookends to Pacquiao’s* ring legacy. along with his suspect rejection of Random and MUTUALLY-Applied Testing to face his primary P4P rival for $25-$50 million, catchweights, and bogus “diamond” belts.

Anonymous, Manny Pacquiao is the greatest fighter of all time. He’s the only 8 division champion recognized by Ring Magazine, which tells me that he has done what no one else in boxing has done. He reign of terror in his best days are unequaled. Just wait to see what he does with Rios and the rest of the guys that want to fight him. He’s not done yet, and in the end, most will recognize him as more than special.

Titopa, just my opinion and hearing and reading info on Hereida, and listening to Marquez and Nacho tell TV reporters that they knew nothing of Hereida prior to hiring him, but changing their story on TV a week later. They both lied about it. Hard to trust liars.

How did jmm duck pac? Didnt they fight 4 times already? No need for 5th fight. N both fighters were tested n were clean

Hecdog – never see anything from you but your silly fanboy posts do you have a shrine built to pac? You are a just a deluded fanboy. Your hero is a great fighter past his prime, who is nowhere near the greatest to ever lace them up, fool

Hecdog – What?? How was Marquez on “Peds”? You have clear info stating that, or are you just speculating like EVERYONE did to Pacquiao? In that case, Pacquiao is a CLEAR cheater, he’s the ONLY one who’s ducked the best tests…NOT Marquez.

Posted June 11, 2013 3:08 pm

Hecdog

Seriously? Does anyone really care about a guy that was pounded all over the ring by Manny Pacquiao, and another guy that was on Peds and a cheater? Both of these guys I might add turned down millions to fight Manny Pacquiao again. I wonder why? The tour should be held around a local park, not cities. No one cares about these guys. The real tours start with Canelo and Mayweather and end with Pacquiao and Rios.

The article twice stated the fight is for a Jr. Welter Championship, but I thought were fighting for Bradley’s Welterweight strap.
