After Vitali , whoever else Adamek fights , will be a step down . I don’t think
that Adamek is the same fighter as he was before Vitaly . A one sided ,
completely dominated loss like that , does something to a fighter . We shall
see .

Yes it is politics. Adamek has definitely shown his willingness to fight the best. So why fight Grano. A guy that I beat on 3 weeks’ notice and 0 rnds of heavyweight sparring after being out a year from the ring.Only had about 10 rounds from Felix Piedra Other than that I had virtually no work. Arreola beat a non-confident Molina who was lost in the moment. Grano got beat by a Molina who knew he belonged in the top and had the size and power to hurt anyone in the world. Point being I’m not the same fighter that faced Arreola and a fight with Grano for Adamek will prove nothing. Unlike him I want the winner of the fight. The winner should face me. Adamek I’m your guy let’s do this. Grano if you get lucky and win let’s do it again. Other than that this fight is a joke.

Adamek in my minds eye had control over the Cunningham and Chambers fight by having nore effective aggression, better ring generalship, and more power punches! Fight with Travis Walker proved his meddle by getting off the canvas and laying pipe! Im sure that Adamek would have embarrassed Haye because Haye is a coward, Adamek is fierce, Adamek is a better boxer and Fragomini kicked Hayes behind! Im sorry that fight never went off!

Got a lot of time for Tomasz Adamek. Light heavy and cruiser champ, went up to heavyweight to mix it with bigger men. I’d have liked him to stay longer at cruiserweight too but he moved up. Can’t knock him too much if he’s swapping punches with the likes of Arreola, 6’7″” Michael Grant and Vitali. The return fight with Steve Cunningham was close, not a robbery in my eyes. Steve may have had a slight edge, but a draw could have been about right. I don’t think Tomasz deserved that decision, but he’s been a warrior in his career. He’ll probably beat Grano, but the Klitschko boys are just too big for Adamek.

To say Adamek is irrelevant at heavyweight is ridiculous. He may not have been convincing in each fight but in the end he has only one loss and that is to Vitali Klitchko. And he’s one of the busiest fighters in the division fighting four times last year. I believe he has a fair against anyone besides the two brothers, that is until age catches up with him.

It’s Me, Ernie

He’s not allowed to make a living?

Adamek could have had great fights at cruiser…even a fight with Haye years ago(but Haye would have beat him even at cruiser)Instead he went with looking for the bigger money fights at heavy, and it backfired to a point. It looks like now hes getting a warm up fight then maybe cash out with a fight against a top guy soon.I would have liked to see how Adamek career would have unfolded if he stayed at cruiser,it would have been more elite overall I belive.

Adamek is a non factor at Heavyweight. He should have stayed at Cruiser, but it would be foolish to drop back down now.

Adamek should aim for a guy like Povetkin, he’s just going through he motions fighting guys like Grano, Grant and Maddalone.

This is just a fight to get Adamek back in the ring and active again. He is small, and on the wrong side of thirty, and there are no easy fights for him at heavyweight. I think he is going to make as much money as he can from his loyal fans and network. This is probably the way to go for a guy nearing the end of his career. The top names in the division are not in his cards.

DAMN, I LOST ALL MY RESPECT FOR ADAMEK. HE IS AN OBVIOUS CHERRY-PICKER NOWADAYS. HE’S NOT A WARRIOR.

He could have been a cruiser-weight legend instead of a just above average heavyweight, I think that is what folk mean.

Adamek has had some disputed victories the past couple of outings, and it will be his longest layoff I think in his career. I think he’s playing it smart, and he’s probably looking at the winner of Banks v Mitchell II, Haye v Fury, or Thompson v Price II. Tomasz should win this fight most likely by 6-8th round TKO.

Nobody!!! In boxing has a bigger heart than Adamek, And nobody has a tighter pocketbook also!

WHAT!?!

You can’t blame Adamek for the ringside judges decisions. Adamek gets a fair pasting on this site from so-called fight fans. I wish half the guys out there had his attitude and spirit. Always coming forward, tough, durable and usually against larger (during his heavyweight career) opponents.

Squared-Circle (a.k.a. LionKing)

Adamek keeps getting gift-wrapped decisions on the East Coast, so am not convinced it’s going to change because this fight is in Grano’s hometown in CT.
I thought Adamek lost to both Cunningham and Chambers, but had an army of loud and loyal fans in the house. both times. Can’t stand seeing all the robberies that take place in boxing. It’s really quite frustrating and disturbing.

Grano lost his last outing to Eric Molina, though he does have a few good wins under his belt .

Stay-busy fight for Adamek. Don’t know where he thinks he’s going in the division, though. Can’t beat a K, that’s for sure, but does he want any part of Pulev, Fury, Povetkin, Helenius, etc?

Oh no, Grano is a tough dude, but this is a step waaay down for tomasz… Disappointed

Why is Adameck taking several backwards steps probably hoping for a convincing win.

Tony Grano! Why not the guy who beat him in his last fight, Molina?
