Martirosyan and Trout! Martirosyan has the talent but does he have the mindset!

te tumbo: You clown, Canelo has to fight those guys.. the Lara’s Molina’s Matrirosyan’s… those are the highest rated guys in HIS division, who else should he be fighting? Lara has already stepped in the ring with these guys, they are not non threats because you want to say they are… why is a man who could go to 164 fighting Jr. WW’s and done fighters? because you say the others in his division aren’t challenges? Ok,.. I’ll accept that if his next fight IS actually with Sergio Martinez/GGG… but I doubt it will be. Canelo was FORCED to fight Trout, and Trout is tricky, but he doesn’t commit and he just got overpowered, plain and simple, but a guy like Lara won’t get played out that way… although I’ll remind you that Trout himself would have won on one card without the knock down. Something to think about… think about that however you’d like.

Problem is he sits on his ranking. He could of fought a few times before Lara but he kept saying he’s the mandatory so he is waiting for a title shot. That’s probably the reason he is fighting a nobody

the point being that if they’re never gonna become potential threats to Canelo by only fighting the likes of Davis and Angulo instead of each other. you can throw Trout, Thurman, Molina, and Cotto into that mix. until they finally $ort each other out, Alvarez will continue to target more prominent challenges v. Mayweather and Martinez.

Lara didn’t seem in any rush to rematch Vanez and Angulo was hardly a new plateau for Lara to conquer. Angulo looked TERRIBLE in that bout and was still on the verge of winning(?!). Lara and Martirosyan remain at the exact same status as contenders and are nothing for Canelo to worry about and isn’t that the point?

No kidding Bernie. I asked myself the same question. He goes from fighting Lara–one of the best in the world at this time to some no-name who had 10 losses? Really pathetic.

Why in the fu ch is martirosyan taking a step down rather than a step up? Why did it take so long for him to get in the ring again! All hype!
