Bhop has knowledge but man it is torture to listen to him. I like Roy JR as he is still retarded at times but better outside the ring than Bhop

Roy Jones is a good commentator and knows his stuff. George use to make me laugh, Tarver and Pauli are pretty good also. Teddy Atlas is just plain annoying. He never shuts up

Whos better Jim Grey, Max Kellerman or Larry Merchant at interviewing fighters

Yes, Gray asked Pete Rose about gambling but that was many years ago. Since then he’s toned it down considerably in all sports except boxing. He was the dork who mishandled “The Decision” with Lebron James, among other terrible Q&As.

CORRECTAMUNDO

Fight Aficionado-Jim Gray was sent to Boxing because he was the A-hole thay asked Pete Rose if he was rwady to admit gambling when it was his first time on Camera in front of the public in Years. And they were supposed to be celebrating his GREATNESS. SO Jim Gray isn’t known for asking softball questions to anyone. He’s known for not knowing the time and place to ask certain questions. He’s the type of guy that will ask a Fighter if he’s cheating on his wife after the Fight when he’s supposed to ask questions about the Fight.

You have to listen up with B-Hop… Bernard has great insights. You just have to follow him because he throws a few words in there to try to sound like a Harvard grad, which doesn’t always help convey his thoughts.

But he’s better than listening to Paulie, who says the obvious in a ramble that takes 3 times longer than needed — and it’s something everybody already knows. Like Teddy Atlas who just keeps blabbing away about everything and anything that happened 30 years ago, and misses what the knockdown punch was until the slo-mo replay.

I liked Roy Jones’s breakdown of Juanma Lopez’s poor stance and footwork.. and why Mikey Lopez was finding it so easy to score because of his superior technical skills. Hopkins knows as much or more than Jones — he’s not as relaxed about cutting in, correcting the other commentators, and quickly speaking his piece without bullying anyone.

Gents don’t get too excited, I like BHop but when it comes to transfering thoughts into words,……not the brightest star in the sky, just sayin.

Bhop is a good commentator, he provides technical analysis from a boxer’s POV. Plus he’s more entertaining than Ward, who is snorebore. Jim Gray is always a freak. You never know if he’s going to essentially berate the boxers he interviews. He meantime is a dork who throws softball questions at athletes in all other sports.
