The Voice of Boxing
I had Floyd winning by 8-4 or at worst 7-4 with one rd even. I can’t believe his dad said he had Oscar winning. I can see fights between Manny and Marquez being disputed because all were quite close and although I felt Manny won all three, I would not cry robbery if all went Marquez way. All three fights between Ali and Norton and Ali and Frazier were close and could have gone either way. Norton won the last fight and although the 3rd was stopped by Eddie Futch, Dundee almost did the same.
Than u have one pick not two guessesPosted June 30, 2013 9:01 am
Canelo WINS BY KO or Mayweather by UD. I am the GREATEST fight prophet EVER born!!Posted June 30, 2013 8:28 am
even the loser will likely get the best part of $50,000,000, man the Money retirement fund is mounting nicely.Posted June 30, 2013 5:48 am
This fool keeps mistaking Canelo for Victor Ortiz.., “Canelo has to be careful that he doesn’t quit or do something odd like fouling Mayweather out of frustration.”
You may have missed the fact that Canelo and Ortiz both fought Josesito Lopez…and their performances were miles apart in terms of skill and power.
Lopez broke Ortiz’s jaw and stopped him.. Making him quit again.
Canelo ran over Lopez like he wasn’t there.. It was an obvious mismatch because Canelo connected wth multipule combinations that repeated drove Lopez to the canvas and stopped him early.
Canelo is a much better, faster, stronger, and is a more skilled boxer, and there is nothing but ethnicity in common with the 2 fighters.Posted June 30, 2013 3:52 am
honestly all these new fighter comming to fruitation is really getting me excited about boxing just watched GGG and to tell you the truth after seeing that performance winning with ease, I dare say he would have even given hagler a run for his money at middleweight, martinez, chavez, pirog, quillin do your really think they stand a chance againts this dude.Posted June 30, 2013 2:08 am
I’m not saying Mayweather isn’t going to beat Canelo because he should. Canelo has no experience fighting any top guys. No amateur experience. He’s big, tough, strong and young. He has potential, but to say he’s going to beat a good fighter like Floyd is not going to happen unless Floyd gets old. I think Canelo is a good fighter, but he has way too many question still to answer. And Mayweather is a good fighter, but definitely not great. A defensive fighter like him that fights smaller, older guys and avoids his potential strongest challenges is not considered great. Castillo actually beat him, a old Oscar nearly beat him, an ancient Mosely almost knocked him out. When you get wins against guys like Gatti that is one dimensional and easy to hit doesn’t say much. Floyd missed the boat avoiding many great fighters as he was coming up. The unbeaten record means nothing. It’s the quality of fighters he took on. He ran from Pacquiao regardless what people think. He ran. Guys like GGG are fighters that take on anyone. Pacquiao, Mosely, Oscar, Duran, Hearns, Toney and Roy Jones are some fighters that were true champions. Look at the great fighter Ricardo Finito Lopez. He retired undefeated with over 50 wins. Calzaghe undefeated. Adrien Broner is a better fighter than Floyd and won 3 titles before Floyd did, and Broner actually wants to fight and not just hit and run. These are great fighters. Floyd missed the boat and ran away with the money. I’ll give him credit, he’s a good fighter that makes a lot of money.
Should read, The intellect of a 12 year old not an 12 year old. I’m always here to help and clarify.Posted June 30, 2013 12:19 am
There’s no sense discussing what Oscar would have done if he had been in his prime or anything else. What’s done is done and Mayweather won. You may had Floyd, but you can’t deny his ring greatness. No matter what he does or doesn’t do in life, what he does in the ring is all that matters…and he always wins. Fact.Posted June 29, 2013 9:38 pm
Hecdog, after Money whips this hypejob´s rear who is going to be the though guy who Money is ducking??Posted June 29, 2013 9:29 pm
Says you. The biblethumper with the intellect of an 12 year oldPosted June 29, 2013 9:13 pm
And De La Hoya was past his prime. Imagine what he would have done to Floyd in his prime. Easy stoppage by Oscar. Oscar had a punishing jab that would land all night. Some of you need to learn how to score a professional boxing match. Oscar could have and should have received the decision over Mayweather.Posted June 29, 2013 8:55 pm
@ hecdog – dude u are straight tripping! U think odh beat money? Really? I had floyd in a majority decision. Only reason he did get the unanimous was because odh was the face of boxing at the time!Posted June 29, 2013 8:23 pm
Of course you do. Because your a moron. Maybe you should pray for more intellect.Posted June 29, 2013 8:08 pm
De La Hoya was robotic compared to some fighters, but had good results, was a bit robotic, just his style.Posted June 29, 2013 7:40 pm
No, Oscar was an Olympic Champion, Mexican American, and was well known by the time he fought Mayweather, which by the way,I still think he won. Canelo vs Mayweather does not break Oscar’s PPV record. Yes, Oscar’s not Mayweathers.Posted June 29, 2013 7:23 pm
The Mad Scientist
This fight is huge but its not breaking any records..if it does atleast 1.5 PPV consider it a success and be happy with it.Posted June 29, 2013 6:46 pm
