WHY would I take a bet like that where I get no reward???. I’ve already almost SPANKED you off Eastside for LIFE without the bet. . I also SPANKED many others off here for LIFE…Actually IF you leave for LIFE that’s a relief for you because you don’t have to stick around getting SPANKED…..Thats why Old Yank and Iron Beach left. Old Yank bet me that Pavlik would beat Hopkins and Martinez..and then he tried to make a comeback and bet me that the commission wouldn’t erase Hopkins Official LOSS in the First Fight with Dawson. Three strikes he’s OOOOUUUUTTTT!!…..and you’re next! Broner by Pummeling UD or late stoppage….Paulie ran to avoid punishment. Maidana won’t and he will PAY for his machismo like POOR Shannon Briggs or Dereck Chisora. (Pummeling UD LOSSES vs. VK)Posted July 2, 2013 2:32 am
Hecdog -Broner is not the best from 140 to 154. You need to get a grip, man.Posted July 1, 2013 9:16 pm
Broner needs to get the hell out of the WW division. He’s not ready yet.Posted July 1, 2013 9:14 pm
Paulie put in a respectable job against Boaner, and Boaner could not take Paulie out, he could not do it.Posted July 1, 2013 11:13 am
Patrick2, you just rant on and on don’t you? Stop for a minute and read other people’s posts. Broner is good, no one is saying he’s not. Likeability has never been a factor. Broners basic footwork and lack of punching power at 147 have been under discussion.
If you looked closely, Paulie to a knee after catching a wicked body shot. I don’t know what the ref was thinking calling that a slip. Make no mistake about it; Paulie has a world class chin. The shots he was getting lit up with, would hurt or put down another fighter with less punch resistance. Broner has the goods people. Don’t let a running Paulie fool yall.Posted July 1, 2013 12:31 am
Too soon for Maidana to move up again bro but you right that AB was not all that with over the hill Paulie.Posted June 30, 2013 11:27 pm
Jonn E. JaGozza
MAidana should have no problems with Broner. I was a big Broner fan until I saw him struggle with Paulie, Broner won but not in a convincing fashion and paulie had no pwer in any of the punches he threw. Maidana would destroy Broner. Also I’d like to see Maidana take on eithetr Alveraz or move up in weight and take on the guy who just beat Macklin.
NOBODY LOVES ANY ONE BOXER TARD ASS….Not you TARK this guy Tard
Broner is skilled yet not fully tested at 147!
MATTYSEE OR MAIDANA WOULD BE THE TEST FOR BRONER…..Posted June 30, 2013 11:19 pm
TARK THE TARD
I DONT SEE ANYTHING…..I LOVE FLOYD….I LOVE BRONERPosted June 30, 2013 10:45 pm
TARD THE TARD
I LOVE FLOYD…I LOVE BRONER…I DONT SEE HOW MAIDANA IS SO GREAT BUT PEOPLE WITH EYES CAN SEE WHAT A BLIND MAN CAN NOT SEEPosted June 30, 2013 10:44 pm
I’m sure Broner will fight whoever can get him the most loot.. He’s not worried about his performance and one judge’s idiot scorecard..
Floyd had an idiot judge vote against him in one fight too.
Broner knows this is Boxing.. You could lose any fight due to injury… ignorant judges… biased judges… lucky punch… or you just are just get beat legitimately because you’re having a really bad night..
You forget it and do the next fight.. what the hell?Posted June 30, 2013 10:10 pm
By the way he looked against light hitting Paulie he’ll have problems not just with welters, but jr welterweights as well. He barely beat Paulie and I’m sure his confidence took a big hit. What heppened with “let the fans decide who should I fight next?”…didn’t he said that right after the fight?Posted June 30, 2013 9:14 pm
Does Bernard Lee know who Maidana is? If he did, he would know that Maidana is a serious test. Maidana is differently not the fastest figher; but he can punch with the best of them. If Broner can get by Maidana, he would earn a lot of boxing fans’ respect. The question is can he get by or will he be put to sleep!Posted June 30, 2013 8:31 pm
WOOOOOH…..SLOW YOUR ROLE PLAYBOY…..I LIKE BRONER.
You are looking an judging the old Maidana and not seeing the improved version under Garcia but that is ok because if they fight you lose cash and I make paper all day….LOLPosted June 30, 2013 8:19 pm
There you guys go again — judging a fighter’s “likeability”, instead their ability/talent. But you better start liking Broner — because if he stays out of trouble outside of the ring, he’s going to be around a long time, and dominating, inside the ring.Posted June 30, 2013 7:15 pm
And Maidana’s best win is against…? But that’s beside the point. You guys are just seeing what you want to see… Paulie got dominated, period. It wasn’t a shut out, but it was an easy win. Broner just couldn’t set his feet long enough to throw bombs because of all of Paulie’s movement. But against a guy like Maidana, who moves flat-footed, Broner will eat him alive. Broner is faster, hits nearly as hard, has better timing, and controls distance much better than Maidana. Maidana will go down like DeMarco did.Posted June 30, 2013 7:11 pm
No way he takes on Mattysee….Maidana is bad enough and Mattysee is another nightmare all together for AB. He best just move back down and say he did a success tour at 147….LMAOPosted June 30, 2013 6:41 pm
Broner will do whatever Haymon tells him to do. This will probably mean fighting Judah or some such fight next. They’re gonna ride this hype train as long as the fans keep lapping it up. Broner said he’d fight whomever the fans chose. Well, if the poll on Ring lists Mattysee and Maidana as the two top picks. Let’s see if Broner is a man of his word, but I wouldn’t hold your breath…Posted June 30, 2013 6:23 pm
Patrick and Boxtradamus(CORRECTAMUNDO), where does this faith in Broner come from? The kid was beaten against Quintero I think his name was a few years back and the judges gave it to Broner. You could argue that Ponce beat him. Paulie gave him a good nights work.
B.S. Broner stated before the fight with Paulie that he intended to go back down in weight. He just didn’t have a dance partner available to fight at 135-140, and his best option at the time was the fight with Paulie. Paulie is a tricky fighter to learn/practice on, and held a belt — so he could return at the lower weights with a stronger resume — smart thinking on Broner’s part. But trust me, Maidana’s face is going to get abused and tattooed if he gets matched up with Broner — Broner is not hype; he’s for real.Posted June 30, 2013 6:07 pm
If AB sticks around 147 he MUST face Maidana soon. Perhaps Broner should take an easy fight prior to this as he needs to learn the power that he will be facing in the 147 ranks. Paulie just does not have average power and AB will be shocked when a heavy handed 147 lands on his mug.
Just my thoughtsPosted June 30, 2013 6:06 pm
Patrick ; let’s wait & see what broner does stay @ 147 or go back down in weight. My guess is he goes back down in weight; if not let the fire works startPosted June 30, 2013 5:55 pm
Maidana is a fairly stationary target, but I also don’t think broners defense is that great, maidana would be a tough fight, but then again not many easy ones in jrww and wwPosted June 30, 2013 5:52 pm
BS — Don’t take that advice to Vegas and bet on it because you’ll lose, and lose huge — just like Maidana will if/when he faces Broner.Posted June 30, 2013 5:50 pm
Its simple; no power Broner @ 147 loses to Maidana whether his feet are set or not. Broner is a hypejob over rated fighter period.Posted June 30, 2013 5:43 pm
TARK….WHY ARE YOU TALKING FLOYD AN MAIDANA?
CORRECTAMUNDO is in fact correctamundo. Watch what AB does to a stationary, straight-ahead fighter like Maidana — Maindana will get beat into submission. With Paulie, AB wasn’t able to set down on his punches against the always moving target, therefore AB’s “lack of power at 147.” But with Maidana, AB won’t have to find him and will sharp shoot him all night with stinging shots. I say Maidana’s corner throws in the towel before the 10th to save Marcos from further abuse.Posted June 30, 2013 5:23 pm
If you think Broner will just stroll past Maidana then you don’t know jack s..HIT about Maidana or trainer Garcia…..WAKE UP….Posted June 30, 2013 5:20 pm
Correctamundo, are you retarded, no way he stops Maidana, he could not even hurt stagger or even buckle Paulie at all, not once,at 147 he has no power, Maidana will treat Broners power like Broners treated Paulie’s. your post are getting dumber and dumber with each passing day, You can bet Garcia will have a great game plan to take care of Broner, Broners down fall will be his ego, once that gets involved his game plan and defense go right out the window,-and getting to his ego is very easy-PEACEPosted June 30, 2013 12:10 pm
Maidana likes to stand and trade not run and hide like Paulie. Therefore Broner will WIN by pummeling UD or late stoppage.Posted June 30, 2013 11:56 am
Broner has the size advantage over Maidana but Bulldog styles like Maidana will create issues for AB. Paulie was tossing 1 an 2 punches that were easy to avoid or block. Paulie was rolling up points but doing no damage. AB was easily hurting Paulie with each shot.
Maidana is a different boxer under Garcia. He trains with top elite boxers now. He will never stop throwing 4 & 5 punch combos to Broner. Sure, Marco will walk into some bombs but he loves to eat heat.
I like Broner, his trash talking & his big brush, but I have said it 1000 times that Maidana will knock him down. Broner is too young to risk his career with the 147 Killing Machine. He better vacate and drop back down so he can continue on a long career like Floyd.
Hell Floyd knows how to play the game and AB looks up to Money. You side step when required or sort of retire until the storm, this storm being Maidana, passes on through town.
Maidana is no hype joke. He loves to fight for fun not fame. He is not trying to be a legend or a PIMP/PLAYER he just wants to hit and be hit….RUN ABPosted June 30, 2013 11:01 am
“Watch the tape.. Broner didn’t kick Paulie between the legs, Paulie was tackling Broner’s leg in his desperate attempts to avoid punches and exchanges of any kind.. ” Whatever, Tark! Broner did quite a good job of consistently jabbing Paulie with his elbows and forearms. But I don’t suppose you saw that.Posted June 30, 2013 9:59 am
Maidana packs power in both hands so na the clone won’t fight him!Posted June 30, 2013 6:50 am
man how good would it be to see El Chino landing some bombs on the Problem, we’l see how good his chin is that’s for sure.Posted June 30, 2013 5:36 am
Haimat is bang on, the Paulie fight showed us that at WW Broner is NOT a big puncher, he hit Paulie regularly with all his punches all night and there wasnt a mark on him,if he was ALL that he would have stopped him,but he never so he’s dug a hole for himself and now he looks the clown when he vacates, why not stay at welterweight? is he moving up? as down will spell even MORE trouble for him, he’s a hype job of the highest order.Posted June 30, 2013 5:25 am
if Broner vacates then he’s a joke.Posted June 30, 2013 4:52 am
Broner is a decent top ten fighter at 147. He’ll be top 5 or top 3 at 140 and the top dog at 135 if he can still make that weight which I doubt.
C’mon, Josesito Lopez had Maidana in all kinds of trouble and has nowhere near the skill, defense, hand sleed or power of Broner.
Maidana is very hittable and hurtable, a fight with Broner would play out much like the Devon Alexander fight only this time Maidana would be getting cracked with sledgehammers instead of marshmellows.Posted June 30, 2013 4:21 am
Broner has a lot of avenues he can take… He’s a 3-Division World Champion and he’s 23… His face was as clean after facing punchless Paulie as Canelo’s was after he fought Trout.. Both are skilled defenders.
Paulie was messed up. Only one guy was in a fight: Paulie
One guy could have read a book during the fight and reached chapter 13: Broner. Paulie never touched him with a decent punch.
You want to see a body punch? Watch GGG. You want to see a wet noodle? It’s Paulie.Posted June 30, 2013 2:22 am

Right now, Adrien Broner is his own problem- AH HA HA HA HA!Posted June 30, 2013 1:52 am
Broner will lose to any elite fighter at 140 to 147Posted June 30, 2013 1:25 am
Broner is the real deal. His problem is his attitude. It rubs people the wrong way. He’ll beat maidana.Posted June 30, 2013 12:56 am

Killing Moon The Soothsayer
Frame-wise Ward is a LHW GGG looks like a LMW….But crazier things have happened…Ward 6’0 GGG 5’10 But very different builds…I think it would have to be a catchweight(Sadly…And not sure I even want anymore catchweights happening…It’s messing evrything up)….Honestly GGG could succeed in 168…But doubt he’ll be as succesful as 160…And I kinda want some talent around 160 it used to be the premier div…And it deserves to be that again..Posted June 30, 2013 12:53 am
Broner vs Maidana would be a totally different fight with brainer playing it save. Maidana does have fast hands but loves to come forward unlike Paulie hence Broner would just box him and not try to trade. I see a boring UD for broner.Posted June 30, 2013 12:44 am
“It’s likely Broner won’t choose to defend the belt given how weak and poor he looked against Paulie Malignaggi last Saturday night in beating him by a 12 round split decision in Brooklyn, New York.” Ain’t that the truth. Broner got a gift win too.Posted June 30, 2013 12:11 am
I actually think Maidana could very well beat Broner.Posted June 30, 2013 12:09 am
All you have to do to beat Broner is keep him n the middle of the ring and turn him, so he cant set his feet and its all over for BronerPosted June 30, 2013 12:02 am
I do not see Broner beating any of the top tear fighters at WW, JWW or Gamboa at 135. Broner is a limited flat-footed fighter. He has lousy footwork and an average defense. He has to get his feet set to throw anything. The first fighter that uses his foot speed to not allow Broner to set his feet will completely destroy him. To top it off with his power is overrated; it did not carry to WW.Posted June 30, 2013 12:00 am

Big mike- the top 5 fighters in WW or JW are A class fighters beating maidana makes him a A class fighter but the media dubbed him elite did he look like an elite againts PM.Posted June 29, 2013 10:44 pm
It’s got our name on it.Posted June 29, 2013 10:39 pm
Broner is as classless as Bernard Hopkins. Claim how great you are when you’ve fought nobody’s.Posted June 29, 2013 10:37 pm
So then if he beats Maidana then hes legit? No the goal post will get moved and he’ll have to beat Golovkin or he’s no good right.Posted June 29, 2013 10:30 pm
It’s all good man. You’ve shown you kno what your talking bout plenty for me . Im getting my drink tonight gonna watch golovkin put on a show. Enjoy yourself bro, cause I am lolPosted June 29, 2013 10:23 pm
Broner has to move down. No choice. That he couldn’t hurt or even stagger the weakest link in the welterweight division just put a million cracks in this hype job’s credibility. I see any top5 guy from 140-147 toying with him like a little mouse before gobbling him up. Take your pick: Mattysse, Garcia, Khan, Maidana, Ortiz, Josesito Lopez, Devon Alexander, Keith Thurman, Abregu, Guerrero… These divisions are too deep for a hypejob like Broner to hide. I would only give Broner a shot against Mosley. That’s it!Posted June 29, 2013 10:20 pm
Agreed sir.Posted June 29, 2013 10:17 pm
Like i said if broner grows a pair he well fight maidana but I dont see that happening the paperchamp needs to go back down to lightweight where there is no threat.Posted June 29, 2013 10:16 pm

Squared-Circle Real Talk (a.k.a. The Lion King of Beat Street)
Broner should go down to 140lbs, but will his ass handed to him by at least 2-3 top dogs at that weight class. Broner should be smart and go back down to 135lbs — if he can still manage to make weight. Gamboa is waiting….Posted June 29, 2013 10:10 pm
Gavin Rees 2 is beating Willie Nelson.Posted June 29, 2013 10:06 pm
Broner beat the living turds out of the running, grabbing, fouling Paulie… Watch the tape.. Broner didn’t kick Paulie between the legs, Paulie was tackling Broner’s leg in his desperate attempts to avoid punches and exchanges of any kind.. I you can’t count… or if you’re blind..
LOOK AT THE PUNCH STATS FOOLS.
Floyd will stay at 147 and K Maidana TFO.Posted June 29, 2013 10:06 pm
Did he really say he was going back down. He should really cos he’s still young and would be at ww for the rest of his career. 5’6″ is quite small even for ww. If he’s as good as the hype is suggesting, he would be on a collision course with floyd some where in the next two years. Still some cracking fights to be made at 140. I do think if he goes down it will cheapen this latest title, it really does need a solid defence as Paulie was not a very strong champ. It will just look like a quick snatch and run of an abc belt. Agree?Posted June 29, 2013 9:59 pm
Broner should go down to 140. He is too small for 147. He doesnt have the speed n power at 147. Paulie bet him really.Posted June 29, 2013 9:46 pm
Broner = Exposed.Posted June 29, 2013 9:33 pm
Everything about Broner says “bully,” “classless,” and “coward.” He won’t fight anyone unless he has a weight advantage. He already experinced difficulty with Paulie who was not a strong puncher. He Broner knows that any of the top guys at 140 and 147 will beat his ass. He knows it and so do his promoters.Posted June 29, 2013 9:31 pm
I think Teddy Atlas made a good point about the Malignaggi v Broner fight, Broner was only throwing 1-2 punches, not 3-4 punch combinations, as he might of got caught on the 3rd punch or 4th by mover like Malignaggi, so he was adapting to the fight, it still was not a good performance by Broner.Posted June 29, 2013 9:29 pm
hell chris john would beat paulie, so would past prime Vic Darchyin. There are a lot of good fights for broner at 140. maidana would be too much for broner.Posted June 29, 2013 9:11 pm
hahaha what are you smoking because I wan’t some of that, if for some reason broner grows a pair and fight’s maidana it’s over for him, but I really think he is going to run back to the lower weight’s to fight lesser compition because in the JWW you have khan,Garcia, mathysse waiting for him to be honest he needs to go back to LW so he can look like a copy of mayweatherPosted June 29, 2013 9:11 pm
The Mad Scientist
This is a good fight for Broner, risky but winnable maybe even with ease..step up Boner its worth the riskPosted June 29, 2013 9:08 pm
Maidana will get destroyed by Broner. It’s hard to look good vs a feather punching running fly like Malignaggi. Broner is the best from 140-154. He has speed, power, boxing skills, great movement and thinks in the ring. Mathysse, Garcia, Maidana, Bradley, Marquez and Mayweather all take a beating. This kid has all the tools, and without a doubt is an ATG. Watch him, and you’ll see him keep winning. He runs his mouth, but he can back it up.Posted June 29, 2013 9:04 pm
