No, that’s the opinion of MANY men, TARK, and YOU KNOW IT!!!

TARK

That is one man’s opinion Squared Circle…

The public will line up for Haye-Fury more than for Wladimir-Pinyetta … LOL

YOU KNOW IT!!!

Squared-Circle Real Talk (a.k.a. The Lion King of Beat Street)

Haye already proved that he’s not a formidable title challenger for the K Bros. And a win over an overrated giant who’s barely a Top-10 contender isn’t enough to warrant a title fight with a Klitschko.

Whoever wins ??? Haye wins, he’s faster and has much more experience.

Squared-Circle Real Talk (a.k.a. The Lion King of Beat Street)

Fury is just a young kid and barely a TOP-10 contender. Almost everyone expects Haye to win, so it’s not going to be some big accomplishment if he does. It’s not as if Haye deserves another shot at a K-Bro just for beating Fury.

Fury comes from nothing and is more than happy to get KTFO for 2 MILLION.
Everybody expects him to lose anyway, so it’s not like it’s going to ruin his young career. Like him or hate him, he’s a crazy live-dog and entertaining to watch.

Right… Joe Frazier had 5 fights he didn’t win… He fought one big, tall, 217+ puncher in his whole life.. and he gets smashed.. So he’s an ATG???

“What is so mouth-watering about this fight since everyone seems to be picking a brutal knockout victory for Haye??”

Haye nuthuggers gets to see their man in the ring again against another Brit bum. Then talk about how he is an ATG when he wins.

hope this fight comes though. Fury cant make any mistakes with Haye

Posted July 9, 2013 12:23 am

TARK

Cunningham is weak… He’s old… can’t fight inside at all… and has a weak chin.. Jennings wanted Fury after the fight, and I can see why.. Jennings wants to take on Pulev and that is a monster tough fight for him.. I’m not sure what happened to that fight.. It was supposed to be a done deal.

Pulev hasn’t fought in 10 months.. Guys have been pulling out on him.

Fury couldn’t KO Johnson who is all bark, got knocked down by Cunningham. I’ll take Haye by KO. And I don’t like Hate cause he is all talk when it comes to elite fighters but none elite fighters he knocks them out. If Fury signs which I have my doubts then he will fall

Posted July 8, 2013 10:28 pm

Rapid

Not to mention Haye is faster than Cunningham.

Posted July 8, 2013 10:10 pm

I disagree Tark. Haye is not a pure enough boxer to box circle around Fury. Haye is a hoverer. He hovers just outside punching range and then WHAM…. darts in and throws explosive combo’s and then quickly distances himself again. Haye is a great Ambush fighter. He is a sniper.

That being said, Fury is very very quick on his feet. In fact his athletic prowess is vastly underrated by most fans and experts alike. Also, fury is a pressure fighter. He gets in close, and throws short punches. He mixes his punches as well. While Fury does have a pretty good jab, he fights inside exceptionally well. Particularly for a man his size. I stand by my pick. If Haye fails to get Fury out of there in the first 5 rounds or so, then I expect to see Haye get worn down and most likely stopped late in the fight. Some will call it a upset, I don’t think it will be that big of a upset honestly.

Is Fury really delusional enough to think he can get in the ring with Haye and NOT get KTFO? I guess we’ll soon find out…

Posted July 8, 2013 8:29 pm

TARK

Fury comes to the show in great condition. That’s why this will be a terrific fight … He also has real punching power and massive size and strength.

What he doesn’t have is boxing skills… He’s kind of like Gerry Cooney at this point, except he’s a lot smarter and faster — and a lot bigger.

Until he develops his skills to a higher level guys like David Haye are going to box circles around him — and probably knock him out late in the fight — Because his chin hasn’t been taken out yet.. He can absorb a real good hit flush on the chin … That lasts only so long in the heavyweight class. That chin goes faster in this division because the hits you take are unreal.

Boring

RObert

Haye has a window of opportunity between rounds 1 through 5 in my opinion. If he fails to KO Fury in that window, I think he himself will be broken down by the much younger bigger and stronger man. Fury does not fade in fights at all. That is why it is silly to hear people question his conditioning. Fury comes in at excellent fighting condition everytime.

some call him the hayemaker i prefer to think of him as ha ha haye because of his flop fest vs WK

Posted July 8, 2013 6:52 pm

MAGOMED ABDUSALAMOV

if haye fights like he did vs chomper chisora fury has real problems

hey BRUCE like your take on the fight

he’s ducked so many how can anyone take him seriously

SC – you seem rather agitated my man

Posted July 8, 2013 6:40 pm

Money says he’ll sign but I’m thinking Haye will take him out in 2. Enzo fight all over again…

Maybe Lion-King vs. Whipped can be put on the undercard of Haye-Fury. I can hear Michael Buffer now: LET’S GET READY TO RUMBLE!

Posted July 8, 2013 5:42 pm

Whipped

All of Lion Kings fears are realised and look at the back pedalling. Only days ago he was spruiking that Haye was running scared of everyone. Of course this was to deflect the true facts of Fury running from Price and Pulev. Fury and SC are like for like, 2 big mouths who shut down when they are challenged. Let’s see Fury get out of this one.

MNboxingFAN – Sean

Haye is crazy! How can you do nothing as a heavyweight and barely ever even fight and think you can get away with demanding fights and calling out guys and saying they are ducking you. I applaud Haye for wanting to fight the best, but get in line dude. Seriously. You’ve got some nerve man. Besides you’d probably stub your toe and pull out of the fight regardless…

Posted July 8, 2013 3:13 pm

Prof Konje

Fury is all mouth, plain and simple. Whether he fights Thompson or Haye he’ll lose. Both Thompson and Haye can box, have experience, and K.O. power, especially Haye. Fury is just a large bully and that’s all he is.

Posted July 8, 2013 2:40 pm

CROMWELL

@sc: Cram it!

Posted July 8, 2013 2:24 pm

mack

I think Haye would catch Fury early, just like Cuningham did, but, of course, Haye is a much bigger puncher. Still, Fury could get knocked out for a lot less money. If he fights Haye and loses, well, he is still young enough to rebuild. If fury gets 50/50 or better, he should take the fight.

Posted July 8, 2013 2:01 pm

TARK

Giving that type of split shows that Haye wants this fight very badly…

Obviously Chisora was Haye’s peak fight.. He shouldn’t try to train “even harder” for Fury.. He’ll break something or sprain something — like a back, a toe, a hand, or a wrist..

He needs to tone it down and cruise through camp without stressing something, and save his venom for the fight … He’s a little too intense.

Posted July 8, 2013 1:59 pm

matthews

Haye wants to split 50/50 with fury. Lol

Posted July 8, 2013 1:47 pm

Popkins

These days Haye can fight absolutely anyone and make shed loads of cash. He sold out the MEN with Ruiz and Audley! Even the Charr fight was a sell out. I’d like to see Haye demolish Fury, but if I was Tyson’s manager I’d opt for the Thompson fight to help spin his career out a bit longer. Fury would have a reasonable shot of beating the yank, but the Hayemaker will wipe the floor with him.

Posted July 8, 2013 1:28 pm

Lenin

Vladimir K. vs. Pulev will happen in 2014, no doubt about that. Pulev’s problem in 2013 is to find big heavies to prepare him for the fight, because all the others don’t want to fight him.

Posted July 8, 2013 1:12 pm

Squared-Circle Real Talk (a.k.a. The Lion King of Beat Street)

Haye wants Fury, but not Pulev, Thompson or Povetkin. Thompson wants Fury or Vitali, but not Haye or Pulev. Pulev wants Haye, Fury, Thompson, Povetkin, the Klitschkos — or any top contender for that matter.

Fury appears to be young, mixed-up crazy kid who doesn’t know what the F he really wants right now. He probably wants to avoid “Pulling a Price” and de-railing his career with poor decision making. But he’s definitely gonna sign a contract to fight one of these guys — and soon.

Xavier

Haye-Pulev would be good in any case. Pulev is a tough man.

Posted July 8, 2013 12:49 pm

Xavier

If Tyson doesn’t take the Haye fight if it’s there, he’s gonna look like he’s all bluster. On the other hand, Fury-Thompson would be a good bout too. TT is not as dangerous as Haye, but he’s got the tools and smarts to test Fury and posdibly beat him as well.

Posted July 8, 2013 12:47 pm

Granpa

Think your wrong on the 2nd point. I think Haye will try to make the Pulev fight if the Fury one falls through. Beating Pulev would make him mandatory.I origionall thought Haye was playing games with Fury, getting him to miss the Pulev fight so Haye could step in in his place.

Posted July 8, 2013 12:43 pm

Lenin

Things I’m pretty sure about:
1. Fury won’t fight Haye.
2. Neither Fury nor Haye will fight Pulev.

Posted July 8, 2013 12:39 pm

dwc

Gregory and JeffC….Both you guys make good points.I do think Haye beats Fury at this point, but it would be a good learning experance for young Tyson. And in the long run Fury would become the better fighter for it down the road.A Thompson fight for Fury is also decent a guy who could hang with him and make him work. Both are good fights for Fury overall with Haye being much more risky, but a lost at this time is no big deal and what he could learn from it makes up for it.And who knows maybe Fury could pull off a upset with Haye…maybe.

big mistake for Fury

Tyson better sign or he’ll look like a real puss puss.

Posted July 8, 2013 12:24 pm

Boesman

Fury is never going to sign this. He will ge ktfo’d and even he know it. He will fight the Tiger and beat him easy.

Posted July 8, 2013 12:13 pm

Gregory

Hope he fights TT . That would be much competetive fight imo. Haye is levels above and should take Pulev. Both fights would be very entertaining.

Posted July 8, 2013 11:49 am

JeffC

If I was anything to do with Furys management, I would fight Thompson, and make Haye dance to my tune. Haye thinks he can play the public for fools all the time, I personally think, he ‘s not sure if he really can beat Fury, but, even if he doesn’t, he will once again go and pick up a BIG payday and trot off to the bank. It’s come to the point where he now needs Fury to make another big purse, Fury does not at this time need him. Make him go out and fight another TOP heavyweight , then make the Fury-Haye fight.
