BASBOX1:

WILL EMANUEL STEWARD HAVE THE TIME TO BE WITH AND TEACH HIM ?????? WITH HIS BUSY SCHEDULE ??? ANALYST , PROMOTER , MANGER OF NUMEROUS, BOXERS, …… BE FOR REAL ! IT’S TIME TO ALLOW ” OTHER ” TRAINERS A CHANCE TO SHOW THEIR WARES ( STEWARD AND ROACH ) CAN’T TRAIN THE ” ENTIRE ” BOXING LAND SCAPE , AND DO THE GOOOOOD JOB THAT THEY ARE EXPECTED TO DO, THEY ARE NOT ” GOD ALMIGHTY ” !!!!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THEIR MOST RECENT PROJECTS , AND THAT OUGHT TO TELL YOU SOMETHING !!!!!!!!

If khan gets hit in the head area and it doesn’t have to be a solid hit he goes down wobbly. His weakness as we all know is his head defense. The punch that gets him is a left hook to the head. He comes in fast throwing combos but he is getting timed for a good left hook to the head. He may just ignore that punch coming thinking he can throw Another combo then he gets caught.
From now on he better improve on his head movement and footwork. He looks like he’s looking and pauses to unleash his combo.

Boxter- I agree with you 100%! This new format is much harder on the eyes. Sometimes change is not good!

Only he truly knows in his heart if he is getting the proper attention from Roach. Maybe he is and maybe he isn’t. I don’t think there is anything bad with change. Just hope he gets the right trainer and is open to learning.

No trainer on earth can solve the glass chin issue.

The real question is could ESB return back to its senses and give us back the boxing website we all loved and understood before turning it into this current monstrosity!?

Cotto, Hatton, Margarito, etc. Those skills were taught to him, not just natural ability.

Freddie told the idiot between rounds to use his jab and not be so reckless. so what does he do? He comes out and is as reckless as he can be and gets caught!
I guess its Freddies fault he is too stupid to listen to good advice!

With that said Steward is in my opinion the best cornerman out there, but Freddie is a close second.

mvmike

Its not Freddies fault Kahn has a glass jaw. This is the third time we’ve seen this.

Of course Emanuel Steward could replace Freddie Roach, he’s a much beter cornerman.

I don’t blame Khan I think Roach is way over-rated as a coach. It would do Manny the power of good to ditch him as well. Khan needs someone who is gunna spend a lot of time with him and actually teach the kid some defensive moves.

Traveling Wilburys greatest hits

Imagine Khan lost his fight!!!!

Koko b ware

Fact is Steward have nobody left but klits, all student got battered as dirty rugs. Steward have a lotta free time so he’s in the right position for Khan next lost. Garcia just simply too strong for khan, he will ko khan again.

The Mad Scientist

As far as Khan saying he wasn’t getting enough attention from his trainer is just an excuse for his loss to Garcia..believing his own hype trying to be Manny Pacquiao has and Roach not being a good fit for him have always been his problem..

The Mad Scientist

Freddy Roach seems to be a pretty good trainer for guys who have natural fighting ability not pure boxers wich A mere Con has the potential to be if he can highten his ring IQ..

Nazi Joe

If Khan would shake in the ring like Freddie does outside it

I think he would have better success guarding that glass chin

Amir was winning the fight except for 1 punch. That isn’t freddie’s fault, Amir got too confident and dropped his hands and got caught. That is down to experience and maturity which Freddie can only do so much to change.

He does need to improve his inside game and defence – maybe Pernell Whitaker could be the guy to do that.

Slater is spot on. Nuff said.
