Feather-fisted is correct but if he can put enough early speed together and paste a few the ref might be premature and give a free ride, NOPE, won’t happen. Scott refuses to engage in a real flurry, especially against a threat like DelBoy. This will be a stalker who is hopefully in good shape, and the pics look like he’s on the correct path, trouble for Scott.Posted July 19, 2013 3:19 am
Demolish Chisora? Better yet, demolish period? He is very Chris Byrd-like (feather fisted heavy). So unless he is allowed to use a bat or something, demolish is a bit sensational when talking about what Scott will do.Posted July 18, 2013 11:40 pm
Chisora fights aren’t boring… He eats punches and keeps coming… Malik has to be in super shape and not soft like Helenius and Fury. He needs that conditioning to just keep throwing all night long, or for as long as Chisora stays upright… If he ever gets tired he’s in trouble.
If he wins every round, I don’t see how they can rob him.Posted July 18, 2013 10:11 pm
I’ve seen Malik Scott fight live and he was horribly boring and his opponent did NOTHING, I think it was Bowie Tupua who just stood in front of Malik and bobbed and weaved but hardly threw 2 punches a round.
Dereck Chisora may be flawed but he does apply relentless and effective pressure, I say he should be able to win at least a decision as Malik throws maybe 5 punches a round and tries to stink it out, Chisora on activity.Posted July 18, 2013 12:37 pm
I love Chisora, hope he get’s to avenge the Fury loss after Haye smashes him up in September!Posted July 18, 2013 12:26 pm

Scott can talk the talk but can’t walk the walk. Scott is afraid to encounter. Del Bopy will walk him down all night long and the hometown judges will give DC the win. Borefest with Scott running the whole fight, not willing to engage other than long distance jabs on his heel.Posted July 18, 2013 2:22 am
Del boy will boss Scott, he dont have the power to stop it, and thats one lean hungry looking Chisora, Scott is in trouble.Posted July 17, 2013 6:18 pm
Туson Gау : Helenius is out for some time due to a handinjury.Posted July 17, 2013 5:57 pm
Scott could easily win a decision over Chisora here—but something really bothers me. All the idiot talk about destroying Chisora from Jesse Reid.
Reid has Scott spouting his mantra of KO and devastation. Scott has a 33% KO ratio… Malik is no puncher… He never hurt a lot of opponents you never heard of… He never hurt his last opponent Glazkov, who had only 14 fights and weighed 220… Chisora has 20 fights, goes 245, and has gone the distance with Fury, Helenius, and Vitali.
True enough, a peak David Haye, a 2-Division World Champion with a KO ratio of 86%, clobbered Chisora with masterful ease. That was one of the rare fights where Haye showed up in perfect physical condition.
Can Scott do anything close to that??? Most probably he can’t… When you’re not a puncher and you try to knock somebody out??? … You often get nailed yourself. That’s why most trainers say, “Don’t go for the KO.”Posted July 17, 2013 3:38 pm

I just took DC. This fight is a joke and if it happens to be close DC will get it. They have no shame over therePosted July 17, 2013 3:13 pm

Scott will never get a decision there. And Scott is the most unheard of unbeaten heavy American ever. And he has no resume. I have never even seen him on tvPosted July 17, 2013 2:29 pm
F.A….Agreed..Posted July 17, 2013 2:01 pm
I agree with you guys. Scott may well win, but he doesn’t often “demolish” anyone. I’m picking Scott on points, but if he leaves it close, he will lose the decision. He is the visiting fighter and no one likes a safety first style of boxing.Posted July 17, 2013 1:13 pm
you don’t have the power to demolish anything, stfu.Posted July 17, 2013 12:52 pm
Scott has never “demolished” anyone. What he’ll do is pot shot Chisora and bore him to death. Scott wins a snorebore decision.Posted July 17, 2013 12:45 pm
