All sport entities are organized. Boxing should have a national
control board. Senators McCain & Reid should act sooner than
later. Teddy Atlas would be an excellent choice to help in this
endeavor. br should make this a priority to publicize it. The
rewards would be immense!

I don’t think it’s good news at all. HBO already has too much control over boxing. The partnership with ESPN can only mean one thing: It’s gonna cost more for boxing fans to watch fights.

This is good news for boxing fans. The more eyes there are seeing boxing programs the better. By “combining resources” I wonder if that means HBO will put some money into the FNF? If so that would significantly buoy the quality of the cards. They’re not specific about the details of what that means aside from ESPN getting to show fighter interviews and the 24/7 series.
