Squared-Circle Real Talk (a.k.a. The Lion King of Beat Street)

One of the best final round comebacks I’ve ever seen! Molina has much more heart and balls than skills, but it was very impressive to see him so far behind on the cards and come back for the knockout towards the end of the very last round. Intense drama and simply unforgettable!

Dude should have taken a knee, then again he was knocked out on his feet. With his brain shut down he did not have the instincts to survive.

I didn’t see that they told him what had happened. But then again there have been plenty of fights where fighters can’t recall what happened after a certain round. Ive seen fighters interviewed and they where like I remember what happened up to the 5th and I can’t remember the other 7 rounds. Well boxing is the only sport you can be winning the whole fight and it can all end with one punch in the last round.

Peej are you crazy?
Bey was asking what happened at the end of the fight .
Had no clue to where he was or what he was doing there.
A minute more and the guy would be in a hospital as we speak.
Great stoppage and great fight.
What a warrior Molina is, he just kept coming.

what a marvellous comeback. had his ears boxed off for 9 and a half rounds, connects with a left hook, sees his opponent is hurt, then throws the kitchen sink at him. wonderful work, and a very correct stoppage by the referee, bey was toast

I disagree that he was too hurt to take a knee. He was still coherent to duck a couple punches and he was trying to tie up but it just seemed he didn’t know how. I still think it could of went a little longer. But props to Molina in showing that never quit attitude

That must have been the most satisfying win for Molina after being dominated for nine rounds. Perfect stoppage by the ref. Bey was completely out and there is a reason he didn’t take a knee, he was way too hurt to think straight.

Where’s boxtra at,probably predicted a skooling from the trt team member but couldn’t see the upset stoppage lol.But he’ll still probably claim he knew molina had the power. going in.

on the other hand, I predict Mayweather (I am not one of his fans) will whip Canelo, no problem for him … if Mayweather thought Canelo was a major problem for him, the fight wouldn’t have been made – Mayweather is determined to retire undefeated, and picks his fights with that in mind …

‘Pratt’ watched the same fight I did – the Referee was correct to stop it when he did – nothing to be gained from a few extra seconds, except unnecessary injury, Bey was in bad trouble

The Molina vs Bey fight will have no effect on how Floyd thinks with Canelo

The ref should not have stopped that fight. In my opinion that was a bad stoppage. But good win also, by Molina. He showed heart and a never quit attitude. That is what Bey gets for showboating. He should of stayed on him. Bey was looking like he was trying to move out of the way of some punches and he also threw 2 punches back. But all in all this falls on Bey. He should of took a knee. Never give the ref a reason to stop it. And what Bey was warned for was illegal. You can’t paw with your glove and you can’t push off

Great win for Molina who needed this badly. A true crossroads for his career. The dude’s skills are average but he’s got balls. and when he lands flush he can close out nicely.

“fighting 2 or 3 people in there?” really, I thought the ref did a fine job. I don’t recall any, or many, warnings. Funny….. His corner never taught him to hold when he’s hurt with 59 seconds left, but they taught him the ole “ref screwed me routine.”

Also, Where the F does Floyd Sr go when people of his lose….to get a hot dog? He’s never in the ring after they get their asses handed to them. Usually the corner man beats the Dr in the ring. Mayweather Sr is a FairWeather trainer. You win, he stays. You lose and he tries to beat traffic.

Enjoyed the fight. Loved the last round. Never Give UP.
