I see people saying why is everyone thinking Pulev is so great or the heir to the throne. I think that k-pul is not great, but good at everything.where as Most boxers are good in some areas and weak in others. He’s very well rounded, even though he has had few pro fights. So he’s not elite, lb 4 lb or GOAT, he just does alot of things good would be my answer. He’s also got things working for him like his chin is pretty solid. Now, ranking wise, I would say this guy definitely gets stopped or UD’d by Wlad and possibly Bermane Stiverne. I also can’t see him beating David Haye. A good fit for Pulev in my opinion is 4th Overall possibly. At best I would rank him as an on the cusp, major belt holder, but not overall #1 of the future. There are guys out there that feel that they are te ruler of the future however that would be quite smart to stay far from K-pul, most notably Deontay Wilder. I think Pulev (who as I said does alot of things good) would end the hype for Wilder who is unpolished and very raw/tough man contest styled as a fighter. It would be a very bad night for DW. Same for the 2 Furys’. I could see Pulev getting a decision over Tony Thompson because they are both good fighters but I see Pulev being more welcoming of 12 rounds of wear and age will favor kubrat.Posted July 24, 2013 11:38 pm
They need to get the best 12 heavys out there and have each fight one round against wladimar. They would all be fresh and wladimar would be fighting all 12 rounds. I be no one would win a round.Posted July 24, 2013 9:37 pm

PULEVPosted July 24, 2013 3:15 pm
Pulev really has a great resume for a fighter 3 years into his pro run – Wilder has been pro 2 years longer has 10 more fights though he has not fought the poorest boxer on Pulev’s resume…..Posted July 24, 2013 2:44 pm
These are the 2 best heavyweights in the world not named Klitschko so it only makes sense they fight each other. I take “Tiger” Tony Thompson over Pulev. I can not imagine poor Wladimir having to fight “Tiger” again. Asking Wladimir to defend against the massive powerful south paw “Tiger ” 3 times would have to go down as one of the greatest accomplishments in the Heavy Weight divisons storied history. To beat a man as talented as “Tiger” Thompson three times though will be very difficult for even as great a champion as Wladimir. I reckon he will secretly be hoping for a Pulev victory.Posted July 24, 2013 1:36 pm
You want to see a war see PULEV vs FREIGHT TRAIN
I’d like to see just for the post-fight interviewPosted July 24, 2013 9:12 am

Price is not overated he just lost to an the most underrated havy. And we saw what it takes to beat Thompson you have to totally stop him like klitchko wich is very hard to do ,only knocking him down is not enough because he will come back at you for 12 rounds and if you are not 100% prepared he will make you quit !!!Posted July 24, 2013 5:33 am
Thompson is a tougher fight than dimitrenko and ustinov. Good fightPosted July 24, 2013 1:57 am
thompson admits he cant beat vladimir…whom he lists as an atg…but he wants to prove hes the best of the rest…..pulev is a good place to start…Posted July 23, 2013 10:05 pm
Nobody wants to see it except Thompson… $$$$$ Cha-Ching.. From the strength of his effort, that’s what he was thinking with his last “fight” vs Wlad.Posted July 23, 2013 9:44 pm
Nothing againt Thompson, he probably gave at least in the first fight W Klitschko’s most difficult fight, though I might put Calvin Groves up there to. But after the second fight, would anyone really want to see Wlad Klitschko-Tony Thompson III.Posted July 23, 2013 6:39 pm

Thompson is in trouble in this one. KO by Pulev.Posted July 23, 2013 12:44 pm
i like thompson but he got alot of high marks for beating an overrated price.Posted July 23, 2013 12:20 pm
pulev beat thompson late stoppage. pulev also beat chrisora dispite what the british say.Posted July 23, 2013 12:11 pm

If pulev takes this fight it is going to be a bad choice because he won’t have an easy night with Thompson and a tough close win over Thompson Won’t help him look good and that is what is going to happen for sure!i give him credit for taking the fight thoughPosted July 23, 2013 6:33 am

Yeah I will give haye an awesome performance over chisora and I favor haye to beat fury. But to me its more like giving haye the benefit of the doubt.
How good is chisora really? I think its hard to define that. From fury (who I struggle to define how good he is especially after the cunningham fight which I enjoyed watchi.g live n got a kick outta furys singing)
From injured one armed helenius and vitaly.
From looking at the body of work of both chisora and haye I have to say I have nothing but doubts or unknowns. At the same time from the tape I would have to favor haye or give him a good shot against all fighters.
But seriously haye looked good against just chisora. Haye looked a little under par against ruiz, barret, wlad ( a lot under par vs wlad), and with valueve and the size difference its hard to really use that against haye yet some due when comparing holyfields peformance vs valueve as opposed to hayes.
Either haye is very good and chisora’s a good litmus test/gate keeper……..or hayes not that great. Really all haye has is his chisora fight and I’m reluctant to base my views off one performance against an opponent whose quality is questionable. Before chisora haye was mushroom stamped on his forehead by wlad (c his face after the fight from a wlad strait right). And haye was beating the 39 and 40 year olds in the heavy division and getting his face marked up in the process by ruiz and barret.
I will give haye the benefit of the doubt at this point but I would be remiss if I didn’t say there’s some doubt.Posted July 23, 2013 4:29 am

pulev-thompson or pulev-chisora or pulev-haye or pulev-fury or pulev-adamek or pulev-wilder or pulev-povetkin or pulev-jennings or pulev-kbro or pulev-areola . . . will someone jump in the ring with kubret pulev?Posted July 23, 2013 2:43 am
I like Pulev vs Thompson. I think it is a very good match up. And one that means something in the top of tier two, tier one being the brothers. A MUCH better fight and MUCH more meaningful than Banks-Mitchell x2, Price- Thompson x2 or Chisora-Scott. I’m not sure either Pulev of Thompson trouble a brother but I’m struggling to find a fighter who does. As to who wins…..dunno.Posted July 23, 2013 1:25 am
Bfan…, I don’t think you know Boxing.. You sure as Hell didn’t watch PUlev’s last 2 fights vs the gigantic Dimitrenko and Ustinov. Obviously he was the only one who ever came close to stopping them. He literally beat the crap out of them.Posted July 23, 2013 1:20 am
Haye wins every round vs Chisora by a mile … and crushes him early.
Not exactly a bum fight I would say … since nobody else ever came close to stopping Chisora.. If it wasn’t for that performance, Haye wouldn’t be a big favorite to beat the 6’9″ X 250, undefeated Fury, who is coming off wins over Kevin Johnson and Steve Cunningham.. Haye was in super condition for his last fight, I wonder if he can repeat that. It’s always hard to duplicate your best effort.Posted July 23, 2013 1:16 am
Not impressed by Pulev at all. I don’t think he beats Thompson.Posted July 23, 2013 12:45 am
Just watched some Pulev videos. Fury, Haye, Thompsen all crush him easily. He sucks overrated. Doesn’t throw enough punches to beat Fury, gets caught by Haye and outsmarted by Thompsen !Posted July 22, 2013 9:35 pm
People say haye could beat everyon not named klitschko but all the guys hayehas fought not name klitschko have pretty much been chisora handing him his 4th loss in a row and all the 39 and 40 year old heavyweights.
Haye I yet to fight te best contenders. If haye cannot impress against fury. Than haye isn’t half as badass as some of these folks are making out.
How good is haye at heavy? Its still hard to say. Isn’t haye retired or talking of retirement? That’s all I think of when I think of haye. Bum fights, threats of fake retirement, and fake retirement.Posted July 22, 2013 9:24 pm
This fight makes sense. It was funny all the people talkn smack about ttt > tony the tiger thompson. Where r they now?
Would love to see this bout. Although I favored thomspon to beat price. I favor pulev in this matchup.Posted July 22, 2013 9:20 pm
Wlad vs Thompson for a 3rd time! go Pulev.Posted July 22, 2013 8:54 pm
Haye would beat Pulev reasonably easily, probably by a devastating KO, Haye would only have trouble again v Wladimir Klitschko, who is very quick for his size.Posted July 22, 2013 8:48 pm
Squared-Circle Real Talk (a.k.a. The Lion King of Beat Street)
“Pulev is the odd man out… Nobody wants to fight him. Adamek, Fury, and Jennings all bugged out on him.”
True… and you can also add David Haye to that list and probably even Povetkin.Posted July 22, 2013 8:13 pm
I’ll never doubt tony again Top fighter top blokePosted July 22, 2013 7:00 pm
But should Thompson win why should we suffer through him getting beat up by a Klit yet again?Posted July 22, 2013 6:53 pm
Good fight no doubt.Like someone else said I belive Pulev is abit overrated,I agree. But Pulev is very durable, and steadfast and is younger then the aging Thompson.Winner should get a title fight and it would be Pulev getting the shot I belive.Posted July 22, 2013 6:48 pm
I like Klubratt, but I still keep seeing that fight against Freight Train where he didn’t look that good.Posted July 22, 2013 6:38 pm
Chisora will be fighting Pulev next, Chisora fights everyone, only had a few fights and fought everyone who is anything at heavyweight.Posted July 22, 2013 6:17 pm
Pulev is the odd man out… Nobody wants to fight him. Adamek, Fury, and Jennings all bugged out on him.
Sure Thompson will fight him. He has nothing to lose.
Thompson has been ducked by ranking fighters for 12 years, so Pulev says, “Tell me about it.”Posted July 22, 2013 6:04 pm
Pulev has great jab yes but its his movement his feet there nearly as good as wlad. Also hard as nails mate will box and fight till the end very strong boxerPosted July 22, 2013 5:58 pm
Good fight. Pulev’s talent against Thompson’s experience. They say Hughie Fury is also lobbying to fight Thompson. That win over Price really buoyed his career. Lots of interesting fights for him now.Posted July 22, 2013 5:55 pm
I must say that Pulev looked very good in his last fights, but i would like to see him step it up before getting a shot at the title. And i dont know if Thompson is good enough.Posted July 22, 2013 5:21 pm
Seen pulev fight on yutube. He is a lil over rated! However i think he will beat thompson. But i dont think he is goin to just smash him out!Posted July 22, 2013 5:16 pm
Hey, That’s My Bike!!!
I haven’t seen Pulev fight. I’m wondering why everyone thinks Pulev is the ‘Master of Disaster’ with only 9KO next to 17 fights? Has he fought quality opposition early in his career? Are his boxing skills that far above other challengers, prospects out there? Just asking why everyone seems to think this Pulev is a beast or the future of the heavyweight division.Posted July 22, 2013 4:17 pm
Chisora will be fighting Pulev, that’s who Frank Warren was talking about.Posted July 22, 2013 4:01 pm
I read that Pulev and Thompson are in negotiations for a fight to take place in Germany. But I also read that Chisora and Pulev are scheduled to meet this September. What’s going on? What’s the truth?Posted July 22, 2013 3:38 pm
if pulev takes out thompson, does he get a shot at a K-bro????Posted July 22, 2013 3:36 pm
