It’s Me, Ernie

He’s allergic to leather…

I think Berto might be allergic to getting punched in the face.

It’s Me, Ernie

I am a big fan of Thurman. He looks good as far as offense and ring generalship go against the level of competition he has been in with. Not enough experience yet for the likes of Floyd’s abilities though…

Berto looks like he hugged a bee hive in that photo. What Berto really needs is better refs in his fights. I mean really, did he know he was going to have an MMA fight with Guerrero? You know, Robert? The guy who should change his handle from “The Ghost” to “Huggy?”

Thurman is the best welterweight right now by far he is the one that can beat mayweather what he is lacking though is good promoters , he is getting tough fights and he is dominating but he is not getting the credit for and now again he takes this unbeaten guy who based on his résumé can punch and could be a tough cookie but no one knows him and beating him and even if the guy is very good he won’t get any credit ..Thurman should get a fight with the likes of Guerrero broner (if he stays in ww) berto etc.. To get more recognition !

Berto was a better fighter than Soto-Karass, but it’s hard to beat anyone when you totally gas out after 5 rounds. Soto-Karass may not be that great, but he’s no quitter and I’m sure he’s just waiting for Berto to gas out. Haven’t seen this Chaves kid fight.

Alonzo your step by step is the BEST YET

Posted July 23, 2013 9:37 am

Ortiz just gives out a kiss never a shoulder roll….LOL
I think this could be a new dance……give me a best…..DO DA SHOULDER ROLL

Posted July 23, 2013 9:35 am

At least Berto finishes his Fights. He has that going for him. Ortiz would have QUIT vs Guerrero.

Directions for boxing: 1. Roll your right shoulder. 2. Jab. 3. Duck into your opponents punch due to misuse of #1. 4. Strain to look through swollen eyes. 5. Roll left shoulder. 6. Shrug both shoulders after the referee raises your opponents hand.

Posted July 22, 2013 7:11 pm

Is that shoulder roll dude?

Posted July 22, 2013 6:40 pm

Fight Aficionado

Berto should be on Showbox with this bout; giving dudes easy comeback wins are not Showtime Championship Boxing material.

Posted July 22, 2013 5:52 pm

Easy win for Berto

Posted July 22, 2013 3:39 pm

Tomato Can

Sounds like a pretty good card. Thurman looks like he’s matched well here, on paper anyways.
