Make no mistake folks, Cotto takes Rod into the deep and stops him by way of TKO round 8 or 9.

Cotto has to win via KO! to build his rep back up.

Kid Blast is exactly correct. Rodriguez has the size and length advantage in most fights but never utilizes them. He needs to lead with a hard jab and straight right, instead he hooks on the inside. Always frustrating when tall boxers do that.

Hidalgo, good point. He also doesn’t take advantage of his size.

This one has really peaked my interest so I’m planning to go down there and watch it live. Then visit Disney Land lol

Although he’s had some major let-downs in some fights, and robbed in some, Del is still a tough fight for anyone. A good fight can be expected from both fighters

how much this boxer ill making it look cotto getting all the money!

Hidalgo

I like Delvin, Kid Blast but he has a tendency to take too long to get into gear. I think Miguel’s pressure and resiliency will pose a bit of a problem early in the fight, but Delvin should be able to box his way to a UD victory.

Cotto will wim by KO. I will restore credibility to this GREAT name that has been mis used with IMMACURATE predictions from the past YEARS!

A quick start will mean an early finish. D will come out, expend, tire and get taken apart around rd. six – seven. TKO. Cotto is older and wiser, been in with way better opposition and knows he doesn’t need to brawl when he can think and box. His counters will be noticed. Cotto watched D over and over and knows what he can take advantage of.

Should be a good match up at this stage of Cotto’s career ……Delvin is as tall (long) if not taller than Austin Trout ….Though his not a huge puncher , Cotto best chance is to attack his body with right hands and then come straight back up the middle , with uppercuts …Though working the body of Delvin should be a priority, as he keeps his hands up ..And Cotto being the mental little midget that he is the body will be easier than the head ……..It will be interesting to see if Delvin comes after Cotto ??? If not Cotto will have to try to create the openings himself , at least early on ………….

Kid Blast

Perfect storm for D-Rod. He is a slashing puncher who cuts up his opponents.

Cotto, on the other hand, has become vulnerable to facials abrasions and cuts.

This one could be the dream that finally comes through for the dangerous Rodriguez whom I have been following for years.

Great fight possibility here.

Delvin Rodriguez is no cake walk and Cotto has not been the same guy in his last fights. I struggle to call this fight.

Cotto is a warrior, all heart and passion but Rodriguez is going to pull out the bag of tricks to elevate his career. Dangerous fight for Cotto.

i’ve been wanting this bout since Cotto moved up to 154lbs. IMO, Delvin is a worthy and dangerous opponent. even a prime Cotto’s advantages would be compromised by the size disadvantages. what’s left of Cotto should be all but not more than Delvin can handle. because of the size disadvantages, Cotto’s best and perhaps only option is to dig-in and punish. however, i don’t doubt that Delvin might hit hard enough to persuade Cotto to keep his distance at which point i think the momentum shifts in Rodriguez’s favor. this figures to be a competitive matchup while it lasts.

Mark my words, Delvin is going to win this.

You need to better edit your article. Quite a few writers need edited. I’ve been faithful to this site for a few years now, and the unprofessional writing has done me in. This is garbage

FEARS

Rodriguez, on a good night will be a handful for Cotto and he very well should be motivated for an opportunity like this; however, he has looked terrible in his last two outings.
