NOTE: I didn’t say Soto will win, just listing the implications of a Berto loss. I think Berto will win, without having watched much of Karass… he just doesn’t mark me as talented enough offensively nor defensively, and he can be stopped, so I have no resume to think he’ll beat Berto from face value. So on that one, I’ll agree with “correctamundo” for that one. However, I honestly haven’t seen Thurman nor Chavez fight… so I’ll have to watch some film on them.Posted July 27, 2013 5:39 pm
Berto loses and Guerrero’s win over him possibly looks less impressive, and WILL be used ultimately against Mayweather by his detractors. Although the type of fight he had with Guerrero takes a LOOOOOT out of you, he should be able to beat and hurt Soto, unless he gets tired and it becomes more a war of will… then we’ll see if the beating he just took really has him completely gun shy. He’ll obviously be trying to box better to start. He’s a talented guy, but he’s not the most skilled, he’s not offensively clever, just offensively explosive, that’s why it got bad for him with RGPosted July 27, 2013 5:31 pm
I remember Maidana Ko ing Karass and Berto will undoubtably try to do the same. But will he be able to is another story.Berto needs a KO to re establish himself as a good dangerous fighter.Posted July 27, 2013 12:23 pm
Clearly, it’s a typo. Must be ready and excited for 07/27/13!
Good feedback, though. Good eye!Posted July 26, 2013 12:19 pm
“The final press conference for the event was held on 07/27/13.” Considering that today is 7/26/13, this ain’t possible. Perhaps Mr. Lopez owns a time machine.Posted July 26, 2013 9:58 am
