Dinking pee will NOT do ANYTHING for you — but will make your nutritional advisor rich if you pay him for this advice… Some people would eat Brillo Pads if you told them it would give them smashing KO punching power.
The reason pee won’t work — your digestive system was created perfectly and ingeniously to absorb all the good stuff OUT of your waste materials before you dispose of them.. Unless you like to pick peas out of sh** you’re better off flushing the refuse no matter how frugal a consumer you are..
The stuff that REALLY makes you strong are the best organic meats, vegetables, beans, lentils, nuts, fruit, cheese, whole milk, eggs, whole grains, fish, and whatever else can be classified as human food in the right proportions and portion sizes.. A serious athlete should take in pretty close to the exact amount of food he needs within a few ounces.. The rest is all getting the right sleep, rest, and training, including strength training.. The regimens that some of these Olympic athletes go through anymore are over the top — but it gets them there without cheating or taking risks with PEDs.Posted July 29, 2013 8:53 pm
correction: punching and brawling are two different skill-sets and i don’t believe that Pacquiao* possesses the superior footwork or size advantages to command the range and dominate the combat zone like a truly superior boxer.Posted July 29, 2013 8:53 pm
SQUARED CIRCLE, i consider Rios’ style risky and dangerous. otherwise, Rios’ inside word is a thing of primal beauty. he’s got great inside punching form and if he does tighten up his defense just a bit, he’ll be a complete brawler but he’s still a brawler, albeit, a very intentional one. in tems of boxing skills, Alvarado is a superior brawler but his success v. Rios still hinges on being able to avoid too many of Rios’ punches. at which point, the more vicious brawler will prevail. Manny’s* a puncher and his boxing skills are spastic, at best. if Rios can drag him into a brawl, Pacquiao* is TOAST. punching and brawling are two different skill-sets and i don’t believe that Pacquiao* possesses the superior footwork or size advantages to command the range and dominate the combat zone. conversely, Rios’ size advantages and command of the inside combat zone will enable him to severely test what remains of Pacquiao*.Posted July 29, 2013 8:51 pm

Believe it is not, there are ways to mask your urine samples, so that certain PEDs can’t be detected. This should be an major issue of concern for all pro sports, but especially in boxing and MMA where a fighter can get seriously injured or even killed.
te tumbo: You don’t consider Rios’ style to be reckless?? His defensive skills need a lot of polish, bro. Even if he is able to somehow get past PacMan, he will get beaten again by my man “Mile High” Mike Alvarado from Colorado. Now that’s another fight that I can’t wait to see. And this time, it’s gonna be in Denver — Mike’s backyard.Posted July 29, 2013 7:26 pm
Rios will KO Pacquiao* inside of 10. Manny* trying to outbox Rios is comical. Pacquiao* is an amateurish boxer, at best. Pacquiao* attempting to outpunch Rios is intriguing. he’ll be facing the biggest and strongest Rios yet. bottomline, all Rios needs to do is avoid Pacquiao’s* Left and time Manny* while he recklessly darts and lunges in and out of Rios’ crosshairs. a KO not points and rounds will be the focus of Rios’ fight-plan. compelling Pacquiao* to think and defend himself against the KO will be overwhelming for Pacquiao* who is not a thinking or adaptable fighter. ideally (predictably?) Manny* won’t change a thing about his fighting strategy and Rios will be able to simply lie in the weeds and pounce on Pacquiao* every time he lunges into Rios’ fists. the book on Pacquiao* is as well-known as the book on Trinidud following his unofficial loss to DLH. there will be no surprises only Rios’ spin on Marquez’s KO-based fight-plan.Posted July 29, 2013 4:37 pm
Rios will not be facing the Pacman who destroyed DeLaHoya ,Margarito , Cotto, Hatton. Face it sadly Pacman has slipped . True he was on his way to Beating JMM. But heirs not the same fighter. Prime Pacman would have been too fast for Rios and would have stopped him. He may still have enough in him to beat Rios but I don’t think he can handle a war if the going gets tough.Posted July 29, 2013 4:22 pm
RIOS is Garbage, Im not a Pac fan, but i see nooooo way a slow pillow hands Rios can win. I have not seen him crack anyone in top 10. They are trying to sell this fight like this dude can crack, when and where was I. Now he can bang but thats it, he is worse than Margarito. Who has Rios even beat?Posted July 29, 2013 4:14 pm
“I firmly believe that any fighter who’s willing to drink his own piss after every workout, thinking he will gain a competitive advantage, would do just about anything else to get that edge” exCept CHEAT. piss is not a banned substance. bottomline, Marquez (and Pacquiao*) only need to test “officially” clean according to standard testing. what that actually means remains intentionally unclear. otherwise, adopting improved testing methods would be automatic and NOT a source of debate never mind controversy that it’s become ever since Pacquiao’s* panicked response to Floyd’s harmless request. Or the lack of affirmative response to Marquez’s public challenge of “I’ll take any test, any time. I’ve got nothing to hide”, which is the only acceptable response to an anti-doping challenge. only now that Arum is desperately trying to extend Pacquiao’s* shelf-life as a PPV Draw has Manny* agreed to improved testing methods for his bout v. Rios. however, since he’s never bothered to reconcile his current acceptance of improved testing with his initial and particularly personal objections, I Don’t Trust It. somebody needs to explain to me what makes this testing different from that previously requested by Mayweather? other than Arum being the one to confirm and orchestrate it.Posted July 29, 2013 4:02 pm

In 1978, Prime Minister Morarji Desai, a longtime practitioner of “urine therapy”, spoke to Dan Rather on 60 Minutes about the benefits of drinking urine. Desai stated that drinking urine was the perfect medical solution for the millions of Indians who cannot afford medical treatment. That’s funny… Where were the fast hand against Pacman??? I seem to recall Pacquiao out-landing Hatton 35-8 in first round connects.. It was a brutal round with Hatton hitting the deck hard twice…
But not as brutal as the 2nd round… WHOOO BABY!!!!

The Truth Teller
Don’t understand the hate for Pacquiao….the guy has done great things throughout his career regardless of what his detractors say. His losses recently IMO are more attributed to his lack of focus on boxing than anything else…and let’s not forget, Marquez has fought Pacquiao four times now so he knows Pacquiao and his tendecies better than any other fighter Manny has faced…hell, I think Marquez won everyone of those fights…but Rios is no Marquez. Marquez is a highly intelligent fighter and student of the game. Rios is a neanderthal who fights one way. Unless Pacquiao has been psychologically affected by being KO’d in his last fight, I don’t see Rios doing anything other than taking a severe beating in this fight and being stopped in the later rounds.Posted July 28, 2013 9:05 pm

Marquez doesn’t come close to owning Pa they are, have been and might always on even ground. They fought to dead even draws in the first 3 and in the 4th Pac dominated but Marquez got the miracle stoppage still breaks even for how much Pac was dominating. Imo Hatton is better than Rios not technically but Hatton had much quicker hands and feet. Im predict that Pac will not go toe to toe with Rios i think he’s gonna fight much more measured. I honestly think if Pac doesn’t have any lingering effects from the k.o all Marquez did was wake up a sleeping giant. He’ll pick his spots to go on his “Pac attack” but for the majority of the fight i think he’lluse his superior ring I.Q and athleticism to tear Rios to shreds. Then take a walk and reset. Where Pac went wrong with Marquez was looking for the k.o its basic boxing knowledge that when you look for the k.o you rarely find it especially at the top of the sport. So look for a boxing clinic come 11/24. One can only become smarter after being k.oed like Pac was but i do believe it was for the best because a more intelligent measured Pac is boxings worst nightmare.Posted July 28, 2013 4:14 pm
Pacnan is still a elite not a 36 or 37 year old legend. Rios is up and coming they are not on the same level Rios will be target practice hes too slow and has a very weak defense sounds like a late Ricky Hatton.Posted July 28, 2013 3:32 pm
Even an old Pacquiao coming off a KO loss is way too much for Rios, who is, or was, vastly overrated. But even after this win Pacquiao should no longer be considered p4p.Posted July 28, 2013 2:52 pm
ERECTAMUNDO my friend, it’s really hard to give Juan Manuel Marquez any legitimate credit since he hired the PEDS MAster himself, Angel Hereida. Hereida’s horrific Peds supplying scandal in which he supplied Peds to US Olympic athletes is well documented. Marquez was well aware of what he was doing, and it worked. Now, he without a doubt calls up Rios and sends him the details, and to no surprise, Mr. Angel Hereida has been working with him. Hmm…..Seems like Marquez wants Manny Pacquiao taken out at all costs because he fears a return match. After all, Marquez never wanted to sign a contract to fight Rios. I wonder why? Manny Pacquiao will destroy Rios and will eventually capture the cheating, lying fighter that is Juan Manuel Marquez. Desperation has no limits especially when Manny Pacquiao keeps beating you up and you know for a fact that you can’t beat him naturally. This leaves only one option. Cheat!Posted July 28, 2013 2:41 pm
Squared-Circle Real Talk (a.k.a. The Lion King of Beat Street)
murderman: I’m actually betting on PacMan by UD. I realize that his official record shows that he lost his last two fights, but I believe that is very misleading for a couple of reasons:
1) I sincerely believe that PacMan outboxed and beat Bradley and got robbed by corrupt and/or incompetent judges who wanted to give the W to an American, not a foreigner.
2) IMO….PacMan was outboxing JMM in their last fight before he got caught by that PERFECT shot he never saw coming. It happens to almost every fighter at some point.
I am not one who believes that PacMan’s career is over just because he got KO’d. He had been stopped a couple of times early on in his career and he came back with a fiery vengeance. So, I believe that Pac is mentally stronger and more determined that many are saying.
However, PacMan will be almost 35 when this fight takes place, and I believe that he’s a little past his prime. For me, the million dollar question is as follows: Are PacMan’s head and heart more into boxing or politics at this point — considering he is a full-time congressmen in the Philippines???
Because Rios’ defense is seriously lacking and he’s wide open to getting tagged all night long. But Rios has proven he has one H3LL of a chin and take take tremendous punishment. Alvarado had him wobbled a couple times in their last fight, so we know that Rios can be hurt. I just don’t know if Pac still has the power to knock him down and stop him. This is a very difficult one for me to call, but I’m going to predict that PacMan pulls it out by UD.Posted July 28, 2013 2:33 pm

Hecdog- you have a serious case of living in a delusional world. Rios? Rios BETTER THAN Marquez??? Now, I agree Pacquioa will beat Rios. By that same token, dont try and bring up Rios skills to ” elite ” status just make Pacquioa’s win more impressive. This fight was made for a reason. Its CONFIDENCE BOOSTER, for Pacquioa afterall, he needs it after that murderous KO he recieved at the hands of Marquez. Rios just came off a loss, come on dude…geezPosted July 28, 2013 1:12 pm
Rios has been looking depleted at 135lb and 140lbs. i anticipate that he’ll be bigger and stronger at 147lbs, which will result in increased punching aggression from “Bam Bam”. i only wish that Rios would hook-up with an Ariza or Heredia to add lean and long muscle rather than just bulk to the 147lb-version of Rios. he can’t afford any loss of handspeed. that will be the key on the inside. delivering hooks and uppers with lightweight handspeed. if he successfully avoids Pacquiao’s* Left, i see Rios winning by TKO, whatever round, by consistently beating Manny* to the counterpunch and landing his share of vicious leads and uppers on the inside. Pacquiao* can’t and won’t fight going backward. even his darting style seeks to move forward and set-up his Left. the inside will be available for Rios to work in and so will Pacquiao* darting forward trying to land his Left. that will ALways be Pacquiao’s* primary weapon. Rios can prepare for and count on it.Posted July 28, 2013 11:30 am
Rios is tailor made made for Pacquiao………………The Pacquiao we remember in our memory. If the old Manny shows up he will handle Rios, If an Old Manny shows up he will take a 12 round beating by a bigger younger fighter. Paul Williams was never the same after getting KOed by Martinez much like the way JMM KOed Paquiao. I’m interested in seeing what Pacman is going to be like post JMM.Posted July 28, 2013 10:48 am

I don’t know what Cheato brings to the discussion — other than he was a walk-in swinger who Pacquiao picked off as easily as Cotto did, once Cheato was without his plastered handwraps.
Cheato didn’t put a lot of punishment on Pac. He got him with one good body shot in the 6th and that was it. Rios is a much better and tougher fighter and brings a complete arsenal of punches. He should do a little better and pretty much had to move to 147 anyway.Posted July 28, 2013 4:53 am

Manny Pacquiao will bring his A game to the squared Circle when he faces one of the toughest fighters in boxing in Brandon Rios. Intelligent boxing fans know Rios is as tough as they come, and he has plenty of power to hurt opponents to the head and body. Pacquiao haters will attempt to diminish Rios skill level, but they know how good Rios is. He’s a tougher and better fighter than Ped Man Marquez. Marquez wanted nothing to do with Rios. Manny Pacquiao, as usual, steps up as he has no fear. The ring return of the greatest pound for pound fighter in the world is the most anticipated fight in history. Manny will revive the boxing world with his unequaled speed, power, athleticism, feints and natural fighting skills. This will be a fight for the ages. People around the world are paying more attention to this fight than the Canelo vs Mayweather fight. Pacquiao vs Rios is a fans fight. Both fight with bravery, courage and ferocity. Manny will end this fight in vicious, indescribable cruel fashion. No this won’t be easy, but Rios bravery will do him in before round 6. Yes Rios is bigger and will outweigh Manny once they enter the ring, but Manny will showcase the best skills in boxing today. The man is carrying his country and half the world on his shoulders. Mayweather, Marquez and Bradley best keep running as fast as they can. Manny is back!Posted July 27, 2013 11:10 pm
It’s a great fight because despite Pac fighting at 147 he isn’t really a welterweight and Rios while fighting at 140 seems to be the one with the frame size of a welterweight. And like I said, their size isn’t going to determine the winner. It’ll be of determination. Will Pac fight like a broken fighter, or one who is eager to reclaim his position at the top of the mountain? Will Rios fight like an opponent, or will he seize this opportunity for stardom? I can’t wait to find out — it’s going to be a very interesting fight!Posted July 27, 2013 11:05 pm

This is such a great match-up! Pac has the power/offense and Rios the chin and determination. On the other side, Pac will trade and can be hit, and Rios isn’t a punching bag — he can box a little. This one won’t be determined by size: Pac is listed at 5′ 6 1/2″ with a 67″ reach, Rios 5′ 8″ and 68″ of reach. Both are comfortable at 140-147 lbs. Nope, this fight will be determined by determination — who wants it more. Can’t wait to see this one!Posted July 27, 2013 10:01 pm

Gentlemen Im personally looking forward to a barn burner of a fight with Rios and Pacquiao. Neither man lacks in the guts department. Pacquiao is more versatile but he better be taking this kid seriously. He better be focused strictly on Rios and nothing but Rios. While Pacquiao is obviously the more experienced fightee, Rios is bringing youth and energy plus a chip on.his shouldee to the table. Nothing that can’t be overcome but just a little smidgen of lack of focus can still produce an upset. Just ask Anderson the Spider Silva. Thisshoukd provide us a guage of just where Pacquiao stands in terms of skill level. He is not getting any younger and father time can ease in very quickly or gradually depending upon the fighter. Still I’m loing foreard to an entertaining bout and will pray that neither man gets seriously hurt in the process. Shout out to you Lion King. Peace and strength gentlemen.Posted July 27, 2013 9:10 pm

Maybe PacMan is wearing flat Asics Tigers and Rios is wearing alligator skin Cuban-heels???
The TRUE tale-of-the-tape shows that Rios is NOT much taller than PacMan:
Margarito was 5’11” with a 73″ reach and look what little PacMan did to him. Pac basically ended Margarito’s career with that permanent damage he did to his eye.
I like both or these guys, so really don’t care who wins, but if Rios falls back on that same style of “always coming forward and exchanging bombs with little concern for defense,” he’s going to take a hellluva lot of hard shots from PacMan. I’m looking forward to an exciting war!!!
And Bam Bam will be more brain damaged than ever after this fight. The kid is only 27 and is already slurring his words like Ole Mosely.Posted July 27, 2013 8:41 pm

Still the same old crap message about posting too quickly. How is it that Papo posts twice and I can’t even get one post in? Something is wrong with this site (again).Posted July 27, 2013 3:39 pm
Bye bye Rio’s your going down !Posted July 27, 2013 3:38 pm
By the way, as for Rios upset about some people calling him a punching bag, what else can he be called with such a style? Sure, a punching bag may not hit back, but the punches it takes take their toll. After a while, a punching bag becomes useless from the constant hitting and until it must be replaced.Posted July 27, 2013 3:30 pm
Like I mentioned on a previous post, Rios will be moving forward throwing many punches as usual. Pac is going to see him coming, move side to side and hit him. I don’t see Rios lasting more than seven rounds.Posted July 27, 2013 3:24 pm
