Easy win for Geale. It will be interesting to see if Geale is put in with Martinez or GGG, I’ve got a feeling he’s gonna be milked.

DG is a good one. His strengths are technique and discipline, and he is a good study. He will be prepared. He does lack the KO power many love to see but he does have some sting despite what many say. Plus, and don’t underestimate this quality, he’s a good books. Fair and understated and modest.

I’ve actually got this as a 50% fight. I can’t separate them & respect them both!

I think a lot of fighters underestimate Geale (due to his lack of power) before they get in the ring, and so they come in with a lacklustre game plan. Geale is a true talent currently in his prime.
I reckon Geale takes this one closely but reasonably comfortably… after that, let’s get the champions together and get this middleweight division sorted out, eh?

Hey, that’s my bike!!!

Under estimate Geale at your peril. Geale has the work rate for another 12 round UD. Barker will get frustrated with Geales tenacity. Geale is tough, skilful and has stamina to burn. His only flaw is genuine KO power but he does have good enough timing to keep the come forward brawlers honest. Geale out-skills, out-toughs and out-works Barker all day.

What Geale lacks in power he makes up for in skills and work rate. Geale by Majority decision.

When it comes to the championship rounds Geale just works harder. Geale UD

I think Barker will be surprised by Geale. I’ve read comments that Barker thinks he has this one in the bag. I’ve watched one of Barker’s bouts since martinez stopped him against some Italian and he pretty much was fighting a light middleweight with less skills and very little power. Geale seems to have better skills than Barker but less power and Geale has had his last 6 fights go 12 rounds against better opposition so I’m edging towards Geale slightly in this bout, but I am biased being an Aussie. Good on Geale for finding a tough opponent for a voluntary defence, should be a good fight.
