Nathan you are entitled to disagree with me bud, but i have to say, i disagree with youPosted August 14, 2013 11:19 am
As the fight is in the US and the fighters are from Aus and UK no one can blame a robbery on a home town advantage.
Barker tough but Geale is a level above, very good skills, solid chin, lacks KO power but makes up for it with his unmatched work rate, and stamina. No one in the division works harder than he does. He is nearly unbeatable in rounds 9 – 12 as he has the stamina to keep up the work rate where most are tiring and needing a KO to win ( that can still and may happen ) Geale by UDPosted August 13, 2013 9:27 pm
Never mind, that was a dumb question.Posted August 13, 2013 6:34 pm
Who is on the undercard?Posted August 13, 2013 4:39 pm
Nobody wants to get into England Bruce.Posted August 13, 2013 2:07 pm
That is why titles really don’t mean so much. It is the championship belt you want.Posted August 13, 2013 12:09 pm
This is going to be very close good fight, just hoping Darren’s new found attacking policy comes to the fore. Nothing against Geale but Darren does deserve to be a world champ.Posted August 13, 2013 11:48 am
ITS NEARLY AS EASY TO GET A BOXING BELT TODAY. AS IT IS FOR ILLEGAL IMIGRANTS TO GET INTO ENGLAND.Posted August 13, 2013 10:41 am
Good fight, I’m going with Barker.Posted August 13, 2013 10:20 am
Both guys are underrated, and have very good skills. This will make for a great fight and be abit overlooked by alot of people overall. My pick is Geale on a dec. or a very late stoppage…should be good.Posted August 13, 2013 9:21 am
Barker is more skilled in every area, but the workrate is with Geale. Darren has to make sure Daniels work is not effectivePosted August 13, 2013 8:38 am
Sounds like a lot of Englishman making comments here and like Darren Barker they seem to be under estimating Daniel Geale’s abilities and I like that. Barker is talking up his loss to Martinez, a stoppage loss. Geale’s only loss was a very close disputed points decision in which he just avenged in his last fight. I think Geale has had more quality opposition than Barker in the last couple of years and those two sacrificial lambs he fought since his loss to Martinez didn’t give him the quality of work needed to prepare him for Geale. I have watched both men and I give Geale the edge in skills, speed, work rate & better opposition. I give Barker the edge in power. I see Geale winning UD or late round stoppage as Geale just keeps going and getting stronger as the fight goes on.Posted August 13, 2013 7:57 am

geale quit telling me slow downPosted August 13, 2013 7:18 am
it would be good to see one of the good guys in BARKER winning a title. He can then make good money matching with Murray and possibly Macklin if he can get back in the mix!
Nothing against Geale. I don’t think he’s outstnding at anything in particular and I would rather watch Darren than Daniel!Posted August 13, 2013 7:17 am
I see barker taking this or getting slightly robbed on score cards. But real 50/50 fight. And some brit has to win a world title over seas this yearPosted August 13, 2013 6:09 am
Great match up this one. I think its pretty 50/’50.Posted August 13, 2013 5:36 am
TJ agreed, Barker can win this, Geale has nothing special except high workrate.Posted August 13, 2013 4:56 am
Hey, That’s my Bike!!!
No10Point – Quite simply if Geale wins he will go after what is rightfully his, the WBA belt and take on GGG.Posted August 13, 2013 4:29 am
Problem here is WHERE do they go after this?
Hey, That’s my Bike!!!
I can’t help but like both these guys. Very respectful of each other and confident in their own abilities. I know more about Geale than Barker and I love his work rate, stamina and angles, so I’m going for a Geale win by UD.Posted August 12, 2013 10:08 pm
