“Provodnikov is no threat. He has a 50% KO against tomatoe cans. Alvarado will win this fairly easy.”

Actually, Provodnikov has about 63% KO ratio to Alvarado’s 66% KO ratio. Although Alvarado has fought more quality opponents than Provodnikov has.

IMO, the suspense and intrigue of this matchup is Provodnikov’s ability to take Alvarado’s powershots. Ruslan is there to be hit Hard and Often and i anticipate that Alvarado will oblige him early and Only IF Provodnikov is able to shrug-off Alvarado’s shots like Rios has, will momentum shift in his favor, but that’s very unlikely. in stark recognition of Provodnikov’s style, taking flush-shots from Alvarado can’t be part of any winning fight-plan. besides, what adjustments or surprises is anybody expecting from a Roach-trained fighter? 12 solid rounds of give-and-take action is what Roach does well, what we’re all expecting, and what Provodnikov try and deliver. Alvarado by TKO in 8. by that point, Ruslan will be severely BusteD-Up or beat down and the bout will be mercifully stopped in Alvarado’s favor.

Good fight, Alvarado needs to box and move. If he gets into a fire fight with Provodnikov he’s gonna get KOed.

The Mad Scientist

I see this fight going somewhat like the Thurman/Chaves fight were they both start off standing their ground but Alvarado makes the necessary adjustments in the mid to late rounds to take this one by tko..

I just think provodnikov is a better boxer and has a bigger punch. Alvarado look good against Rios but provondnikov has better defense.

Mile high to pummel the face first Russian, dont stand and trade box his ears off and stop him late on!!

Great fight but using girls as sex props instead of expressing their minds leaves little to imagination or roll model.

Wow! I can’t believe some of you clowns think only the Russian can stop Alvardo but not the other way around..Milke is nobodies punk and he sure ain’t feather fisted Bradley either.

This fight is going to be a war at the end of the day provodnikov to much for Alvarado.

Bradley could have boxed Provodnikov’s ears off, but instead, due to promoter/fan pressure, decided to trade with him, and trade early. Big mistake. Hopefully Alvardo will fight smart and box this guy. If he does, Alvarado will have an easier fight and likely will win it in 12 rounds. But if he doesn’t, and gets macho, I think Alvarado will get stopped like he did against Rios in their first fight.

Actually Boxer, Alvarado’s first fight with Rios is what convinced me that Provodnikov is going to stop him. And if there’s a third fight between Alvarado and Rios, Rios will beat him.

This is going to be a good one my pick is Alvarado on points, that first rios fight really helped him to develop his boxing skills

Wish the fight was in Denver proper. Broomfield is a bit out of town and harder to get there by bus to avoid the chance of a DUI. Couldn’t get the Pepsi Center or somewhere in the city? It is a nice facility but not in Denver at all.
