That’s what they have said. Same with Pac he would lose weight after the weigh in also. They said he had to keep eating to keep his weight up. The announcers have said it and so have there teams.

I doubt that Floyd walked into the ring weighing less that he did at the official weigh-ins. That would be extremely unusual for any boxer. Can you provide official sources to verify that information is accurate???

150 against Oscar and 147 against Canelo

Probably 159 lbs… that why he cheated his way with Marquez in the weigh in.

“He came in at 152 and 151.” Those were his weights from the official weigh-ins, correct?

How much did FMJ weigh when he stepped into the ring on those two Fight Nights???

Hey PEEJ

I agree with you, but if he gets by Canelo, he could force these young bloods up to 154, which could diminish their power….

I would do so if I was Floyd and calling all the shots!

I don’t see Floyd staying at 154. He did the same thing when he fought Oscar and Cotto. He came in at 152 and 151. I imagine he will come in around those same weights again and come fight night be at 150 or right under that. This is gonna be defense at its best with some nice countering involved.

I meant to add that would be a wise move as both men would have to step up 2 diviisions and they wouldn’t know if FLOYD would come in light or heavy to neutralise any power they may possess!!!!

IF FLOYD IS BULKING UP, which I don’t believe he has, he will have a big problem… So far because he keeps his weight right between bouts he has no trouble either going up to 154 or back down to 147, but once he tries to build muscle mass instead of natural body weight to fill out at the bigger weight at his age he will have big trouble getting down to his “fighting” weight at 147!

We have seen this happen to RJJ, Antonio Tarver, Chad Dawson (who by the way looked like a ghost even before he stepped in with SUPERMAN)…

It is going to be interesting to see if FLOYD stays at 154 WIN or LOSE to rematch CANELO and see who else is out there at the higher weight or will he come down like most people feel to 147 for the challenges there.

I wouldn’t be surprised if FLOYD stayed at 154 and then call those who want to fight him up to the hgiher poundage of 154….

It would be a good tactical ploy against big punchers such as DANNY GARCIA and LUCAS MATTHYSSE as they will not know which weight to come in if the bout is at 154 and how will it affect their own punch power and ability to hold a shot at the highter weight….

IF I were FLOYD I would think about this ,,,,, He’s not getting any younger and he could be killing himself to get back to 147 and how would that affect his own ability to hold a shot against the two powerful punchers who could well be his next challenge….

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if FLOYD called these guys to step up to 154…..

Just saying man!!!!

And yet he is only weighing 150.3lbs. That was his 30 day weigh in

Floyd is looking pretty big and swoll in that photo. Looks every bit of 154lbs — if not closer to 160lbs. Real talk.
