SHAME vs SHAME.Posted August 20, 2013 3:48 pm
Two weatherbeaten old hags here. So Mosley’s fighting at middleweight now? Maybe the juice and bench pressing 300 lbs will come in handy now.Posted August 20, 2013 12:11 pm
@ Mundine hates Australia- what should Aboriginal Australians be happy about re their lot in Australia?Posted August 20, 2013 8:10 am
haha, after a crap day at work its good to read some lite hearted comedy like this. Oh i have not laughed like this in a while! And to think the winner will take on PBF or Alvarez, hmm i don’t think so…Posted August 20, 2013 6:24 am
Mundine hates Australia
Forget about this fight. it means nothing.
And he has done his share of damage to the sport in Australia. Boxing in Australia should be shown for free on the comedy channel.
Australia needs less boxers staging weak fights in Australia and more up and comers heading to America to battle it out.
I will be going to this and it’s a tough one to call the WinnerPosted August 19, 2013 11:18 pm
Shane has to take what he can get and a former 160-168 pounder is a tall order. Be is also is giving up height and size. He on piously knows a loss is the nail in the coffin. So with that being said he needs to take Anthony out of there and leave no doubts about his comeback!!Posted August 19, 2013 10:40 pm
nice marketing ploy to bolster a ridiculously boring match up between to has-beens! Mundane is a loud mouth bore and Mosley now has the ability to put people to sleep in their chairs while they simultaneously reach out and offer him ppv cash dollars to pay off his ex wife. SAD!Posted August 19, 2013 8:14 pm
I hope mosley has a good holiday while he’s down here, my only advice to him would be don’t bring the gf….Posted August 19, 2013 5:37 pm
Well, GBP won’t have much to do in the way of promotions for this fight. Not after the way this author has already hyped it up as “The Fight of the Ages”! I, personally think this fight reeks of despair!Posted August 19, 2013 5:34 pm
Will this be on PPC? Pay per crap?Posted August 19, 2013 3:37 pm

“THIS IS A BOUT BETWEEN TWO FIGHTERS WHO ARE NOW OVER-THE-HILL…”
Wow, what an epiphany!!Posted August 19, 2013 11:23 am
THANKS! I just read your post…. MUNDINE fought GEALE (this was one of the most boring fights I’ve seen this year – I can’t believe it was Geale he fought as he was not much better than MUNDINE) —
There was more excitement with the Aborigine music and rituals which went on far too long before the bout started.. I have to admit, I drifted away after a few rounds…Posted August 19, 2013 10:23 am
THIS IS A BOUT BETWEEN TWO FIGHTERS WHO ARE NOW OVER-THE-HILL…
I watched MUNDINE blow his last bout vs his fellow countryman – who’s name escapes me… Only in short spurts could we see the natural talent of Mundine, but like SUGAR SHANE he can see the openings, but can no longer pull the trigger!!!!
Only a year ago, MUNDINE was hoping to secure a date with FLOYD MAYWEATHER, but now the loser of this matchup must surely retire, for there will be nowhere left to go…
I read somewhere that everyone single one of MUNDINE’S bouts have been PPV since he turned professional, after a successful Rugby League career and he can be proud to have been at the top of two different sports…
BUT, seriously it’s now time for both of these men to hang em up and move on to better things!!!!!Posted August 19, 2013 10:16 am
Sorry, I stopped reading at “Shane Mosley”Posted August 19, 2013 5:12 am
a sad state of affairs.whoever wrote this masterpiece needs to be arrested for libel.sugar shane, say it ain’t so.from cano to this? no win situation.hell,it’s a dead end.Posted August 19, 2013 4:36 am
Well I live in Sydney, and I can say that I will NOT be going to Mundine facing the shell of Mosely at some kind of catchweight Mosely has never been up to before.
Mundine is easy to hate. But I don`t hate him. I understand what he has done – he worked his way up wot world title contention admirably, he fought Ottke really very early in his career. He lost, he lost to Siaca, he lost to Kessler, he is basically sub world class level. Very good but sub-world class.
He ducked fights with both Trout and Golovkin saying they weren`t big names and that he wanted to fight Mayweather and Cotto, omitting the factr those fihgts would have leapt him closer.
He’s a showman not a boxer. He is full of misdirection and bluff, accusations of racism or calling brothers coconuts.
It`s a shame because he has actually done a lot of good, is involved in charity work, and is an inspiration to a lot of people, but he has played the cnut for so long that he can`t come back from it.
Beating the broke shell of Shane MOsely doesn`t alter any of that.Posted August 19, 2013 4:35 am
Is Mundine one of the only men to get get ko’d by Sven OttkePosted August 19, 2013 3:30 am
Hey, That’s my Bike!!!
Yeah thanks for the always correct (sarcasm) wikipedia update. Whats your point?Posted August 19, 2013 1:18 am
The winner of this blockbuster event will likely fight the winner of Mayweather vs Alvarez bout. This bout shapes up to possibly surpass the Mayweather vs Alvarez bout in action. LMAOPosted August 19, 2013 12:22 am
Anthony Mundine is a BUM !Posted August 19, 2013 12:21 am
Mundine had a very respectable career considering he had no amateur experience. If he wants to be a Muslim so much he ‘s welcome to go live in Saudi or better yet in Afghanistan. And leave us alone with his extremely stupid and offensive comments. As far a s this fight is concerned…there’s simply no need for it, and it won’t be pretty to watch either!Posted August 18, 2013 11:39 pm
Mega fight? That term must be culturally relativePosted August 18, 2013 11:33 pm
Hmm Mundine who said America deserved 9/11 and has been in all kinds of legal trouble against Christian chruches is now trying to raise money to build a mosque. Speaking of Mosley, Mundine said: “I’m a Muslim and I can’t allow myself to lose to a Christian. My people are persecuted all over the world and they need inspirational figures like myself, Zinedine Zidane in soccer and also fellow fighters like Sugar Shane Mosley to look up to.”Posted August 18, 2013 11:14 pm
Waste of time fight. I’ma fan of Shane but am not even tempted to go watch this.Posted August 18, 2013 10:45 pm
The list of legendary fighters is ridiculous. I’ll give Kessler. He isn’t legendary but he is an elite fighter. Mosley wins this one. As long as he lets his hands go. I know he doesn’t to often but Mundine probly thinks amosley is too small for himPosted August 18, 2013 10:42 pm
This is old news, it was announced on August 14th.Posted August 18, 2013 10:05 pm
Mosley will bank $6 millon for this fight.Posted August 18, 2013 10:03 pm

Danny Green & Sam Solomon & Bronco McCart are legendary??Posted August 18, 2013 9:37 pm
And this fight is being made for what and to prove what?Posted August 18, 2013 9:33 pm
LOL….Who in the hell was the author of this article. Mundine has been and always will be a pretender first and foremost. Don’t get me wrong, he is one of the most naturally gifted athletes Australia has ever produced, but saying he’s an Australian legend, well that is just laughable.. Yes he fought Kessler and Ottke and a few other good fighters in there prime and look what happened to him, he lost. He had the chance to fight Trout and he chickened out making a number of excuses why. And now he wants to fight the legend Shane Mosley. He should have fought Mosley 10 years ago when he was still in his prime but he is just a washed up over the hill boxer. If Mosley gives him any trouble, Mundine should just do the world of boxing a favour and retire cause we all know he doesn’t like to fight young fighters in there prime….Posted August 18, 2013 9:25 pm
