Malik let the “Spitter” Chisora beat him. If Scott can’t even beat Chisora, he hasn’t got a chance in boxing. He should go to the fast food industry for steady imployment.Posted August 27, 2013 4:51 pm
BILLY NO MEDALS ALL AMERICAN BOY

If he fights Chisora again he’ll win… but I doubt he’ll get the chance.Posted August 24, 2013 3:45 pm
Scott lacked heart and was starting to fold slowly but surely when Chisora started with the pressure right before the early stoppage.Bad stoppage overall but if they fought again Chisora would break him down and stop him,Scott is really going nowhere nice guy but not a top guy as a fighter.Posted August 24, 2013 11:05 am
Malik is a journeyman fighter unknown and going nowhere in boxing.Posted August 24, 2013 10:03 am
That was an “above the fray” answer to the question… Scott knows he got screwed and there’s nothing he can do about it. So why spend a lot of time pissing and moaning about it?
He pretty much also said Chisora isn’t responsible for the horrible officiating and lack of redress that he has… And he made it clear he was ahead on the scorecards, deserves a rematch … and fully expects Chisora to man up and give him the promised rematch.
What he’s really saying is, “Chisora officially won fair and square.. but every fair person who watched the fight knows I got screwed and deserve a rematch.” But he’s taking the high road to let people know he has the demeanor and temperament of a good human being.Posted August 23, 2013 7:19 pm
“Well to start things off controversy or no controversy it was a good fight and Chisora officially won fair and square.” – I’ve never been a fan of Scott’s but gotta give him props for taking his loss and not whining about it and making excuses. Frankly I wish more of these boxers would man up and just admit they lost, period.Posted August 23, 2013 6:24 pm
Respect for Scott holding no hard feelings, not sure Del boy would be as respectful if the roles were reversed.Posted August 23, 2013 11:14 am
Q. “Bradley vs Marquez?” … Malik.., “I don’t care.”
He’s not focused on non-heavyweights but he did have an opionion on Floyd-Canelo. Everybody does. I thought his take on Haye vs Fury was interesting. He is giving Fury a lot of respect and saying “Great fight.”
I love Malik’s attitude… This is Boxing and boxers are not responsible for stupid, inept, and corrupt officiating. They just have to live with it. I also like the fact that he said he would fight Deontay Wilder, who is his friend. You can’t let personal relationships, or anything else, get in the way of what you chose for your life’s work.
I hope Chisora mans up and gives Scott the rematch, which is well deserved.Posted August 23, 2013 10:10 am
flash knock down
First off I am the biggest Malik Scott fan . The second thing is the ref screwed up the fight there is no way he should have stopped that fight. I have two major problems with Scott. First is his attitude about losing he’s like oh well, oh well my ass coming from Philly brother you need to have more fire ,more passion . I have never seen a fighter on his way up lose and act like nothing happen. When Scott was giving a draw against Glazkov which he won . Scott acted as if nothing happened. I was not sure if this was his personality then but now I am sure of it and if he does not change it he will never become the fighter I know he can be. The second thing is what I have been talking about all along is for Scott to slow down his uppercut . He has a beautiful uppercut but he is not landing it because he is not following it all the way through with his eyes. If he hit someone with it he will hut them bad. Losing to Chisora is not good for anyone I hope Scott can get a rematch and beat Chisora because this was a big,big set back not all his fault the ref had a lot to do with it.Posted August 23, 2013 9:31 am
Seems liek a genuine good guy, never gonna win a belt but then most fighters don’t. Still have respect fro him thoughPosted August 23, 2013 9:13 am
Interesting to read his thoughts though about upcoming fights. If he’s serious about his career and trying to win HW titles against the big boys, Malik Scott needs to get a bit meaner and tougher in his outlook, because he seems a little laidback from his words. He’s stepped up a little and hasn’t got the results. Like he says, there’s not much you can do with the decisions of judges and refs. There are some good fights he could figure in, rematches against Glazkov and/or Chisora, but he needs to get a move on.Posted August 23, 2013 8:43 am
Nice interview with some interesting opinions.Posted August 23, 2013 8:42 am

He admitted he lost, no excuse, a British fighter would finding excuses till the cows come home.Posted August 23, 2013 4:27 am
Scott quit against Chisora, if they fought again, he’d quit again too. Maybe the ref shouldnt have stepped in, but hey Scott was gassing anyhow, no heart.Posted August 23, 2013 4:23 am
