You know what, I’m concluding that ‘IF’ is the most overused unnecessary word in boxing. Wladimir Klitschko has nothing to fear from either of these guys.

JEFFC…Agreed, been saying the same thing about the guy.And at his age hes not going to improve, this is about the best he gets.Yes he said this wasnt his best fight, but having seen him fight a few times before I still dont think he has anything that great any other time aswell. This might not have been his best fight but even his best is not real world class.Im afraid after the k-bros,and Haye are gone we will see the belts get passed around like a joint at a Dead concert in 1969.

Congrats to Pulev but oh please….if that is the best you have then I would reconsider the Wlad fight cos you’re going to get completely screwed!

ScoreBoard: Pulev UD. If he had any pop in his punch he would have TKO’d Tony because Tony was ready to go down. Wlad will rip up Pulev almost to a no contest.

TIGER

The photo shows how Kulev hits Thompson on the back of the head. Thompson should file a law suit and have the UD changed to a draw. Rabbit punches are illegal even if they come from a weak hitter. The writer even says that Pulev “returned the punch on the back of the head” and the photo proves it. Case closed. A draw.

The Tiger

Tony Thompson won the fight. he went 12 rounds with a young up-and-comer. If the fight was in the USA he could have decisioned this slapping joker. Any cruiser weight hits harder than one-handed robot

KOrnerman

if Tiger hadn’t gassed he would have won, he was schooling Pulev the first few rounds.

In my opinion, for what it’s worth, Kubrat Pulev, is the most over rated heavyweight who is supposedly in the top ten. I have watched several of his fights, I do not think he will ever be the “Powerful world beating Beast” that most writers seem to think he already is,go through his record, and his performances, and then see if you think I’m talking rubbish. Just my opinion.

Nice cover photo of Tony/Kubrat mixing it up!!

Looks like Pulev pushes his punches and sometimes loops from above cutting off his power. There must be a way to train him into more powerful punches and train him to deliver more punishing shots from underneath as body shots and upper cuts. Other wise he does a pretty good job. He just needs some more zap and snap in his power punches.

Time for Thompson to retire, he has nothing to offer.

I feel sorry for tony, dude is funny

MikeyRight

Tony is good for a few rounds BUT because of his age he fades and that and ONLY that is why Pulev got his own waty after the 3rd round, Tony mate, you are now officially OTH (ove the hill) your level is purely gatekeeper but so what, it pays well, get the dollares for your retirement and buy all the gold and silver you can before the dollar collapses… AMEN

Silly Brit

People write some funny stuff on here. Interesting to see who Pulev fights next.
