I meant 160 on Arreola… Still 25 X that on a Seth bet.

Fight Aficionado.., “Value Bet Alert.”

According to intertops—linked to ESB—if you bet 1000 on Arreola and win, you make 116 profit… If you bet 1000 on Mitchell you and win, you make 4000 profit.

Basically you make 34.5 times as much on Mitchell as Arreola … if your man wins, and you use intertops—which can change pretty quickly.

Boxtradamus must be backing up the truck LOL.. I’ve seen much better—but this would be an extremely juicy bet if you liked the underdog as much as Boxtra does.

Despite the fact that Chris is slipping, and really never reached his potential, I will be very surprised if Mitchell ends this fight on his feet. He wobbled every time Banks cracked him — only difference between Banks and Arreola is that Chris can punch.

“Arreola is a 6-1 fav. How can this be close. Seth has no future in boxing” – Source, and where can you get Seth at a 6/1 payday? Value bet alert.

Cheers TJ.. I agree that this should be a good fight..

IF ARREOLA CAN STAY FOCUSED and composed during the fight and bide his time, I feel SETH is tailor-made for him to wear down somewhere between the 8th and 10th rounds.

Patience is the key and intelligent pressure, hoping to force mistakes from Seth….
I can see Seth blowing himself out, running out of ideas and eventually folding.

Then again, these two may just elect to throw away the game plans and stand and trade and smash each other to a pulp!

May the best man win!

“How am I posting my comments too quickly?” You are not.. Truth is the owner of ESB, and bn24, writes articles here under many different names to generate web traffic, running the site on the cheap and is not bothered if the comment you wrote gets posted or not. He is only bothered that you gave him another advertising click when you tried to post the comment in the first place. Google “who is the owner of esb and bn24?”

It’s Me, Ernie

“I give him an outside shot to score the upset on character alone” said the douche nozzle. Of course you do, there is your pre-fight weasel clause right on time, once again you cover both sides, well done…

Wrong, Speed = power and Seth won’t be able to get his chin out of the way fast enough for the speed of Big Chris…

Posted September 6, 2013 2:11 pm

Old Yank.., “Arreola is way to fast for Mitchell … Don’t go the the fridge, it might be over before you can get a church key to your beer.”

It’s not a matter of speed. Neither is blazing quick with hands or defense at this stage. Mitchell’s team didn’t select Arreola as an opponent to lose to. Their judgment’s may be horrible but there ARE big holes in Chris’s game that make him an attractive opponent.

Arreola isn’t too fast for Seth but he knows one Hell of a lot more about boxing technique. He’s more practiced, experienced, and skilled. He’s been boxing since he was 7 and has a dozen more high caliber opponents … plus he has a great chin … and I would say better coaching.

Mitchell can only win on heart, effort, guts, and sheer desire/will-to-win… I give him an outside shot to score the upset on character alone… I expect a stronger effort from him than most expect.

I know what you’ll say. Character and 5 bucks will buy Seth coffee.

Good fight here. I’m still leaning towards Arreola but want to see today’s weigh in. BTW Prof Konje, that happens regularly nowadays. You have to copy your comments before posting them in case ESB vaporizes them for no reason. Sometimes it says I’m posting too fast when I’ve not posted in 2 days. WTF? Lame we have to compensate for an incompetent website design.

How am I posting my comments too quickly? I haven’t said anything yet! This web master sucks.

Look for Boxtradamus to change his pick mid round when the wheels start coming off Mitchell.

This fight goes to Arreola simply because he knows how to naturally fight, whereas Mitchell has to think tto fight.

I think Mitchell takes a bad beating, gets KOed early and easily.

Posted September 6, 2013 12:39 pm

Old Yank

Mitchell was made for Arreola to KO. Arreola is way to fast for Mitchell. Mitchell will be a sitting duck for counter lefts. Don’t go the the fridge, it might be over before you can get a church key to your beer.

Unless for some reason Areola has no chin anymore, Areola should win this in 5 or less

Posted September 6, 2013 11:18 am

te tumbo

Cristobal can be Hit and he even seems to willingly take a shot to land his own. i see that as Mitchell’s best and only chance to win. otherwise, i believe in Arreola’s fight-plan of teaching not necessarily exploiting Mitchell. “it’s got nothing to do with what he can’t do, or “lack of”, it’s about what i can do . . .” that’s encouraging for those of us who do recall the fluid and confident Arreola that used to punish opponents withOut looking for the KO. that version of Arreola will simply be too much for Seth.

Good post Rubio. 100% agree with you.

Posted September 6, 2013 9:09 am

Too bad with Chris’s years of experience he never had Mitchell’s work ethic. Mitchell got into boxing too late for a fighter with his style and characteristics .

Posted September 6, 2013 8:49 am

flash knock down

Good job Chris Carlson I have been saying pretty much the same thing. I SEE Arreola going to the body and opening Seth up early . This will confuse Seth the biggest mistake Seth is going to make is to try and out box Arreola. Seth got away with it in his last fight because Banks did not come to fight which I am still having problems figuring out. Seth will need to brawl behind a strong jab coming in. I am not a fan of brawlers but in this case Seth will have to if he has any chance to of winning. I have a lot of respect for Seth in what he had to over come in coming back and beating a guy who knocked him out in his last fight. I have seen many good fighters quit the sport after their first lost . I just don’t see Seth plugging all the holes he has in his game to beat a guy like Arreola. Arreola has his back against the wall he can not afford to lose to a guy like Seth if he does his career is over and it his fault or not putting down the fork . Yes Chris has lost every big fight he has been in. This is not a big fight in Chris’s mind he will go out there and test Seth in many ways before he puts him away. This will be a great fight with Chris putting his name back out front. She will pick up the pieces and keep getting better Arreola by knockout in the third round.

Posted September 6, 2013 8:20 am

I predict Arreola 4 round TKO

Posted September 6, 2013 6:50 am

Manchester Giant!!!! How’s your “palacial estate”?!? Holy balls!!! I have not seen your name for years!!

Posted September 6, 2013 6:40 am

That is all.

Posted September 6, 2013 5:22 am

I think an in-shape, focused, 230-235 pound Arreola might very well beat Haye by early ko, if he tightens up his defense. Arreola himself acknowledge that his defense is an issue. Arreola has some pretty fast hands.

Posted September 6, 2013 5:22 am

Wilder if he faces arreola will be tested. That would be an epic fight.

Posted September 6, 2013 5:19 am

Mitchell will get KTFO and a fight between Arreola and Wilder would be awesome. Arreola, Chisora and Thompson are gatekeepers. Anyone who can get past them is a serious contender.

Posted September 6, 2013 5:18 am

Arreola would not beat david haye. Please don’t try to tell me he would. Haye is way to fast and hits too hard. It would go the same way as the ruiz fight with arreola taking an absolute beating and only hoping to land one big shot, that just wouldnt come…..that aside, he is too strong for seth who I would rank as a c class fighter (no shame in that). Seth seems a nice guy but he has an average jaw and doesnt have the skill set to avoid being hit clean. Arreola by savage ko round 3.

Posted September 6, 2013 4:27 am

Hey, That’s my Bike!!

This shouldn’t go 3 rounds if Arreola lands flush. I can’t see any reasons why Mitchell should win this fight. Arreola is tougher, hits harder, higher workrate, better chin, more experienced. Mitchell seems like a good guy but I just don’t know where he can possibly win this fight.
