Hecdog.., “Come on Canelo, win this fight for 99% of boxing fans that are puling for you.”
It’s Floyd who has the largest fan base in Boxing… 70% of the fans will be rooting for Floyd.. At least of those who actually buy the fight.. What might make a difference is the number of Mexicans watching the fight in one household.. Might be 10, 20, or 30, each contributing 10 bucks or so.Posted September 7, 2013 6:25 pm

A MUST SEE FOR ALL REAL BOXING FANS!!!
Go to Youtube and watch: “Mayweather Jr Exposed!!!” & “Mayweather Jr Exposed 2!!!”
You’re about to see the TRUTH about FMJ being one of the dirtiest boxers in history — right up there with B-Hop. These videos totally EXPOSE his excessive grabbing, clinching, holding, grappling techniques (under hooks & over hooks), partial headlocks, pushing down on the back of his opponents heads, and shoving & striking with his elbows and forearms.
You will also clearly see that when FMJ is not using his illegal dirty- boxing & grappling techniques, he’s running backwards (“The Shrimp Move”) and refusing to box and exchange with his opponents. This fraud and con-man is really not much of a boxer at all. In fact, he’s much more of an MMA-style grappler and track star. Even if you’re a BIG FMJ fan, it’s about time you learn the TRUTH about your hero. These videos are an absolute MUST SEE for all boxing fans!!! Real talk.Posted September 7, 2013 4:05 pm
Tark, I’m tired of this guy, and hopefully Canelo gets rid of him. He’s very annoying, and after awhile, people get tired of the same old routine. I read that Floyd was dropped by a body shot in sparring yesterday. Good! I hope Canelo finally puts and end to this good athletic boxer that is a sad human being. Come on Canelo, win this fight for 99% of boxing fans that are puling for you. Hope Floyd doesn’t pull out because of injuries.Posted September 7, 2013 3:05 pm
I think Floyd is smarter than people give him credit for in boxing and business. I don’t see a boxer today that can hands down beat the kid.Posted September 7, 2013 2:05 pm
Tark where are you at? I’m currently residing in New Jersey but I’ll fly anywhere (Providing it’s in the US or Canada) to come and kick your ass. Weekends only mind.Posted September 7, 2013 1:01 pm

“Hidalgo: How long have you been watching Mayweather’s career?”
Delk1, I don’t know what post of mine you are referring to? You gave me a title for a youtube video with Shane mosley talking to Larry Merchant and at the beginning of the video with Mayweather saying he’ll fight Mosley, DLH, and Tzy)su (or however it’s spelled). I asked Rod to provide proof that Cotto said he wasn’t ready for Mayweather. BTW, I’ve not only seen that video before, I watched the fight before it.Posted September 7, 2013 7:56 am
Timing does mean a lot. To put it into perspective Hatton and Corrales were the only guys going into the fight that was really at the top of there game. fighters that no one had found an answer for until Floyd did. For example we gave Froch big Kudos for beating Bute. But if Pascal goes and destroys Bute as well he wont get the same kind of credit Froch did, as Froch already did it.Posted September 7, 2013 7:49 am
“Mayweather: grab grab, elbow, elbow, push, push, run, run, repeat”
Mayweather vs. Baldomir. Greatest running act ever performed by Mayweather.Posted September 7, 2013 7:47 am
Good comments abou the mega fights. Floyds has missed out a lot by taking the wrong fights at the wrong times. ODH, Hatton and Corrales were good fights at the right time. But the Cotto fight would have been huge were it to have happened pre the Margirito fight. At that point Cotto looked an animal at that point and the fight would have generated far more interest and the bookies would have ad the odds far closer than they did for their actual fight. When Margarito smashed Cotto a Margarito Mayweather fight would have been huge. Margarito looked awsome (and we all now know it was PEDS related) and it would have generated a huge interest. Judah should have happened pre the loss Judah suffered to Baldamir, as this would have seemed a far more competative fight going in that it did when it actually happened. Then you have the Pcaman saga which never happened. And lastly there was a big interest in Floyd fighting Martinez up until recently. I guess what Im saying is that even as a Floyd fan for me he has very rarely fought the guy you would most like to see him fight. But this fight with Alvarez is something different. I actually think that Floyd knows he needs this fight to put to bed some of the criticism against him.Posted September 7, 2013 7:43 am
YOU ARE LUCKY TO SEE TWO GREAT FIGHTS A YEAR NOW.Posted September 7, 2013 7:22 am

The last post by Hecdog is the exact reason why Floyd is extremely rich. The people that hate him spend more time thinking about him then the ones that like him. Canelo has a puncher’s chance but Floyd wins this easily. Money May by TKO.Posted September 7, 2013 5:05 am

Look up how old Duran was when he fought Barkley as a swelled up weight that he shouldn’t have been at after being KO’d by Hearns who got his ass whipped by Barkley. This is why fighting isn’t what it was. Top fighters fought got beat OR won and kept fighting for the sake of WHO WAS THE BEST! AT WHAT WEIGHT THEY MET AT. Mayweather beat up Marquez and was WAY bigger like Hopkins was against DeLahoya and Trinidad. I mean come on people look at Hopkins and them facing down like Mayweather and Marquez. 2 different sizes. BUT Floyd has never beaten another top boxer naturally bigger than him like Duran or LaMotta or Haye! Yes i said it or Tyson when they were flawed but hung their nuts out on the line. OR Sugar Ray who did so so many times. Don’t dislike him for this but different times folks. What if Floyd signed for GGG the day after the Canelo fight?????Posted September 7, 2013 12:06 am
This fool is the biggest lier in boxing history. He claims that he has been in top of the boxing game for the past 20 years. Ok, where was he when these guys were fighting.
He never fought fighters in the p4p list until they were done. Check the ring magazine p4p list since 2000 and it clearly shows that mayweather duck every fighter who was a treat to his undefeated record and now he claims to be running the game. BIT$H PLEASE.
And the list goes on and on…Posted September 6, 2013 11:50 pm
PAC was second in command when it came to prize fighting and take home pay. He can’t take home the pay he deserve to take home. Because he rather let Bob ROBBBBBB him. PAC don’t need no promoter, HE has the popularity already. So I ask again, Why is PAC still fighting under BOB ARUM?Posted September 6, 2013 11:13 pm
PAC DON’t NEED BOB, BUT YET CHOOSE to STAY with him, FOR WHAT? PAC IS HIDING FROM FLOYD. AT least he WAS.Posted September 6, 2013 11:08 pm
RAY, Yes Mayweather could lose. I didn’t say he couldn’t. Everybody is talking about Mayweather should have fought COTTO. BOB is the reason why this fight was not made. YOU have COTTO saying after the Arturo Gatti fight saying HE WAS NO READY FOR MAYWEATHER! COTTO LEFT BOB for one fight. GUESS WHO HE FOUGHT FOR that one fight? YOU ARE RIGHT, Mayweather! Money also at one time told PAC to leave BoB to make the fight, BUT no PAC WILL not do it. PAC is hiding from Mayweather behind BOB.Posted September 6, 2013 11:06 pm
Well lets wait and see. Lets not forget what happend to Anderson Silva…lol Anything is possible. It would be funny as hell if Canelo won! Then win or lose maybe finally Mayweather will man up and face Pacquioa. I find it difficult to understand why Mayweather will face a “bigger” man like Canelo but avoid a “smaller” man like Pacquioa?? Odd.Posted September 6, 2013 10:59 pm
GO MAAAAAYWEATHEREEEERRRRRRRRRRRR!. 5 more fights. GO GET EM! WIN OR LOSE it don’t matter. I’m sure all of the haters that hate you will give you the SAME EXCUSE they give their favorite fighters. Stop fighting the little fighters. FIGHT ANDRE? CQNELO is ducking Sergio Martinez. LOLPosted September 6, 2013 10:53 pm
Well we would be talking Pacquioa vs Mayweather but then his fangirls would say something like ” Oh….ummm… that fight doesnt even need to happen anymore.” Really? Pacquioa vs Mayweather needs to happen regardless of who wins or loses.Posted September 6, 2013 10:47 pm
Everybody still talking about PAC. TELL PAC to win a fight first. And I hope he don’t think RIOS is qualified as a fight. PAC IS A FRAUD. WHY IS HE EVEN FIGHTING RIOS. RIOS? RIOS? THE SAME Rios that just got his ASS_SS Kicked? REALLY RIOS? LMBO!! HA HA HA HAPosted September 6, 2013 10:46 pm
Tark- True. Matthysse can just about smoke anyone but with Mayweather his power would be useless. Mayweather likes to HOLD down his opponent’s ARM alot thus making it almost impossible to hit Mayweather clean. It one of his tactics along with using that ELBOW to push off.Posted September 6, 2013 10:44 pm
Sound like a bunch of whiners still posting Hate. Why aren’t you guys talking about Pacroid up coming fight with RIOS. LOL O I forgot THey both just got their as-sses kicked and they are fighting in the Loser Bowl. LOLPosted September 6, 2013 10:43 pm
To add Canelo already knows that Mayweather will use his ELBOW alot in that fight but he should prepare also for the excessive HOLDING.Posted September 6, 2013 10:35 pm

This is going to be an amazing fight…
Canelo is going to fight his ass off whatever happens… Floyd always fights like a wounded animal when he’s hurt bad or behind on points… Winning means more to Floyd than emerging alive.
This is what Canelo Alvarez has to remember that Shane Mosley forgot. Don’t think Floyd won’t fight his ass off.. Don’t give Floyd a damned thing if you’re ahead.. even if you’re WAY the Hell ahead.. or if you’re behind.. or WAY behind.. Keep looking for the next punch to score or avoid … One punch can make a huge difference in a fight like this.Posted September 6, 2013 7:32 pm
Rod, really? Can you prove that? Got a link? Title of a video or reliable article in which Arum is quoted as saying that?
I remember Cotto saying this back in 2007: “He [Mayweather] has had great victories, but when you talk about Miguel Cotto and Floyd Mayweather, he always comes up with excuses — I’m not the opponent for him, I’m not ready for him,” Cotto said. “I earned all I have now. I worked for that. Over the next year, year-and-a-half, I can take the big names.”Posted September 6, 2013 7:30 pm
Seperate card? For what? If anything its good that they are stacking them. Matthysse vs Garcia! Hell yea!Posted September 6, 2013 7:18 pm
Make an exciting fight my ass! Quit excessively holding and running. i and make it exciting but same crap will unfold. wish the under card was separate. i can wait another week and not pay for a admitted handp icked opponents. not that i’m cheap, i can easily aford it, not giving this asswipe my moneyPosted September 6, 2013 6:54 pm
THANKS ROD FOR THAT, I saw that interview, I just could not remember which fightPosted September 6, 2013 5:30 pm
Watch the Mayweather vs Bruseles fight Arum is interviewed afterwards and said himself Cotto is not ready for Mayweather. Bruseles was a fighter trained by Cotto’s uncle also and was sent to test the water.Posted September 6, 2013 5:27 pm
Oh, I have a few counter-arguments:
“I never fought nobody for a vacant belt.” Not true. Floyd fought Judah for the IBF welterweight title and the vacant IBO welterweight title. I think he fought for a another vacant IBO belt in another fight.
“Of course, it’s a lot easier now to fight … boxing is tainted, is watered down.”
“Everybody I fought, I fought a champion, a guy that was a champion.” Maybe, but what kind of champion was he? Mayweather just stated there are too many belts and the sport is too watered down, but then credits himself for fighting only champions, like Bruseles who was a “Latino Champion” when Floyd fought him in a WBC title eliminator bout. Corely wasn’t a champion when Mayweather fought him. Judah had already taken Corely’s belt from him. N’dou wasn’t a lightweight champion when Floyd defended his WBC lightweight championship against him. Augustus wasn’t a champion, neither was Hernandez or Sosa (if my memory serves me correctly.) And, Floyd may always fight “champions” but he doesn’t always fight for a championship. For instance, he fought Mosley for the victory only–no belt was involved, and in a number of other fights as well.
“I thought I was going to be kind of upset because I didn’t get a chance to take a vacation.’ Vacation from what? Fighting twice or less per year? Even when you don’t get hurt–or even marked? “Well, thank you, but I wasn’t impressed with my fight against Robert. It’s probably because I took over a year off,” See what I mean?
“Like I said before, in Mexico he’s a young rock star and everybody that they put in front of him he was able to go out there and do his job. He done it in a tremendous fashion. He’s a good, strong, solid boxer and I mean, it’s a very intriguing match up.” Interesting. Didn’t Floyd recently ask “Who has he fought?”
On Olympic style drug testing: “All I’m saying is this is the only even playing field. ” Right. I suppose cheating on your weight and taking regular xylocaine injections also makes for an “even playing field?”
Oh well.Posted September 6, 2013 4:52 pm
